Mr B's Mead

Tiny un-assuming homey business with great Mead! We tried the 2 flights of 5 - 1 oz. Tastings. I loved the creative flavors! Our favorites were the sparklings, and we bought 4 bottles of those for $18. The regular meads are STRONG (12%-15% ABV) and give a good buzz.

A really cool hidden spot! Very quirky and made great use of the space considering how small the space is. The bar tender was super nice and even let us bring food into the outdoor area. We got a flight of meads which were yummy but not as sweet as I was thinking they would be (it almost felt like we were sipping on slightly sweet shots) so I am giving this place 4 stars because I was thinking the mead would be much sweeter. Definitely a cool spot to hang out in though!

Before COVID-19 hit Seattle, I got to enjoy a nice afternoon in Mr. B's tasting room with my closest girlfriends! A quiet and clean space with comfy bar stools and plenty of mead in delicious flavors. We each did the mead tasting, which included 5-6 small cups. They were so delicious that we ended up buying bottles after!!! $22 for a large bottle (750 ml), $13 for a small (375 ml ). We were there for HOURS. My favorite flavors were: 1) Lavender2) Ginger BeastBut I'm glad that I tried more than that because the other flavors were interesting too. Right now, Mr. B is offering local delivery. I ordered two bottles yesterday afternoon, and they were delivered today (in less than 24 hours). I also pre-ordered a few bottles of the next Lavender batch. Yes -- it's so good that it's sold out TWICE in less than two months.

Went on a short little vacation to Seattle and was looking on Groupon to check out some things to do in the area and found this mead spot. This is a pretty dope spot. Small and intimate and loved the homey feel inside. Was able to meet the owner and he was very informative and friendly.I've been to a handful of mead spots and this is hands down the best I've been to. Lots of different meads and you can actually taste all the flavors in each one.If you're looking for a great mead spot or even if you haven't heard of it, I would definitely recommend this place to try.

This stuff is tasty! Didn't even know what it was til I tried it but I am into it. The space is small but awesome. Go chat with Mr. B!

The most delicious mead I've ever had!!! The owner is extremely helpful and has great customer service and the mead speaks for itself. Will definitely be back to buy more!

Absolutely a hidden gem of Fremont! We stumbled on this and followed the rainbow staircase down to this amazing place. The host was very nice and our group was thrilled by the selection of Mead here. A lot of us were new so seeing some crazy flavors like Burbon Barrel Aged Apple Pie had us blown away. The flights are a fantastic price and you'll definitely want to bring friends to share. We all had a great experience talking with the guy that night too.Do not skip the bathroom here, its also its own magical rainforest experience.

Cozy little hideaway in the heart of Fremont. The inside is snug, but welcoming. There is some outside seating as well.Tons of options to try! We all sampled from a flight and ended up buying a few bottles. Loads more flavor varieties than your average mead offering in Seattle, so worth a shot even if you don't like more traditional meads.The owner is super personable and will help guide you through all the options.Totally recommend!
