OK I'm glad we were going for a company happy hour on a random day of the week without any ball games or any other sporting event going on. The restaurant is really nicely renovated, BUT there are several key issues. The benches are awful, how people supposed to sit there for more than an hour is beyond me. I'm glad they had some regular tables in the back, so we quickly moved. The noise level was already pretty up there and the place wasn't even half full. They did open the restaurant up completely, the old Rover was gigantic, but had dividing walls, corners and closed off areas (for groups), that made the space feel cozy and suitable for conversation. This is a "get drunk and yell at each other" kind of place, nothing I'm going to mark as a go-to favorite in the future. I assume it works, otherwise, they wouldn't have done it, but not my cup of tea. Let's get to the service and food. We only did appetizers and ordered a whole bunch of different ones, but they were all mostly delicious. Especially the giant pretzel, fries and the cheese curds were awesome, wings were not our favorite, but ok.They also got a good amount of beer to choose from and a full bar and cocktails. Service was great at our table, very quick and friendly. Parking is available down at the Marina for $1 per hour/4h max and very limited 2h street parking. I can see the parking being a huge problem on a sunny day, when the lots are filled with beach goers. Otherwise, no parking specific to the restaurant. I'm sure I'll be back at one point, but not on a game day, weekend or later in the evening when the place fills up. I'm hoping they are also going to put up some sound panels or smaller walls to contain the crazy loudness of the place and make seating more comfortable.

We went for Father's Day brunch a few weeks back, and it was our first time here. The place is pretty nice looking and our reserved table was a HUGE booth along one wall, which dwarfed our family of 4 but made us feel really cool.We started with a shared pretzel. It tasted really good! But, the inside was cold. Not just lukewarm but not frozen, but quite cold. It was a shame but also was a harbinger of things to come.My wife and kids received their dishes a couple of minutes before mine came out, so you'd think mine was probably made last, right? Nope. Cold. And all I got was a waffle, eggs and bacon. To be fair the waffle was warm and tasted great, but the eggs and bacon and breakfast potatoes were lukewarm. And cold-ish eggs are nasty. I did enjoy the waffle but was disappointed because it takes some real skill to ruin breakfast food.I wasn't going to say anything, but at the last minute I did let our server know about the issues. He was very apologetic and told us he would speak with the manager. I let him know I wasn't looking for a free meal, but I definitely wanted to give the kitchen my feedback, but they ended up comping most of our food, which was way more than I expected them to do. Kudos to them for that.On the note of service, our server was really cool, but we only saw him maybe twice throughout our meal there. He was all over the restaurant but not super attentive. It seemed busy when we first arrived but was half empty by the time we were done so I don't know that that is a great excuse. Overall I don't know if I'd recommend this place to someone else. Seems like a real hit or miss, but I hope they can get their act together because I'd like to see them succeed and I would love a reason to go back again.I'd probably round down to two stars but the fact they comped most of the meal at least saved our morning from being ruined.

Good brunch let down by sloppy service. The basic eggs/bacon/pancakes were good and met typical breakfast standards. The tots were super delicious and I'm not usually a tots fan. The Benedict's were good if not a tad too salty even by smoked salmon standards. Kudos on the Bloody Mary too. The let down was the service. Rookie mistakes like no silverware when the plates were served, no jam with the toast, and having to flag down servers for water, coffee refills, ordering, and bill paying. The place was uncrowded and plenty of servers but they seemed new to the industry. Hope they can quickly mature as we'd like to return.

Rating is based on their brunch service only. We went in for the grand opening of brunch, which given that it was the first day of serving brunch, we weren't expecting top tier anything. But what we got was even less than what we expected. First of all, it took forever. They had 3 servers for the entire place, and we were there before the crowd. By the time we actually got our food, it had been over half hour since we ordered. It took 20 mins from the time we received our drinks for our waitress to come back and take our food order. Watching them work, there's absolutely no direction. It's not like everyone had a quadrant, or a task, it was people ping ponging all over which lead to chaos. The food took forever to come (it was just eggs, bacon, and pancakes). The pancakes came completely raw inside. I'm not kidding. I lifted the pancake because I couldn't see any blueberries, and raw batter ran out of it. We let our waitress know when we saw her again, about 10 mins later, and it took another 20 mins to get two pancakes out. Their kitchen is a fucking mess with tickets, clearly. Because pancakes take under 10 mins to cook and should be a constant on the griddle. I was shocked. It was incredibly loud for a Saturday morning, but these places are usually like that given the food hall type vibe. The food was frankly not good, neither was the coffee. And the prices?? Wild. Even for Kirkland, I don't mind paying a good amount for breakfast if the food is good. This isn't. It sat like a rock in our stomachs the rest of the day. There are plenty of much better places for breakfast in Kirkland. I would be willing to come back and watch a game here. Can't say I'd eat!

Had an amazing Father's Day Brunch! Dad's got to keep the 1L mug! That was such a nice gesture. Had been once to the Yelp elite event here and loved it. Hubby loves German beers and couldn't think of a better place to celebrate. We did not have a reservation but we were able to get a table on the patio. Our waiter was the best. Brought me some samples of beers to help me pick the one I liked. And just as I thought, I didn't go with any of them. Saw someone drinking a Spritz and decided I wanted that. He gave me the option of Marina Spritz and I went with that. Same as regular spritz but blue in color. We ordered the hall pretzel that was delicious. The florentine Benny and the burrito were both fresh and scrumptious. A small order of fries on the side. Absolutely enjoyed the brunch here. We will be back soon!

Came here tonight and sat with friends out on the patio. I love the large patio and outdoor seating. We came in at about 4:30, it wasn't too busy but service was slow. It seemed like there was 1 server for the whole patio with a couple other people helping occasionally. It was kind of strange because it seemed like inside they had plenty of servers. We ordered food and drinks at the same time, the food came out so fast but weirdly it came out a while before the drinks. I don't love when food comes before drinks but usually it isn't an issue except with the slow service we never got a water refill so we were thirsty. We got the cheese curds and smash burgers. Out of the 2 of us who got smash burgers both of us were missing the pickles on our burgers which is my favorite part so that was disappointing but over all it was a really good burger. Crisp on the outside and flavorful, would get again. The cheese curds were okay, sweeter than I was expecting and I was hoping for a little spice but didn't seem like there really was any but they were still good. Several people around us got the soft pretzel and it looked great I definitely want to go back to try it. Overall it's a good spot but seems like they have a few things with service that could be improved but I definitely want to return to try some other items because the food was good! Potential to be a really fun spot!

Okay, what a nice fresh and open addition to DT Kirkland! This place is perfect for large gatherings, catching up or watching a game with friends. First, the staff are so kind and accommodating. We had such good service on our first visit.Second, the food is great! You have to grab a big pretzel (of course), the cheese curds are great and so are the beignets (dipping sauces are high key amazing). I don't eat much red meat and decided to go for it with the PB&J smash burger and it totally exceeded my expectations! The burger was so savory and juicy, I devoured the whole thing. Can't forget to mention how many good beers are on tap too!Def will be back to catch a game with friends.

This spot is so cool. I can see it becoming the most popular spot in Kirkland quickly, especially on big sport nights. The owners of Queen Anne Beerhall in Seattle also own this spot and you can tell. There are a lot of similarities between the two which is amazing since the Queen Anne Beerhall is such an iconic Seattle spot. We came for drinks and ended up ordering the beignets too. They came with three different dipping sauces - my favorite being the blackberry habanero jam. My fiancé really enjoyed the dulce de leche sauce, I personally thought it was a tad bit too sweet for my liking. The beignets aren't New Orleans beignets but they were still pretty good nonetheless. They have lots of beer and cider options on tap and I enjoyed the cider I ordered. They also have an espresso martini machine and luckily we were sitting at the bar in front of it when they were making another batch for it so I got to try a taste of it. For it being an on tap espresso martini, it was pretty good. Also a genius invention since I am sure they sell so many of them. Overall, I loved this spot. I'd like to come back and try more food options.

Very excited about the addition of Moss Bay Hall to Kirkland! We need more places to hang. Love that it's family friendly. We didn't try any food so my 4 stars is based on location, vibe, selection of beers and being a nice place to hang as a group. We will come back asap and try out the food and refresh our review. Welcome to the neighborhood!

Came here to watch the Kraken game as part of Yelp Elite event. To be honest this place is kinda cool..loved the ambience. Food can be hit or miss. To be honest most of their shareable were excellent. However I would not recommend their lemon pepper wings - they just make it over salty. I think they totally ruined it. However everything else was very good - loved the pretzels. The food is bit oily - so if you don't mind consuming 1000 calories, you will have a great time here. For drinks - I recommend trying blueberry beer. Feeling embarrassed I forgot the exact name
