Mr. Beef & Pizza

You can't go wrong with the classic pizza puff or hot dog. Only negative about this place is they don't sell mild sauce! Pretty good. The food worker are nice and the atmosphere is cozy.

Food was decent, not great. Service sucked!At the drive-thru I asked for a beef with hot peppers and juicy. He asked if I wanted hot or sweet peppers, I told him I did. He asked the scene question again, I told him again. He asked the third time, same response.There was nobody in line ahead of me, behind me, or inside the restaurant. The restaurant. I pulled up to the drive-thru, paid, and proceeded to wait 9 minutes for two sandwiches of fry and 2 drinks. All the while, the two workers were standing inside chatting with each other, and on their phones.When I finally got my meal it was handed to me with no more than a grunt and then a immediately closed window. Very rude, especially after waiting maybe say something?I opened up the sandwich after leaving, and guess what? No. Flipping. peppers. Also guess what didn't happen in the 9 minutes that they sat there talking. They couldn't think of putting a single napkin in the bag for somebody who ordered any food from them, let alone a juicy beef. The first time I went here was right after they opened and the owner was an extremely nice lady who went over the top, trying to be courteous and friendly. That approach is falling off a cliff.It's completely reasonable to me that Johnnie's has a line out the door today, and these guys don't have any single car but my foolish self, in their drive-thru.I was in a hurry and mistakenly thought it would be quicker to go here, even though I (correctly) knew the quality would be inferior.Two stars because the food was reasonably good. Definitely not my favorite, but I would eat it again if I didn't have to deal with what I dealt with.

They were okay when they first opened in Forest Park, then they thought it would be a great idea to hire a company that employs people from Malaysia to take your food order at the drive thru - can't understand a word they say, and then I got to the window, I figured out what was going on. Then the other day I went inside, same thing, there was one person working behind the counter, but there are long distance order takers from a foreign land looking at you through a camera Lense, I guess. Not a good idea.If Mr. Beef thinks they are saving money this way, they're not because I am done with Mr. Beef in Forest Park. I'll go to the Mr. Beef south of Irving if I am in the area, but I'm less than a block away from this one and no way am I going back. Plus, they call you in the middle of the day telling you about promotions. I don't want to be bothered by some foreign people calling me about promotions where I get an occasional slice of Pizza - seriously, whomever was the brainchild behind this ridiculous marketing garbage has no brain.

Yummy. Amazing. No complaints over here. Always love a mr beef pizza!Taste like memories and Chicago. Mr. Beefs has been around for a pretty while. Always safe place to order.

This place recently opened in a spot formerly occupied by a Long John Silver's. My brother had stopped by there and spoke highly of the place; I've heard mixed reviews on their other locations, so I was eager to check it out.They have a drive up and that ordering experience was good overall. Prompt attention, audible device and not too long a wait after my order was placed. A car ahead of me was asked to pull up - I pulled up, paid for my order, got it and pulled away with that guest still waiting. As for the food... I ordered a combo, slice of sausage pizza and instead of fries, an order of onion rings. Since the place is called Mr Beef AND Pizza, I thought I'd give both a try with the sausage tossed in as good measure. The combo was good, but I've had better. I was asked if I wanted it dipped - I replied, "no, just normal" - it came out fairly wet, but not to the extent that it fell apart in my hands as I was eating it - so I was OK with that. Decent flavor but I've had more robust beef and sausage before... I'd rank this as "safe" for about anyone's taste. The pizza slice was pretty decent as well. Looks like they cut their slices in 10th's - it wasn't big enough to be an 8th, but definitely bigger than a 12th. OK flavor - decent amount of cheese and sausage.The one item I kinda had an issue with was the onion rings. My total bill was $18.88 - which seemed pretty high, but in these days of rising prices, ya never know. When I looked at the tab - it was the rings that were out of hand - $4.59 for seven onion rings of varying sizes. They were pretty good and bit off clean - no issues with dragging onions through the emptied breading. But at more than 70 cents apiece after taxes, I'll do fries if I stop there again. Good luck to the staff and owners - they have done a nice job of picking up that property and putting a viable business in its place.

Came in and placed the order in person through a speaker. We were over charged for the food and when we brought it up to the PERSON behind the counter, he seemed bothered by our discovery. There are no high chairs for kids, yet there is a kids menu. There is no changing table in the bathroom. The food was over cooked. The door to the kitchen was open, which is a hazard. There are two things that make a good restaurant establishment: good customer service and good food. Unfortunately this place fell short.

What a disappointment, I was so excited to have one closer, I grew up going to the one on Harlem and Addison. The ordering is through a person who is not in the building and cannot understand you through the drive thru, I ordered online for delivery and there is no status for my order that is already 25 minutes past the delivery time. I asked if they could check the status and he said they're still making the pizza and told me it takes 30 minutes to make one, but I ordered an hour and 15 minutes ago. Unfortunately the in-restaurant staff is wonderful but the customer service and ordering is awful.

Ordered beefs dipped they were not at all dipped ordered fries about 10 or 15 fries in a small bag when the driver delivered my order he asked me for the money for the order I said what money I paid by card on the phone the driver proceeded to tell me how he hated picking up orders from this place as he gets complaints from other customers about paying him when they clearly paid by phone or online so when I called back no answer called back again was treated rudely on the phone and hung up on wouldn't even give me the owners name or their name u lost a 40 yr customer

It was not good at all. I just got an Italian beef with fries and a piece of cake. The cake was freezer burnt and had this weird brown liquid all over it. Like a soda got spilled on it or something. The beef was dry and had no peppers on it and wasn't even dipped. No flavor, didn't bother taking more than a few bites. The only good thing was the fries.

Terrible customer service. Received a coupon for a free ice cream on my birthday. When I tried to redeem it I was told only on line order.Really ice cream on line.Besides there was no manager only a speaker. No person. I will NEVER set foot in the place again.
