Mannn the most underrated Birria spot! Their tacos are huge and amazing ! The gentleman at the window helped me and explained the menu to me. My wife got stuffed carne asada potato and she loved it. They have available seating which is rare for a food truck. Definitely coming back here

I went 2 days ago, the food was just OK, I didn't like the ambiance, the music they play is super LOUD! And also something I didn't like was that the food prices are NOT POSTED, I believe that's illegal. My Adobada quesadilla was around $12, the flavor was MEH, the portion was good. Next time I will go to Tacos El Gordo, better flavor, more confortable and prices are posted.

When in Chula Vista...MUST visit Mr. Adobada! So happens to be TACO TUESDAYS $1.50 specials. Not that their prices aren't cheap, their tacos are normally under $2.50. We were starving when we arrived to town. Thank gosh for the nice weather or we would be roasting in the sun. There was about 4 orders ahead of us. It wasn't too long of a wait. The girl at the window was really nice. We ordered the following for our late lunch:Note: Tacos comes with "Everything: Onions, Cilantro & Guacamole"01. 5-Tacos Pollo (Chicken) w/ everything $2.25 - 4 Stars- Big chunks of chicken and seasoned, the tortillas was so good. 02. 4-Tacos Asada (Beef) $2.40 - 5 Stars- Perfectly seared and juicy cuts of beef. One of my FAVE meats on their menu.03. 2-Adobada (Spicy Pork) $2.25 - 3 Stars- Our least fave meat from them. I prefer other Al Pastors from other restaurants. I think it was just the taste and "bright red" color of the meat that threw me off. The taste was mild. You might like it, it's one of their popular meats. 04. Vampiro (Mix of Adobada/Asada) $2.45 - 4 Stars- The Tortilla was grilled to a crispy shell and layered on the bottom, meat mix in the middle, a thin layer of crispy cheese and then another crispy shell on top. This was good. Order it if you love a crunchy taco.05. Quesataco (Mix of Adobada/Asada) $8.50 - 5 Stars- Okay, this was a cheese-based crisp that looked like a tortilla. Realized it was KETO friendly since it's only made with Cheese. The stuff it with the 2 meat mix with the works (Onions, Cilantro, Guacamole). Delicious and so BIG! Definitely a shared item if you order tacos too. 06. Mr. Adobada Fries (Small $8.50/Large $13.50) - 4 Stars- This was so HUGE, we didn't need to order the Large. It came with the Asada (tons of it) on the huge tray of skinny fries, topped with Cheese, Guacamole and Sour Cream. This feed 7 of us. The small size would've been PLENTY. If you like your Asada on the charred side, just ask them to grill your Asada a bit longer. You'll love it more charred! VERDICT: MUST TRY if you are in the area. Everything is amazing except my heart just couldn't flex for their Adobada. Try everything on the menu! Ask for their FREE Beans, Grilled Onions & Jalapenos!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE: Nice staff, everyone had gloves and masks on. LOCATION: They are literally sharing a parking lots with an actual Taco/Mexican restaurant. Mr. Adobada's customers can use the restaurant's restroom (plus if you needed one). Their "RED" truck is parked on H Street, you'll see them from the street.PARKING: Always packed but you can park in the surrounding plazas to the left and right of their locations. Parking in the back as well.

This food truck makes some pretty good al pastor. I had a pair of them for an early dinner at $2.25 a piece. They were good and the al pastor marinade was tasty, but the pork meat was a little on the dry side. They put a good amount of it on each taco. The guacamole sauce was good and so were the rest of the ingredients that came on the tacos, including the salsa. If they can find a way to keep the meat juicy that would be just grand. They lady who took my order was very nice and the man who made my tacos was cool. Outside the truck, the offer a nice salsa bar and tented seating, which is very nice of them to offer.

I don't understand how you can make tacos taste this bad and the name itself is Mr.adobada . Spent $48 and some change for 8 tacos and 1 mulita . Ridiculously overpriced for terrible tacos. Should've gone to tacos El gordo a few feet down the street. Tacos are street size tacos and they're charging for regular taco size. Please save your money and go somewhere else.

We were craving some street tacos and came across this food truck. It was all decked out and super chic! Very clean area and the food was amazing! The adobada tacos were delicious but what made my night was the Papa Loca (a baked potato with cheese, meat and guacamole)!!!!Definitely will be returning and recommend it all the way!!

The truck is stationed at Sabor de la Baja. Prices are not listed on the menu on the side of the truck. Cali burrito was $14 and some change, and a quesadilla with carne asada was $12 and some change. Both lacked flavor. The tortillas were not fresh (stiff). The quesadilla had spicy guacamole with pieces of raw chili peppers, onions and cilantro (not listed in the description) my grandson doesn't eat guacamole or spicy food. The burrito was tasteless and below basic. Super bummed! Should have gone to Roberto's!Also, the restrooms were horribly dirty- and that's according to my 16 year old grandson!
