Mr. Moto Pizza - North Park

We came here after a long day at the zoo. This location is less than 10 minutes from the zoo and open super late on the weekends. Parking here however, can be troublesome. The parking lot is VERY small and it is much harder to park a larger car (my 4 runner). Anyways, the pizza here is good and there is such a great variety of types of pizza! Prices here are also amazing, very affordable! You can get any slice for less than $5. If you have a larger group and want a better deal, you can pick any 8 slices for $35 and save $3. They also have meal deals of 2 slices + drink for $12.50 or a better deal of 3 slices + drink for $14.25. If beer is your thing, you can get 2 slices _ beer for $17.50. I like places like these because I like variety instead of having to order an entire pizza of only one flavor. Everyone can get something they like! We tried Mission Blvd, Mr, Moto, Furious diable, Rocky mountain, margherita, the hulk, extra virgin. Everything was good in their own way, so it just depends what you like. I'm a meat, meat, meat girl, so I really liked the hulk slice. I also love the thin NYC style crust. They also sell garlic knots ($2 each or 6 for $10) and stuffed garlic knots ($3.75), pasta, calzone, wings, salad, and a couple desserts. We only had the pizza and garlic knots. The garlic knots are huge and they were pretty generous on the dipping sauce. They were a bit more dense than I typically like so I think I would skip the knots next time and try something else.The cashier was friendly and patient as I chose all these different slices of pizza. Food came out quick and hot! the atmosphere here is very casual. You order, pay and the food comes out. Prices here are definitely way better than any place you find downtown, not to mention that the pizza here is way better also! Would I come back here? Yes, I would!! There are more things here I would like to try. Also, check in on Yelp BEFORE you order!! I did not check in until after I paid and sat down and a 20% discount popped up!

Ordered 2 large pizzas during a walk in to go: special of the month and one other (can't recall name right now). Pizza was made quick. I didn't check into yelp until after I paid and noticed there was a discount offered with check-in. Jose TC rang me up originally and was able to refund me the difference which was great. He was kind and efficient/The pizzas were great! I especially loved the crust. Every since I have been pregnant, this baby loves bread. Pizza was high quality. I would definitely come back.

I don't understand the hype around this pizza place. Despite its reputation, I found the pizza lacking in flavor. The Margherita and sausage pizzas were particularly disappointing, tasting bland and reminiscent of cheap, store-bought options.The main appeal of this spot seems to be the ability to buy pizza by the slice, making it a convenient choice for families, budget-conscious diners, or those looking for a quick snack or late-night bite while enjoying their selection of good beer.When we visited, we were a group of three and found that the best deal was the combo option. This allowed each of us to have two slices of pizza and share a soda, making it a reasonably priced meal.

First, let me say they make a great pizza. Yum. The problem is that when we order delivery, it arrives way past the time it says when you place your order and it arrives cold. We let it go at first because we love their pizza but it's happened 3 times now. They tried to make it better this last time by giving us a free pizza, but the process was weird. We had to go online and order another pizza and then they would cancel the first order. I didn't want to have to pay twice to get one refund. And they couldn't promise it would arrive warm.So, in a nutshell, we love their pizza but DO NOT order delivery. Go pick it up instead.

Decent pizza, but you can skip the garlic knots, they're not worth it! I've had both the regular and the stuffed, and neither was that impressive. Mr.Moto Pizza North Park makes delicious pizza! We have only tried the pizza and garlic knots. This is NYC style pizza so it's thin with thin crust and the slices are nice and big. The dough is made to perfection. I can eat this pizza hot, cold, or room temp it's that yummy! The restaurant is smaller but there are tables and bar seating. The restaurant is clean and the staff is helpful.

Hello Moto! Dang, remember that??? LOL!Not knowing where to go, I thought why not check out Mr. Moto, it has been a while. I thought I had reviewed it but I guess I didn't. Menu is pretty simple, which is nice. Ordered a pepperoni pizza and the pesto penne. They have a nice patio out in front which was perfect for Cako.Everything came out in a timely manner. We just ordered sodas and it was help yourself. A student from my school was working and that was a nice thing to see. In fact, a number of students from my school have worked here. Looks like a fun place to work, maybe I should quit my day job! ;)Cako Approves!

Still an awesome place to grab a couple of slices or a pie. They ditched the PBR for more authentic SoCal Beers: Pacifico & Corona. These guys survived the pandemic in which a lot of businesses did not - and that only happens when your food is great and you have a loyal fan base in the community. The Pie o' the Month is always worth trying with the staples of the veggie 'Mission' to the bacon/ranch Californian'. The garlic knots are a great appetizer. They also have a pet friendly patio!

while i'm typically a taco guy after drinking the night away, this place might convert me to pizza after drinking. they also have some good combos like 2 slices+drink or beer. i got the Rocky Mountain and California Love, which were both awesome and definitely perked me up for more drinks later in the night. do your stomach a service and make it a stop during your bar hopping journey. you'll be thankful later...

Love service & the pizza with a great view and they honored 20% discount with Yelp, which made me super happy.
