For all the naysayers who gave Moonsun 1 star, I say you don't get out enough maybe you should dine in sushi instead of carrying out or having food delivered. These are not books you bought from Amazon, this is food that has very delicately prepared food. I mean who carries out sushi anyway? As someone who considers themself a purveyor of sushi restaurants, I'm always looking for a new venue!All I have to say is the sushi was fresh, the rolls were quite creative, and the pieces of sashimi were above average in size.The staff were friendly, and I will be back again when I'm in the neighborhood.

A three is where you land when it's not great and not bad. I ordered through Uber eats during my business trip and what I will confirm is that I'm no longer hungry, I'm not excited to return. I ordered two rolls, the Chicago fire and spicy tuna dragon roll, knowing I would likely dislike one and tolerate the other. The spicy tuna roll did not have a single flavor that I want to remember. The Chicago fire roll was much better, but would be best without so much cream cheese.

Service was awesome. She was efficient with a great attitude. Prices were affordable; very appropriate for the quality of sushi. All the raw food was fresh, presented very well.Ordered the crab rangoon and sushi rolls. Hated the crab rangoon, they were too sweet for me. They came with a sweet and sour type of sauce which didn't do much for the sweetness. The rolls were amazing though. We had the Philadelphia, the Volcano, the Boston, the Crazy Chicago, and the Country Dragon roll. Least favorite was the Boston roll due to the mayo drop of top and my favorite was the Volcano. It was packed with flavor and the eel/spicy mayo on top was a nice touch. Would return again for the rolls any day, especially if I'm craving sushi. Hope to see you at the neighboring booth.

I ordered 4 rolls to go. I went with the Rock, Wasabi, Volcano and Jenny roll. For 4 rolls, it was $45. I know sushi is expensive, but this was really expensive for the small portions. The rolls were only 5 pieces. I did not know this. If I would have, I would have skipped this place. I will say, the quality of fish is good. My favorite was the Jenny roll. Unfortunately, I don't think I will return though. I was left hungry and feel as though this sushi spot is way overpriced. I'll be sticking with my other local sushi spots.

This small restaurant has quite an expansive menu of Chinese and Japanese dishes. I ordered the Country Dragon roll, a unique blend of crispy and creamy, and my dining companion got the chicken lo mein Our waitress was very friendly, checked with the chef in regard to some dietary restrictions, and made helpful suggestions. The ambiance is very festive, hung with lanterns and faux wisteria of pink, white and purple. Overall, a nice local spot for Asian food favorites!

This was my first visit to Moonsun Sushi!We chose to have my mother's 92nd birthday celebration at Moonsun Sushi on my sister's recommendation.The dining room is clean, inviting and pleasantly decorated. I wasn't sure about the food since they advertise Sushi (Japanese), Chinese and Thai. Nothing to be concerned about!All but one of the items ordered were outstanding! I ordered Beef Chow Fun, WOW, this Chow Fun was the best I've had since my go to restaurant for Chow Fun in Chinatown burned down years ago! The Chow Fun was cooked to perfection, slightly charred areas with chewy and soft sections!!! My only wish would be for Chinese greens or broccoli be added to the beef. The other entrees were also very good. The one item that wasn't very good was the egg rolls, I thought that they had a mealy texture which didn't jive with my taste buds!The waitstaff is very pleasant and attentive without being intrusive. They were patient in accommodating the specific needs of our two elders.The staff is quality!!!We will definitely be going back to try the amazing looking maki...can I get an oh yeah for the possibility of seeing uni on the menu?Thanks for a wonderful evening and experience!!!
