The coffee is great and so are the cinnamon rolls! Fun atmosphere and decent WiFi. Although the liquor license sign is a little distracting.

I enjoyed this new addition to the area. It's a cute place to grab drinks and dinner, although their food menu isn't huge. The vibe is general Italian American inspired. They serve a predictable lineup of bruschetta, sandwiches, and a couple salads. I enjoyed the melon and prosciutto salad, and my friend had a sandwich. I was surprised it wasn't served hot or toasted, but the side of soup is a nice touch. They also have a deal on bruschetta and a bottle of wine on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Their drinks are named after a dominant ingredient/flavor, which is a fun motif. If the bartender warns you the Juniper is spirit forward, she's not kidding. The Coconut is fruity and sweet, and my friend and I both loved the Lavender. Presentation is simple but cute, and the decor is adorable. There are choices for vegetarians, although I wouldn't recommend this spot to someone gluten-free. Service was really attentive. The prices (and the parking situation) are on par for downtown. I intend to return for cocktails again!

This new little stop in downtown Phoenix has already gone through a change of ownership over the course of a few months. Still, they have a lot of good going on for them. They are a coffee bar throughout the day, but they also have a light bites menu and bar service that runs later than the old version of this place. I went on a Wednesday and took advantage of the $25 special for a bottle of wine and a bruschetta board. (This runs Wednesdays and Thursdays, at least for now.) With a small group, we ended up with two bottles of prosecco and two boards: a traditional tomato-mozzarella-pesto bruschetta and a brie-apple-pine nut one. The brie one actually surprised me with how delicious it was. It was undoubtedly a great deal, and I liked the atmosphere of this place. Also, the patio was dog-friendly, and they were super friendly to my friend's pooch.

So let me just start by saying this place is super cute, and I'm sure their coffee drinks are amazing.. but the matcha is absolutely AWFUL, it's definitely not a good quality ceremonial grade matcha. I drove 45 minutes after seeing videos about their matcha. I told the girl helping me at the front that and she let me know that they had recently changed their matcha. I went ahead and ordered my normal matcha latte and it came out a muddy yellow/brown/green. If you are a true matcha fan you know any matcha drink should be vibrant green. I knew immediately I would not like it. After a few sips I can confirm it's terrible. Probably the worst I've had in AZ so far. It's disappointing such a nice coffee shop would use such low quality matcha. I would give this place another try for their coffee drinks but this is definitely not the place to get matcha from. The girl at the front was very sweet though, and the ambiance is cool!
