Mr. Kushari

I've never had kushari before so I was super excited to try this place! I ordered a kushari bowl ($8.50 at the truck, $10 on food delivery app) and a kafta kebab plate ($12.50 at the truck, $15.50 on food delivery app).There are a few parking spaces in the gas station where the food truck is parked. I could smell the meat cooking while I was waiting for my order. They don't have any seating set up and there isn't much shade at the spot where you place and receive your order, so keep that in mind.The portions are great for the price! The kafta kebab plate came with a lot of rice mixed with vermicelli. The rice was very soft such that you wouldn't be able to separate the grains from each either. The meat was a little dry, but very flavorful. The veggies in the salad were fresh, and the hummus was tart but tasty.I had no expectations when trying the kushari, but I'd say that it tastes exactly like its components: various carbs with a flavorful tomato sauce. Not something I'd find myself craving, but it's vegetarian friendly!All the items in my order were nicely seasoned, but they also gave me a variety of sauces. They included a very spicy red sauce, an herby broth type of sauce, tahini, and a super strong garlic sauce. If you like garlic then you should definitely try their sauce! The sauces pack so much flavor into the food.

Best Egyptian cuisine outside of Alexandria! Very authentic and cooked fresh to order. The owners are very friendly. Definitely returning!

The koshari was cooked to perfection. Everything was well seasoned and was so warm. I also ordered the hawashi and it was the best hawashi I've ever had. I loved everything so much. The staff are also super friendly and kind

Absolutely delightful food. The falafel and mahshi were cooked to perfection and perfectly balanced within the pita pocket sandwich. The kushari was unlike anything I've eaten, with a unique combination of flavors and textures that were super tasty. Can't recommend this place enough!

We've been living by his food truck for about 3 years. We always wanted to try it, but always forgot. We will keep this in mind now. You can order ahead of time and pick it up. We tried the grape leaves, chicken platter, baba ghanoush, and falafel sandwich. All were tasty and we'd recommend it.

Easily the best Mediterranean food I've had in Boston. The owner is so friendly and the food is amazing! Try the chicken plate- the garlic sauce is no joke. Soooooo good! Must try! It's right next to Sunoco fast station by Fenway. If you like hummus, chicken Kebab, or falafel you have to go :)

Delicious food. It was my first time trying kushari and it was very flavorful and fresh. I also enjoyed the Egyptian fries with garlic sauce. I plan to definitely come back and recommend to all my friends

The entire menu is mouthwatering...So glad we stopped by this flavorful gem! Amazing food certainly worth it!
