Mr Moto Pizza - Phoenix

Wowza! This is my new favorite pizza place! I lived on the east side of town and frequented a place called Sal's, which is a FANTASTIC place, but this spot has stolen my heart. I didn't think it was possible but it is! The sad part about my introduction to Mr. Moto was that I had to travel to San Diego to discover it, only to find that there is one in my neighborhood! We stumbled upon this place in Little Italy--San Diego. We ate there twice and tried several slices, getting something different each time. I'm happy to report that the Mr. Moto in the valley is just as good. They make a big deal about their sauce, and they should, but the dough/crust is where it's at! It's like a thin yet airy pizza. It's kinda buttery too. We have tried every flavor but so far I like the pizza of the month (May 2024). This month it was like a chicken pesto style pizza, only better. It's cool that they have new recipes for us to try. Seriously, eat here. My bf and I have picked up a slice 3 times in 1 week! My only advice to the manager is to get some music playing. It's really quiet in there, like a library. The pizza is too good and fun to not have some music in the background.

I've driven past Mr Moto dozens of times and didn't realize what I was missing. The art of pizza by the slice is almost non existent in Arizona. Mr Moto serves NY style pizza by the slice, approximately a dozen options available. I tried 3 slices. All were excellent. I absolutely plan on coming back soon for a grab n go lunch or dinner. Mr Moto is the real deal.

Really like this za ! You can tell they use great ingredients and it doesn't taste like anything else really in town ... pricing is decent... what more can you ask for ! Good job to this team, we ordered delivery.

I came looking for Giant Rustic Pizza, but was surprised to find this pizzeria in its place. Mr. Moto was a pleasant surprise. I had two slices and was very satisfied. Tastiness: very tasty. 10 out of 10!Service: quick and friendlyCleanliness: clean and tidy. Vibe: chill Overall: loved it! Will come back again. Hopefully soon.

I've ordered Mr Moto pizza a few times for work events and we've all been pleased each time. The first time we ordered was around the time they were newly open and we gave them another shot recently and were left pleased again! Their pizza is sooo good. I enjoy their crust a lot. I really love their service, they're always so helpful over the phone and in person as well. Their establishment is clean and has the coolest interior wallpaper! I look forward to eating Mr Moto again.

I was very excited to try this pizza place based on the reviews, but the reviews do not match my experience at all. Makes me wonder if the reviews are fake. First, I tried ordering on UberEats but there is no option to customize any pizzas, so I ordered on Yelp/GrubHub. The pizza crust is good, but that's about it. There is no sauce on the pizza so I'm guessing that's why there is no flavor. See my pictures when I pulled the cheese back - no sauce. The pepperoni on top of the pizza is not cooked. It looks like this was a cheese pizza cooked earlier, then added pepperoni and jalapeños on the cooked pizza then reheated again. Not fresh at all.I ordered 2 orders of wings and only received 1. $10 for 6 wings is also crazy. I wish the wings I did receive were edible but unfortunately they are undercooked. The fat from the wings is not rendered. It's chewy and unpleasant to eat. They are baked so you don't get that crunch you'd get from typical wing joints. The stuffed jalapeño garlic knot is also not edible. I spit it out immediately. It has a bitter flavor from the burnt garlic on the outside. Most of this went in the trash and I ordered from another place.

Was driving around and found the best spot. The taste and choices were great! Loved to watch pizza made.Awesome place!!!

All in all, love this place! Slices are max $4.50, huge variety of slices, lots of combo/specials, super friendly, clean, and all of my favorite parts of an Italian menu, pizza, ceasar salad, and cannolis! I can only speak for the slice and the garlic knot - both were great, the crust is nice and thin, I feel like a fresh pizza from these guys would be amazing since a slice can never really do it justice..have I had a better slice before? Yes. In the past 6 months? Maybe not. And for the value, can't beat it around here. And so friendly!! Definitely trying the chicken bacon ranch next time..

Delicious incredible great price AMAZING! Seriously some of the best pizza in Arizona. Tastes like east coast pizza. 10/10 they have a great rewards program as well and are always pushing coupons out.
