If you have been searching for Chicago's best breakfast sandwich I have great news for you- the search ends here. The english muffin sandwich weighs about a pound, is the perfect mix of hearty and decadent with a beautiful chimichurri to brighten it up and is priced super reasonably at $11.50- my husband and I literally split one it's so massive. The coffee is great too- don't worry that the food steals the show. Aesthetically the cafe is cute with a handful of seats inside and some outdoor seating as well, and the team working seem to know everyone coming in and have a great repertoire. I'll probably be a regular here too soon enough!Incredible. 10/10. I can't rave about this enough.

Food was good! We both got a different bagel sandwich, the BEC (bacon, egg, cheese with spicy aioli) then Brad. They had a few seats outside so we brought our dog. There's some seating inside as well at the counter and few tables. It is pretty pricey so for that reason don't know if I'd come back - we got the two bagel sandwiches and one small iced coffee (not a speciality drink) and it was $37 (without tip). I was expecting it to be $30-32 max, but there's an added fee that they don't tell you about. A little too expensive for me for what it was.

This is the sexiest runny egg breakfast sammich in town. If you get it, you won't believe they were able to get it that runny. Dip your brioche in yolk and it's properly seasoned. Do spicy aioli with overeasy eggs and pick two proteins. Only do this if you can handle it. It slaps and you will ko for a bit. Lots of yum here folks.

This is a pleasant little cafe I'd never been to before. From the menu, it looked like they had breakfast options, but I was strictly there for coffee. Once I stepped up to the counter, I saw that they had donuts as well. I was kinda surprised that I paid $14 for a 12-oz drip and 2 plain donuts. It wasn't until I looked at the receipt that I saw they were Do-Rite donuts. I don't live anywhere near this shop so I can't say if I'll visit again but it's nice to know they have Do-Rite donuts available so I don't have to go downtown for those.

We came here for a quick bite to eat and for some coffee. We decided to dine in. The owners and the staff here were great. They were very welcoming and made sure we were satisfied. They thanked us for stopping in and had smiles throughout our meal. They have a pretty big menu with plenty of coffee and breakfast & lunch offerings. My wife ordered their Dark Matter drip coffee and I ordered their iced coffee and their "The Brunch" breakfast sandwich. It came with lox in a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese, tomatoes, capers, cucumber salad and lemon vinegar. The sandwich was pretty big with everything ingredient working perfectly together. It came with plenty of lox and it tasted fresh. I would definitely order this again, but I would also like to try a few of their other offerings. I will definitely be returning.

New favorite breakfast sandwich in Chicago! Although it is on the pricier side, I will definitely be back. The sandwich combos are so carefully curated and so delicious. They even bring their bagels from New York! They are known for their moonwalker sandwich and it did not disappoint - so delicious, especially with the ham instead of sausage. The specialty coffees were also great. The banana bread latte was my personal favorite, it had a very natural and accurate flavor. Service was phenomenal- very friendly & gave great suggestions. You will have to wait sometime for your food, but worth it, trust me. We got our coffee pretty quickly. Very cute shop to eat at or take out. Less than 15 seats total in the cafe and a few two-person tables outside; I would not recommend it for larger parties.

What a delightful cafe with a delicious breakfast sandwich and gluten free options! The staff including the owner were an absolute joy to chat with. Definitely going to stop by again while I'm staying in the area.

This little cafe is fantastic. Good coffee drinks and an excellent staff keeping up with a pretty busy demand on a Sunday morning. The moonwalker is more than a sand ice--it's a handheld walking breakfast. The pictures in another review brought me in, but having it in person is what will bring me back!

Stopped in for a bite as we were driving through the area and the spot we wanted was already closed for the day. This place had some good reviews so we thought we'd give it a try. It's small inside with limited seating but it wasn't a problem since it was later in the afternoon. We placed our order and sat down. Our food was made to order and it came out pretty quick. I ordered the Moonwalker with my egg over easy runny. When I opened my wrapper, the egg yolk had already leaked all over the wrapper and my sandwich was covered with the runny yolk. Luckily I had the napkin dispenser right in front of me. It was quite messy to eat. My sandwich was good but I've had better. The ham and cheese croissant we ordered looked good and my kids enjoyed it. My husband also agreed his sandwich wasn't worth $15.Now comes the reason for 2 stars. We bought 3 sandwiches and our bill came out to $44. At $11.50 a sandwich the bill should have been under $40. Since I wasn't given a receipt, I had to ask at the counter why the bill was so high. The gentleman behind the counter told me there was a service fee and taxes. $9 worth? I mentioned it would be good to have it displayed somewhere and he pointed to a small sign that basically said there would be a service fee, no exact amount though. So I mentioned it would be good to have the amount written on there so people know in advance but he said it varies from order to order. So that means a percentage of the bill? Well if I do the math, that was a 15% service fee. Wow. No wonder why they don't want to display it. We cleaned up after ourselves and left. The funny thing is they also have a tip jar at the counter. I was going to leave something in the jar but after learning of the hefty service fee, I had to change my mind. They are cashless so there's no option to even pay with cash to avoid the service fee. If you are asking customers to pay this service fee, might I suggest a box for the sandwich? That way the egg yolk may not get smashed in the wrapper and become a runny mess. In this day and age I understand things have gotten more expensive, but now we are paying for higher prices and additional service fees on top of tipping at some places. Judging from some of the reviews I read after we left, I was not the only customer caught off guard with a high bill. Unfortunately I can't imagine this business growing as most people won't be able to afford a meal here. The other sandwiches they offered were $15 and higher, making them more like $19+ sandwiches before even adding a drink. But best of luck to them. We won't be back.
