Mountain Room Bar

This was one of those rare occasions where I didn't look at reviews first. The airport was freezing. What brought me in here was the inviting fireplace. I parked it at a high top and service was fine. Can recommend the Pikes chowder, even if it's served in a cardboard bowl with a plastic spoon. Wine was not the best and really not worth the $13 charge per glass. A cup of hot tea was good and for just under $4.

Because I had an early layover, I didn't get to eat before leaving Ashland. Looking around the airport, there wasn't much to choose from that looked appetizing. Since my gate was at the end of the A terminal, I decided to climb the mountain.It wasn't very busy so I took a table out in front. I would've rather had something from the lunch menu but they start at 10:30. So looking over the breakfast items, I chose the Santa Fe omelette without bellpeppers. When it came out, the omelette was hidden under a ton of salsa and a mound of sour cream. Commercial grade fried potatoes came with and a slice of sourdough toast. The potatoes could've been better, like add some onions and spices. The omelette was decent and the reason for the three stars is that the chicken was tender and flavorful. Also the service was friendly and attentive.Next year, I'll see if this Adriana is working and sit at the bar! LOl!

Wow. So unfortunately we stopped here as it's at the end of concourse A with no other options close by to eat. I looked at all the one star reviews and was like, nah. Turns out they were true. Don't eat any food here. And if you drink they will rip you off on that too! Got a Moscow mule, almost no vodka in it so when I got another one I asked for a shot on the said not knowing they would charge me $12 for a single shot of well vodka!!' Wtf!? Avoid this place at all cost. Just don't go.

The food is really bad. I ordered a Caesar salad for $16 and it was just a lot of iceberg lettuce with a dusting of Parmesan cheese and a few croutons. I should have checked the other reviews before going in. Live and learn

Our server, Rachel, was excellent. Very tasty breakfast. Tables spaced nicely. Good alcoholic drink.

One of the worst meals I've had in 15 years within the continental U.S. French fries smelled like an ash tray, burger was stale, plus obnoxious patrons getting piss drunk. Do yourself a favor and stop at the Qdoba before you get to the end of the Delta terminal, otherwise this will be your only food option.

We enjoyed this restaurant. It was a bit of a hike, but this meant some open tables and quick service. We had burgers, fries, Caesar salad and ice tea. All hot, fresh, delicious and reasonably priced when compared to the airport competition. Pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. Service was very courteous and attentive. Also helpful - the owner kept the place open late to accommodate evening guests who were turned away at other restaurants that closed on schedule. One star removed due to plastic forks. Advice to the owner, go with metal utensils (except knives, of course) and ensure that your alcohol drink prices all beat the competition at least a little. We will definitely stop back in, as it's nice to have a place that serves good food and where service is pleasant and fast.  We were glad that we tried them, especially since we were starved and in a hurry.

Excellent service and good airport food. Sammie was great! Definitely worth the walk.

I would give this place ZERO star! We sat for 20 minutes waiting for our orders to be taken, the waitress walked right past us on purpose and took other people's orders, people who came after us! My husband came right up to the bar, the waitress said she'll be with us, but she continued serving other people! We were polite the whole time and I don't normally leave bad reviews but this was another level of bad service!

I came in just before they were ending breakfast service on a weekday morning. The restaurant was fairly quiet except for solo diners at the bar. I requested the western omelet made with egg whites and they were able to accommodate that after checking with the kitchen but they couldn't sub fruit for the potatoes. The omelet came out and was huge and well made. Everything was cooked well and the omelet was bursting with ingredients and cheese. I enjoyed the omelet but something did taste a little funky but I couldn't put my finger on it. Nothing exceptional, especially for the price, but decent airport food and okay service.
