Long wait? Okay! I don't care. It was worth it. The Art Deco decor and food were both amazing. We were able to bring our dog with us, but be warned: You can only sit at the countertop at the window if you bring your dog. She sat perfectly, and they brought her a bowl of water to chill. I mean... even our water was delivered in adorable glass tumblers and a water decanter. I don't know where to begin with the food. We ordered the Souffle pancakes, which have now changed my life, and I keep looking for them whenever I travel or near my home. I found one place, and they just weren't the same. We are big fans of chicken and waffles, so of course, we devoured those, and the American breakfast was cooked perfectly. I also ordered the Fried Rice to-go. There were only the two of us, and we ordered food like we hadn't eaten in years. Everything looked so good, we just couldn't make up our minds, so when in doubt, buy it out. I couldn't stop taking pictures of the aesthetic and wanted to walk the whole place. This is definitely a must-try if you're in the area. Just be sure to snack on something before you put your name on the list because the wait is always long, and they DO NOT TAKE RESERVATIONS OR CALL AHEAD. Which is a total bummer, especially considering we had just driven (3) hours to get there. Dine or Dash? Um hello? If I lived closer, I would be there every day.**This is also located on the 2nd floor, so stairs are required to enter or they have an elevator around the corner.**

Service- 4 starsBelgian waffle- 4 starsBaked French toast- 5 starsCrispy Hash browns- 4 starsVery eclectic and interesting decor, very long lines, even at 10:30 am on a weekday but I would come back. Food servers were in good spirits. There appeared to be no line at 12:00.

Service: 4/5Food: 3.5/5Ambiance: 2/5I will start off saying that I don't understand why a reservation system online doesn't exist. Waiting over an hour is just not worth it to me for any restaurant. My sister waited almost 3 hours to get us in here from her waiting in line then waiting once she got her name on the list. To me, if I was told the wait was more than 45 mins I would've left. But she's been wanting to take me here for months.Once we finally were able to be seated it was another 15 min wait for our table to be cleared. And then we were seated in a booth closer to the bathroom facing the kitchen. While the decor is fun the ambiance is just alright. The music is bumping and with the sound of everyone talking it's pretty loud; this isn't a place to bring a group to for a nice easy going brunch. You're kind of needing to speak up and almost yell to talk.Menu is honestly kind of hard to read it took me a longer than usual to really focus and read everything with all the designs going on. We were told it would be a 20 min wait for the German pancake which was fine by us. What's funny is the 3rd intricate dishes came out all together and it took another 10 minutes after they were served for my very simple American breakfast to finally come out. I've never seen a hash brown cooked like mine. I thought it was spam at first glance. It was still soft inside and buttery but a lot more crispy than traditional. I also asked our server for salt, pepper, and hot sauce to which she then went and talked to her co worker while cleaning silverware for almost 10 minutes and then came over with the items but by then I was almost done with my meal. Pretty strange.I just don't really understand the popularity of this restaurant. To me it's very overhyped and just not worth the wait. I understand lots of aesthetically motivated people enjoy this place and that's great! They're obviously very successful due to the long waits. However, While the meal was priced lower than I expected I know plenty of other brunch locations with better service, little to no wait, and much better tasting than this. Glad to finally get to try it but also very glad to now avoid this place for the future.

Came here on a Saturday at 10am, we were in this fast-moving line up the stairs. The restaurant seemed big, so I wasn't too worried. Then when I got to the hostess, they said it would be an hour to 1 hr 30 min wait. WHOA. I am from San Francisco, where we haven't done a line like that in years (last was probably Plow, at prime time). Anyway, we decided to come back another day. That another day was today on Sunday at 7:55 am. We figured we could make it in without a wait if we got there when it opened. Even after arriving at 7:55 am, there were at least 30 people in front of us!!!!! Madness. Luckily we were able to put our names down, and at 8:15 am when we reached the hostess, she told us we'd have to wait about 10-15 mins for our table, and she was right, we got seated around 8:30 am. Wow. Now for the food - honestly the food was good, but nothing really mindblowing. We ordered the Ginger Fried Rice to share, I ordered the Steak & Eggs, and my husband got the Lobster Omelette. We agreed that everything tasted good, but everything was quite average, really nothing super special. We also both agreed that if we had waited 1.5 hours in line for this place, we would have felt cheated and disappointed. That being said, for a 30 min wait, we thought it was fine, and we were glad that we tried the hype. The scene and ambiance was what I think is what makes the restaurant somewhat special. A lot of the furniture here is pink, bold, sexy and fun. It did feel dirty (as in pink banquette seating that turned brown because the restaurant has so many customers and the restaurant can't seem to keep up in cleaning it thoroughly), but it was fun. The music was really great - it was blasting like a club, 2000s hip hop/party music. This felt like a really fun place to come with friends (although small group of 4) who don't mind waiting in a 1.5 - 2 hour wait for plain brunch food. Service was really great, I will say. They were genuinely friendly, and they checked in on our food several times throughout the meal. I had ordered my steak for the steak & eggs dish medium rare, but it basically came rare. They came by to ask how things were going, and I asked to have it cooked a little longer (it was so rare I could barely cut it). They were so happy to redo it! It tasted a lot better when it came back. Also, they were very accommodating for our 14 month old toddler. They gave her the cutest dark pink Stokke high chair, were just so friendly with her overall, and offered plastic utensils and water cup, and scrambled eggs on the side. They definitely knew their clientele. They also had a nice changing table in the bathroom (not the kind that folds down, but one that is actually just sitting there at all times!!!). Amazing. Will I return? Possibly, if here with my girlfriends for a weekend. Would I recommend this to anyone visiting San Diego? Probably not, not worth your time. Did I have a good time? Somewhat, and I'm glad I did come here to try and understand the hype!

I had this place on my list for a while now so glad we made it in . There is always a line no matter what day or time . When u see the line that line will be to put your name on the waiting list then they will text u when to come back . The seating you get will be the next available so it could be the bar area also . After we got an estimate time we just went and walked around Little Italy enjoying the day the time went by pretty fast . Walking in this huge beautiful rooftop area the decor was bright and inviting I loved it . One thing I loved was the music whoever picked the playlist let me just say thanks you !! I loved the vibe and everyone here was super nice and attentive. Our waiter was Brie and she was juts amazing she made our experience memorable. For food we got the soufflé pancakes so delicious! We also got the Morning Glory Ginger Fried Rice, Dirty Hash Potatoes, and Jalapeño Glazed Bacon everything was super tasty. We also got a few drinks that were also very good . Overall this place checked out all of our boxes . we had a lovely time loved everything about it . I highly recommend it.

VIBES: 5/5FOOD: 4/5SERVICE: 3/5VALUE: 3/5A really cute, fun spot for the girlies and those who appreciate a curated vibe. It took a while (like 25 mins) just to get through the line to put our names on a table, but once you do, you can walk around until you get a text your table is ready. We had a party of 7 on Sunday at 11 am and it took 45 mins for the table to be ready. Probably an hour altogether! They gave us a free lil champagne shot for our celebrating bachelorette which was fun. The service was slow, but friendly and everyone had a fun vibe. I loved the app cart -- we got deviled eggs and they were good, but a bit stew at $3 each. The soufflé pancakes were exceptional, just get. The omelette was fine, nothing extraordinary. I heard the hashbrowns are great. I also was meh about my cocktail, the orange joolius. All in all, great vibes. I'd go back just for that and the soufflé pancakes, but not anytime soon.

First time here and I was blown away of the interior of the restaurant . It's so vibrant. The fried rice with eggs with pretty tasty and filling for sure. The vegan bowl is alright wish they had more options. The regular pancakes aren't good and very basic but the fluffy pancakes are great! And any drink you have will be great, from coffee to cocktails to zero proof they got it.There is a wait most days though so plan on getting there early or wait an hour or two.

Yeeup. Cannot say enough positive things about morning glory. Totally worth the wait, totally worth the hype. Simply from an experience standpoint, everything from great service, to star branding, unique tableware, and a dimsum breakfast trolly, Morning glory checks all the right spots. Open air atmosphere and a great place to any amount of time. All the food was great and every dish knocked it out of the park. The Khachapuri (even amongst many great dishes) was out of this world (In a good way )

Great service - great vibe. Lobster Benedict was to die for. Get there early unless you want to stand forever in line (was a 3 hour wait when we left)! I'll be back for sure!
