This was my first time trying Thai hot pot, and it was absolutely delicious! Portion size was perfect for one hungry person, with really good cuts of meat, really fresh veggies, and a perfect Tom Yum broth. I'm definitely looking forward to trying a few other broths in the future. Restaurant was not crowded at all and I got seated as soon as I got there. Staff was also super friendly. Overall I highly recommend and I will be going back to try more!

Food - the hot pot here was really quite reasonably priced and had a good selection and quality. They also had about 8 different broth bases to choose from with at least 3 vegetarian options! They also had vegan and gluten free options too. I appreciated the MF Combo with a bunch of veggie and noodles for $10 and the split pot option to get two different broths. We also had the quail egg wontons, which were awesome! The drinks were decently unique, but I think more aesthetically pleasing than particularly flavorful, so they were fine. The mini flan and the boba tea were excellent. I would come back just to try the flan (life changing) if I wasn't already sold on the hot pot and small plates. Service - they were super friendly and attentive. The bartender seemed to know quite a few people that came in and would chat with folks. He checked in regularly with us too. Ambiance - it's super busy and you probably need a res (by phone only) if you come at 5 or after. We did not but got lucky coming in early and grabbing a seat at the bar. The music was nice and the decor and set up were cozy and fun. I would definitely bring friends or family here, but also a cute date night option too. We will totally come back here again!

Morfire has great service and the staff was really friendly checking in on us. The restaurant is cozy and has all you need set up on the table. The menu is easy to navigate and all you have to do is mark on the paper menu what you would like to order. Suki nam Tom yum: loved that this individual hot pot had a variety of ingredients and glass noodles soaking in the broth. For tom yum, I think the broth was a little light in flavor and wished there was more spice or sourness to it. Definitely used some of the dips on the table for the meats.Suki hang: our favorite dish of the night. Very flavorful and came out hot! We got this with chicken and it was very tender and also great with some of the sauces

LOVE this place so much! It's in Capitol Hill so parking is not the easiest. We were able to park in a lot that wasn't too far from the restaurant. This is a small establishment and they have a website with a well versed menu. They HIGHLY recommend reservations due to limited few seating. Ricky was friendly on the phone. They have to take your name, best phone number to reach at and a credit card #. The credit card is taken in case you do not show up. If you don't show up, they will automatically charge $25 per person. Better to call and let them know you will be late etc. When we had arrived, they had my name on chalkfor our table :) Ambiance is nice! They have a bar and bar seating too. Morfire means "hot pot" in Thai -- at least that is what our waitress/host said. They had these quail egg wontons that were super delicious! I love quail eggs. I would love to try their family hot pot style next time but I got an individual hot pot. It was the herby one -- which they said they won't be continuing bc it's not as popular. I honestly LOVED the broth bc it was tamarind with a kick and reminded me of my moms dish, Sinigang. It was an herby kind of hot pot, pork and beef, with greens! My boyfriend had a noodle dish that had a bit of a curry flavor to it. Their sauces are amazing! They have it on your table along with ponzu sauce. Highly recommend the sesame and Morfire sauce! Our waitress and host was super friendly! I brought my Polaroid camera and she took a picture of us

Check out this small but lovely place that will warm your belly. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. The staff were attentive and helpful. The food was exactly what I wanted. My daughter gave her soup a ten out of ten. She couldn't stop smiling. On a cold winter day the steamy tables were so inviting. We will definitely be back.Thank you!!

Morfire is a solid spot! I especially love that they source their meats locally. The flavors were not as strong as we'd hoped though. Not the most authentic dishes but also nothing to complain about. Service was attentive, place kept clean.

Morfire was a very nice find and was honestly a great hotpot experience for the price that it was. Upon entering, the owner of the store and the servers were super friendly and would help set up/teach people who have never been to hotpot on how to properly cook the food. The inside was slightly chilly, but that was made up when we got the hotpot going and all the steam filled up the area. Because of the holiday season, it was decorated very cutely :)For food, my boyfriend and I got a good array of meats and veggies for a reasonable price - about what you would pay at other ayce places and similar quality as well. Personally, I really like their herbal and Tom kha broths! The mix between the coconutty Tom kha and the more straightforward herbal broths were superb.I think what sets this place apart from other hotpot places is the choice to do the hotpot as family style or individual. Most places I know usually have one or the other, so it's nice that you can change what style you get depending on the company you're with. Definitely a great place for family, friends, first dates, etc.

Really enjoyed my experience here. I wasn't feeling hot pot so I got a noodle dish which was really great. My friend for a individual hot pot and it was the perfect portion and delicious. I would definitely come back for group hot pot with more people. There are lots of great appetizers and a wide variety of items and much more than a hot pot spot. Parking in the area isn't terrible but it is street parking. Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend.

Came here with my friend to do some catch up when I was visiting Seattle. We were craving something filling but healthy. What else would there be but hot pot!? To be honest, it wasn't the perfect weather for it, but it was still really good. PROS:- waste not want not: you order your hot pot ingredients in advance by checking them off a list. This helps eliminate food waste :) and also you can add more food if you're still hungry!- dual pot: some places only do the single pots, but I really like how we could try two different soup bases. - great flavors in the soups- great service for refills of the soups as well (we didn't have to ask for it or ask for water)CONS:- could have a little bigger selection of items on the hot pot ingredient list. - some of these servings are on the smaller end than what I'm used to.All in all, it's not a bad place for hot pot. I would definitely come here again especially since its close by to where my friends are. Sometimes convenience of location really makes a difference! We did come towards the later part of the night so there wasn't too many patrons remaining - i can't much for service during peak hours on that note.

I had a pleasant experience at Morfire and think this is a great place to have dinner with friends on a Saturday night. The ambience was great for conversation--background hum of a busy restaurant but also not too loud so that you'd have to raise your voice. The food was presented beautifully and really yummy. I had the Suki Nam Herbal individual pot, which was essentially a sour and slightly spicy soup that came with meat and glass noodles. The hot broth was invigorating for a cold day in Seattle. Would recommend if you're looking for something satisfying and nutritious for dinner!
