Mountain View Kitchen

I just came in off a whim. Their cheeseburger is better than Houston's. Better than Five guys, almost as good as Roaring Fork restaurant, but Mountain View kitchen has the better fries to match up with the burger.Tiny spot unpretentious but clean. Certainly not a first date restaurant but the food is amazing. Each table around me commented on how good the food and service was.Nice music no racket. I'll be doing it again for sure.

Went for breakfast after a very sweaty Cross country meet. It was good food. Seemed to be all fresh and homemade. Great bacon, which is important. The prices were reasonable. The waitress was amazing!

We were looking for a lite lunch after walking through the Art on the Avenue. We chose Mountain View Kitchen and it was a great choice. We each had salads. I chose the Greek Salad and husband had the Chicken Caesar. Both were the perfect size. The ingredients were fresh with a good ratio of toppings to lettuce. The size of the chicken on the Caesar salad was ample. Service was excellent. I liked the mason jar glasses for water and soda. Great stop.

This cute little place has a great mom and pop feel to it. Very friendly staff even though the one server was overwhelmed with customers but she kept a smile on her face and was hustling to make sure everyone was happy. The food was a little bland for our taste (party of 6) even the green chilis in the wife's omelette had almost no flavor and very little heat. We figured given the location maybe it it has to be. Portions were small but we walked away not hungry and a little disappointed. But it's always fun when you get to drink from a mason jar. We all got a little chuckle from that.

Very nice place to eat a hardy breakfast with great coffee. Family owned and very clean.

First time here. Found while on Shea and thought "Let's try them". Drove off the route.Well to my surprise they had Gluten free wraps and ordered the Grilled Chicken sand and sub the GF wrap.Wrap came in 6 inch fold over like a soft taco and grilled crispy on outside!?!?! Not a wrap. Tried to wrap bit could not due to grilled tortilla. Tried to pick up up ans eat like a soft taco, they added the mayo based sauce and YEP THE INSIDES FELL OUT.Came in a plastic basket with a wax paper liner TRIED to cut it up to eat, wax paper tore.Enter the waitress "how are things"Asked if they forgot the wrap part, which she said " She has problems wrapping up the GF wraps, so that's why she didn't wrap it."I was dumb founded. Asked for a plate so I could cut it up. She tried to take the basket and I told her just bring me a plate.(3 times folks) we actually began to argue.I kept waiting for someone from PUNKED to jump out.Least of things to say, screw the cook. Don't have thi gs on menus that you can't do. I do GF wraps at home w/o difficulty.Ruined our lunch. I ate cut up mushy ew with 2 to 3 inch long chicken planks.To much crap and drama!!!!!!** update** I was sick by the time I was home. Threw up, had to take 150mg benadryl and a pepsid for an allergic reaction. Tounge swelled. I am allergic to wheat flour not just gluten intolerance, don't think the wrap was even gluten-free. Next 3 days are gonna be hell. Don't eat here.
