Moray's

I've been to many bars, and have to say that the staff and drink selection at Moray's is outstanding! I normally dont order to many drinks off the menu when I go to bars. Like most people I have a particular drink I like to stick with. However Moray's drink selection always suprises me. They a drink selection for every type of drinker. From a tropical rum flavored speaks to the refreshing summer vodka drinks.But what really makes this place special is the staff. I always like to experiment in making new variations of drinks. Some bartenders will not be far kind and patient when it comes to me playing mad scientist with a drink. But the staff here has no problems and even plays along with my concoctions. One such Bartender is Joanna. Not only is she knowledgeable about the drinks she was even kind enough to work with me on the drink that I intended to have for the majority of my stay. Not only did she not complain or get annoyed with me deciding on different ingredients, she gave me advice on what might taste better.All in all Moray's is a great experience for any bar goer.

While the location and the bay views were great, the food really fell short of expectations. I got a ceasar salad with chicken-- it was incredibly bland and I worried that the chicken was undercooked. My family members also didn't enjoy the plates they ordered (ranging from sushi to flatbreads). Another thing: the dishes came out at staggered times, so we didn't even get to eat together. I wouldn't dine here again.

Good: The location to either the bay or beach is perfect. The venue opens up to views of the water/bay with live music (mostly weekends) and fire tables for evening hours. Not So Good: We ordered the Pita starter and was a great portion of spreads, Pita Chips not so much ($16.50). Additional Pita Chips are a up charge and never came from either the server or manager after repeated requests. The manager even brought regular chips as a apology, but never brought the pita chips back. Also were charged for another round of Pita Chips.I ordered the burger ($19.50) and would have expected a bit more for the cost, at least hand cut fresh fries, and not frozen bagged from Sysco. The last entree we ordered was The Seared Tuna Salad (less cost then the burger), but again this came about 1 hour after we ordered, without repeated asking of the staff it may have never come.Seems like they have plenty of staff, host, food and beverage runners, at the time two (2) front of the house managers. Even with a POS system, we were asked 5x if this was our food. We will not be back for dinner, maybe happy hour is better time to visit. Plenty of great dining spots In Mission Beach and PB that top this place.Thanks,Chris

LOVE. You feel like you are on vacation.... I live local and come here for a stay-cation feel. The food is great. They have gluten free and vegetarian options labeled on the menu. I love their sushi and my bestie loves their cheese burger and cheese pizza. I love sitting on the patio.

Nice ambiance with both indoor "pub/bar" area, and outside, fire pit table overlooking the water area. A few really good beers on tap and a talented bartender who made us a really nice tropical fruit drink. We tried a shrimp flatbread off the happy hour menu. Even though they only put one small shrimp on each of the 6 squares, it was still tasty. Since we're staying at the resort, this is a convenient and hip place to hangout.

Nice place. Inside the hotel, ordered food and drinks while heading back to San Francisco, after staying at the hotel for a work offsite. Burger was delicious and fries were tasty. The passion fruit margarita was very good!

This place can be really hit or miss depending on the season or the server....Tonight, it was awesome because of Amber. Super on it, smiling the whole time!

Not impressed. Absolutely no service skills. It's over priced and the employees have way morethings to do rather than serving you. Go somewhere else.

I'm honestly just beside myself. I expected to pay an inflated price due to the location, but when I ordered a Caesar Salad for $16.75 + tax and was brought what the server said was a "side salad," I thought it was a joke. I confirmed with the server if that was the one from the menu and she said Yes. I've attached a photo of the menu and the salad. I did have two bites before I thought to take the photo, but you get the idea. Maybe I'm not as "cultured" as I had imagined lol but this seems criminal to me.

We live here in San Diego and we've come to this beautiful restaurant / bar a lot ! The ambiance is amazing! Love the sound of the waterfall. You feel like you are in Hawaii ! The service is great very friendly and welcoming
