Morfey's Cake

I didn't order a cake but had their cupcakes and it was exquisite!! They were flavorful, moist, and delicious! The red velvet was my favorite. I came in a weekday right after lunch and they were already almost out, so be sure to come in early!The lady who helped me was also very, very friendly and I would love to come back when I'm in the area again in the future!

I called and ordered a small cake for my son who is studying at UW and celebrating his first birthday away from home. They made a great cake and arranged for it to be delivered to his dorm on campus without any issues.

Visiting from California, I planned a weekend getaway in Seattle for my girlfriend's birthday. I had called numerous cake shops & bakeries in the weeks leading up to the trip, with always something holding my shop selection back (pricing, turnaround time, availability, etc.). With the trip in just a week's time & slight panic setting in, I finally caught a break by discovering Morfey's.Impressed with her designs on Instagram, I called & spoke with Erin on a Tuesday & requested a birthday cake for my girlfriend to be ready by Saturday. She gladly accepted my request without hesitation despite the short turnaround. It sounded busy in the background on the phone, but she was patient with me, gave some recommendations, & was just generally helpful (this was the first time I had ordered a custom cake). In the end, she delivered & then some, at a very good price compared to the other in the area bakeries I called, & most importantly - it tasted delicious.Can't recommend this shop enough & highly recommend if you are looking for a custom cake in a jiffy!

When Marie Antoinette said let them eat cake. This is who she had in mind. Everyone else? Off with there heads!

Erin was so friendly and accommodating. The cupcakes I ordered were beautifully decorated and, more importantly, deliciously light and tasty. I wish I'd thought to take a photo.

Morfey's is the best!! I'd gotten cupcakes here before and enjoyed them so 2 days before my birthday, I decided I wanted a cake after all and gave Morfey's a call. I left a voicemail in the morning and Erin called me back within the hour. She was enthusiastic and affirming (despite my tight timeline), providing suggestions and guidance for flavors and design, and 5 minutes later the cake was ordered. I came to pickup 2 days later and my almond cake with strawberry filling was perfect and beautiful. Everyone who tasted it asked where I got it! Morfey's is now my go-to for cakes in Seattle.

Morfey's Cake is the best cake place in Seattle period. I've been going there for years now & never disappoints. The lady who bakes up everything is so nice. She does birthday cakes, wedding cakes, cupcakes, all kinds of cakes. If I saysomething is the best....you can take that to the bank!!!!

I had our wedding cake made for us at Morfey's Cake, and we were extremely pleased by the experience and result! They're a busy business, so we did give Morfey's ample time when booking our tasting and reserving the cake, and it all went smoothly!We called ahead and made the cake tasting appointment in advance, and had a fun time tasking cake samples (with coffee!) with Erin, and going over designs. We'd looked at Morfey's website and Instagram beforehand so had a good sense of what we wanted. We decided to buy our own cake toppers, but had Morfey's make the sugar flowers for us.Because we were getting married in Seattle and our cake was relatively small, we elected to pick up the cake ourselves and deliver it to save on the delivery fee. Made the reservation, the cake was ready on time, and it was well packaged for travel (it was defintely a 2 person job, even with our smaller cake, so bring someone if you decide to deliver it yourself).And wow, we were overjoyed by how beautiful the cake looked! It impressed our guests and was a beautiful decoration on the day of the wedding. And it tasted so good! It was delicious, flavorful, moist - some of the best cake I've had! We loved it!We're definitely going to use Morfey's for special occasion cakes in the future! Thanks Erin for making our wedding day that much more special!

My wife tried to ask about cake by phone and in person , and I realize we have a short turn around time, but we were exploring options, and being told a simple no in response would have been useful. Whoever was in the shop today was rude in response to my wife asking questions, it was not professional behavior. Based on this interaction I don't think we could recommend anyone try to deal with a business with employees that give so much attitude.

Morfey's Cakes has been our go to for event cakes for years. From our wedding to birthdays or just because, Erin does a beautiful job and they taste A-mazing! We had her make the cake for our daughters 16th Birthday. She took our design ideas and the finished product was fantastic. We will be Morfey's customers for life.
