Must say went here for couple bday dinners and i like the seaport location better than their original downtown.Parking is in the backside of the building (paid lot) if you can't snag a street meter.Once upstairs, you check in and the staff has always been nice. It's got a lively atmosphere, sometimes we have to up our level of volume for us to hear eachother. We typically get the panko crusted onion rings that has parm on it with a tomato aioli. Always crispy never mushy when we ordered. The friends also like the roasted garlic shrooms (I'm not much of a shrooms person) for apps as well.Truffle fries, lobster mac cheese (usually could use a bit more seasoning imo) and tater tots are good sides. We typically order the prime bone-in ribeye which always is cooked to temp, we only had one time it was a tad over. Nice crust nice flavor and juicy. Definitely shareable (2 of us share it at times). We also occasionally order the filet, it's always been pretty spot on med-rare. Always afraid ordering medium it'll go over and with a lean steak that's not fun. They have plenty of drinks, full bar so they pretty much can make whatever you want to drink. Will be back again to this location, cleaner, faster service and better ambiance i think then downtown.

We were staying down town and for some reason when I made reservations it was for September so I changed it to the seaport which had the time slot I was looking for. I am glad I did, they weren't packed and the waitress was phenomenal. She gave a lot of ideas and recommendations which I like when I go to a restaurant out of town to see what people like to order. She recommended the boan marrow which was outstanding and I wanted the wedge salad because I like trying everyone's so i know if it was good or not and this one had the perfect amount of crumbled blue cheese and dressing. I have to say it's one of my favorites. I had the age dried ribeye and it was cooked perfectly and was flavorful and there was a sauce that came with it and that was good. The life of me I can't remember what it was called. The lobster Mac and cheese was delicious. My wife had the Branzino which is a white fish with brown butter, she really liked it. They had a crowd and it was a nice restaurant and management check on you which is a plus. I would definitely go back when I go back to Boston.

What a beautiful restaurant!I felt like I drove from New York, threw my stuff into my hotel room and ran to Mooo... (How many dots are there in the title?)Somehow I drove to Boston while they're still having a wicked winter in April. I'm cold and wet, I check in with the hostess stand and I want to get into a nice Bourbon Cocktail as soon as possible. First off, what is with these prices?! Everything is priced, I think even higher than New York City. An Iceberg Wedge is $23 bucks?? The funny part is, the place was packed out on a Wednesday night.I read the menu online so I know what I want to order, there are two Sirloin Steaks on the menu, grass fed and prime. I want to see what my waiter is going to say so I chill. Speaking of, there is no description of how the meat is sourced at Mooo. Is it USDA Prime beef? Is there an aging process? How are the steaks cooked? The website says Chef/Owner Jamie Mammano uses his culinary expertise to create classic, yet modern steakhouse dishes. Great! I still want to know about the steaks. A waiter comes to the table and drops off four hot Parker Rolls. Next, my waiter comes to the table. I order a glass of Rioja, a side of Broccolini and I said Sirloin Steak. Very good sir.$59 for both Sirloin steaks, I'm not sure what he told the kitchen but it would have been nice to know more about the steak cut.My wine? PerfectionThe Broccolini? It has charred bits on top that made this very cravable. Now add the Spicy Calabrian Chili & Garlic? Incredible chef'd up side dish. The Sirloin? Cooked to perfection. That's the great thing about a Sirloin, it's a nice big cut to fill your belly. There was also a Sirloin with au poivre, I wasn't in the mood to have something too peppery. The herb butter that came with the steak, I laid on the flavor! Very good. One of the Sirloins that was served to me, the chef cooked it just right. Overall, I had an enjoyable meal. After dinner, I'm shown a dessert menu. My hotel is close to The North End and Modern Pastry is calling me.Mooo...? I had a great meal but in all honesty, I would of liked to drink a beer at the bar and have a chef'd up Mooo.. Burger. Can you work on that Chef/Owner Jamie Mammano?

Easily a 4 star restaurant with one criticism for the uncomfortable feeling I had of meeting the hostess timeline she emphasized, of needing the table back at a specific time. I called for a same day reservation to arrive by 5:30 with a party of four. The hostess was great and accommodated with the caveat that the table must be returned by 7:30. Unfortunately my full party arrived late because there is another MOO restaurant that they ended up going to. Two of us ordered appetizers but naturally waited to order food with the others. For the caliber of the restaurant, I just don't expect to be told you need a table back by a specific time if I'm spending $200 plus dollars for two, at a table of four. The restaurant is on a quiet street, has valet, but parking on the street is residential only. The inside is modern, bathrooms located down the stairs from the restaurant so plan accordingly, and the staff was friendly without hovering and were available when needed. The food was very good! I'd drive the 2 hours to come back for the steak. Had the lobster mac which was good but a tad bit too al dente. The calamari was seasoned well and the sauces it came with were a good accompaniment. The Wellington was stuffed with a large piece of mushroom and the foie gras and spinach. The Wellington steak was cooked nicely but the large piece of mushroom and foie gras made the dough soggy and took away from the steak. Another at my table loved it just as it was (it was her first beef Wellington). It is a solid Wellington just not my guest's favorite ever. Still good just not great. As we were coming up on our timeline to hand the table over we didn't get the chance to have dessert but I asked if we could stay and they did say it was ok and gave us menus. But since I made an agreement, I honored it and we left just after 7:30. I'd go back.

I'm not a huge steak person but I'd rate this place as definitely worth a special occasion. The inside is classic steakhouse decor, all dark mood lighting and wood paneling. Here were my favorites: 1. Parker house rolls that they start you off at the beginning. 5/5. 10/10. So, so hard to resist filling up on these before all the other dishes start rolling out. This was perhaps the best bite of the night. 2. East coast oysters: super fresh and large. My heart hurts when ordering oysters at such a premium because there are some good $1 oyster specials and it's not too much work/expensive to buy a bunch and shuck yourself, but these were excellent. 3. Roasted mushrooms side: super decadent and rich. Everything else we ordered was incredible and reflected extensive attention to detail - for instance, the Caesar had these beautiful garlic croutons and generous sheets of Parm, while the complimentary dessert made in-house were these pretty dark-chocolate covered marshmallows with a graham cracker bottom. The octopus app had neat little roasted slivers of tomato and potato that rivaled the octopus itself. Things I would skip next time: the creme brûlée. I was stuffed beyond measure but still wanted something sweet. It was good but I was too full to truly appreciate it; plus, they give you a free sweet bite. I would definitely sit at the bar and get the burger. Plus the fries. PARKING: Unless you have a parking permit, there are virtually no street options; we spent a long time circling around the restaurant before giving up and parking in a lot about 10 minutes away.

Absolutely delicious! Very romantic vibes as they keep the entire restaurant very dim. The food was absolutely incredible and the waiter was fantastic! There is a parking lot near by, so easy to commute to and it is in Seaport, so nice area to walk around after dinner. I forgot to take pictures but highly recommend the side flight (includes creamed spinach, mashed potatoes, truffle fries, and mushrooms) and the milk and cookies for dessert!

The experience at Moo... was overall wonderful! The ambiance is very trendy, clean, and up to tasteful. Our service was kind and very attentive, but the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I'be honestly had better food at restaurants for half the price. That being said, the lobster bisque itself was unbeatable. Truly to die for and everyone wanted more. If you go here, make sure that everyone gets their own bowl of it. Fan favorite! The grilled octopus was so dry and flavorless I would definitely recommend avoiding it. The Filey Mignon carpaccio on the other hand was good, and I would potentially order it again. I had the sea bass ceviche as a main instead of an app because the bisque was very filling, and I thought it was delicious. If you're eating light, I'd recommend it! Some friends got the steak and said it was a good steak, nothing crazy but definitely the kind of leftovers you'd take home at least. To end it, the bananas foster was exceptional, and if you're debating over dessert, i'd definitely swing for that option!

42nd Wedding anniversary and I must say it was a disappointing experience. The ambience is just ok with industrial lighting across the street not very conducive for fine dining. The noise level was extremely loud and energetic. The evening began w/ a Negroni along with/ a strawberry swing. For appetizers we ordered steak tartare which was just outstanding and dumplings which were good, but nothing special.Entrees were a ribeye and a NY sirloin steak along w/ a bernaise sauce and mashed potatoes. The sirloin had excellent flavor. You would have expected the ribeye to have had more flavor, but that was not the case. The sides of mashed potatoes and the bernaise sauce were great! The ribeye was returned for a sirloin. For after dinner, tea, cappuccino, dessert consisting of bananas foster w/ butter cake was split along w/ grand marnier ( a very stingy pour). The Maitre' D along w/ the server arrived w/ a piece of chocolate cake and let us know that the dessert, and the grand marnier were on the house. The thoughtfulness and generosity was greatly appreciated.I however would not rush back. Just a note. The restaurant is on the second floor from the lobby so for handicap access, there is an elevator. The button to close the door however was broken so you are on your own waiting for the door to close.
