Mr. Moto Pizza - Little Italy

Mr. Moto Pizza is the perfect spot to get a gluten free pizza, it's flavorful and very light for pizza! I've only gotten my pizza to go every time but they do have indoor & outdoor sitting. The service is friendly and quick! It is a little pricey, but what isn't pricey in Little Italy. I am not a big gluten free person but my cousin is, so he insisted on getting the gluten free one time and now I will not have it any other way! If you are a ranch on your pizza person like me, the ranch is tasty. Highly recommend this spot if you are looking for a quick pizza spot in Little Italy!

I can sum up my experience at Mr. Moto Pizza in three words - tasty but frustrating. We ordered online and were informed that our order would be ready in 30 to 45 minutes. We got there in about 40 minutes, and our food was not ready. We were told to come back in 10. Ten minutes later, still no food. This time, we were told come back in 5. Five minutes later, "come back in 4." By this time, it would have been laughable, but we were hungry, especially my 6 year old grandson. Four minutes later, the very nice young man behind the counter offered us garlic knots as an apology. Nice gesture, but it didn't do much to allay our frustration. So, that was the frustrating part. My gluten-free pizza was the tasty part, even though they forgot the balsamic drizzle I ordered and paid for. Would I go there again? Yes, despite the very poor handling of our order. Clearly, something went wrong in preparing it. They could have been much more transparent about what was happening. But, the food was good enough to give them another try.

Lots of choices in Little Italy but this had great reviews so we checked it out while we were in town. The location was easy to get to, ample indoor and outdoor seating. They were short staffed that day so the food took a while but they were trying their best and let us know ahead of time. Great food, and worth the short wait! Thanks for a great visit.

This is a very tasty fast casual pizza place in Little Italy. I appreciated the ability to walk up and order versus traditional table service. Our pizza came out fast, was perfectly cooked and tasted great. I'd definitely visit here again - the garlic knots looked yummy and the price point is great.

Tried their cheese slice, and I got to say I'm not a fan of this pizza. Super doughy, not crispy. And for 10 dollars and change for 1 slice and a soda. Way overpriced in my opinion. 3.2 on the portnoy scale.

I walked in and the young lady in the back making the pizzas and everything was very friendly very nice pretty cool and I was rude I heard her say good morning and I didn't say anything so I made sure I commented back until the good morning about 15-20 seconds later. And I'm glad I did I think it's rude when someone says good morning or hello and no one speaks and when I told her good morning and apologized she just smiled and it was just such a beautiful smile. Before our 2 hour wait brunch my son and I decided to stop in and grab a little something. Last time I was here in the area we were to come back and we didn't. So now we are here as promised,even if I am a year late. The food was amazing. A must stop.

Cute pizza place where they serve pizza by the slice!!! Decided to come over and have few different slices of pizza and they were great. It is a pretty small restaurant so it is more popular with take out than dining in. I would not mind coming back here, but more importantly, I was really happy with their beer selection! Service wise - things move on a slower side.

The Extra Virgin pizza slice was crispy, cheesy, and rich in flavor. The bottom of the pizza unexpectedly is quite crispy but this pairs well with the layer of cheese on the top. It wasn't too heavy on the olive oil.

My kids and I recently visited San Diego for vacation and happily stumbled upon Mr. Moto's Pizza in Little Italy. To our surprise, the food was outstanding. Bold statement, but it's the best pizza I've ever had. We also discovered the second location, which was charming, fun, and impeccably clean. The food is incredible, and Mr. Moto's quirky and entertaining commercials playing on the TV add to the experience.The variety is impressive--there's something for everyone. My kids loved the pepperoni and cheese pizzas, while I couldn't get enough of the Mama Moto with burrata and truffle. It's simply the most incredible pizza. I wish there were locations in Redondo Beach or Hermosa Beach.We returned during Comic-Con and made sure to visit Mr. Moto's again. The value for the price is fantastic, with generous slice sizes. We even ordered a large pizza to take home.
