4/23/21 - they always seem to have a really good selection of beer. Too bad they were out of the Aslan IPAs that night

Unexpectedly great food, great service, and plan to go back soon!Parking: Small parking lot Pet friendly: Unsure - they have an outdoor area so maybeFamily friendly: YesFOOD:1. Luc's Poutine (Fresh fries topped with smoked beef gravy, cheese curds, green onion, and choice of meat for $) $9.00: 3 Stars - I love a good poutine since I love sauce but this was kind of meh for me. The fries were really good but the gravy was okay (no smoke taste and kind of bland)... and I would probably have loved it more if the cheese curd was also fried (which yes, I know its not traditional). 2. Fried Pickles Chips (Dill pickle spears blanketed in a cornmeal breading, served with ranch dressing and red pepper aioli) $8.00: 5 Stars - Super hot when it arrived so nice to know it was made "fresh." Great flavor, quantity for the cost is amazing, but my only annoyance is the name says "chips" but its spears... 3. Kid's Mac and Cheese: This was probably one of the best mac and cheese I've ever had. It was creamy, a touch of pepperiness, and perfectly cooked pasta. How good was this? My husband and I were stealing pasta from our kid LOL4. Wild West Burger (Beef patty, cheddar cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, frizzled onion, XXX-BBQ sauce, chipotle BBQ aioli, garnish with roasted jalapeno) $18.00: 5 Stars - This was probably one of the best burgers I've had. The patty was juicy but not like so fatty. I loved their little kick from either their XXX BBQ sauce or the aioli but it was just enough. ::Chef Kiss: 5. Brisket Bleu Burger (Smoked beef brisket, grilled burger patty with blue cheese crumbles, blue cheese aioli, topped with frizzled onions) $17.00: 5 Stars - My husband down this so quick! I did not taste it since I am hands down on the no-bleu train. He is one of the pickiest burger person I know LOL MENU/RESTAURANT: They have a great size menu for such a small place. I actually through it was going to be BBQ and nothing else. They did have BBQ but they have a pretty good mix of other things that everyone can find something... well maybe not if you're vegan.. This place is small... like tiny but they fit in as many seats/table/booths as possible. It is a true divvy bar that you can easily see bikers frequent but with hockey décor everywhere so I can imagine how fun/packed this place will be during hockey season. They have an outdoor area that is the same size as the whole restaurant - which tells you how big the area or how small the restaurant is SERVICE:They are super friendly even though they are busy! When we went there was two waitress and one bartender managing everyone. My only fault I can think of is having a sign that says "Seat yourself." As this was our first time and they were busy, we had no idea if we could just grab a seat or not.

The service was okay. The server seemed like she was rushing us to hurry and order and was real short when we asked for anything. The food was not the best but not the worst nothing really had flavor. The sausage seemed burnt and tasted weird not sure if it was the seasoning. Also ordered the 3 meat combo which was brisket, sausage and ribs. The brisket was a pile of fat. I know it's supposed to have some but this was over baring. The sides were a hit which was potato salad and Cole slaw. Also fried pickle spears were good. Overall the sides, fried pickles and sweet tea were delicious! Also kudos for having sweet tea!

This place is really busy, A hockey themed restaurant and bar establishment. The employees are running around trying to wait on all the tables. I feel as though the two females were exhausted but they never let it show. Took some time after seated to order but thankfully we were not in a hurry but enjoying our date night out. We split a combo plate and all the food was really yummy. If you like BBQ, drinks, and Hockey this is the place for you! Lots of cool hockey things around to look at, it's pretty cool!

The food seems fresh and has good taste. Everything is clean and service is fast. It really doesn't look like it's going to be as nice from the outside, but it has a nice ambiance and plenty of screens. Didn't try their signature drinks but I'll be back to do just that. The shrimp tacos were the bomb. The fries were fries.

The food and service at Moonshine BBQ are outstanding. The barbecue can compete with any barbecue I've had in the South or Midwest. When you enter the restaurant, the atmosphere doesn't feel like you're in Washington, it feels like a Southern barbecue restaurant. My server (Jeremy) was very attentive, patient and helpful. This is now my go-to spot for barbecue. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My daughter and I shared a very large mixed meat dish and it was very good, especially the brisket. My husband had a sandwich. We sat outside on the patio with our dogs which is great. It's a great place for large groups outside, inside is a little cramped as it was full on a Saturday afternoon. The service wasn't that good though, one waitress for all the people outside.

I got "The 2 Meat Combo". Ribs, naked smoked chicken wings, baked beans and collard greens. Everything was outstanding except the ribs. They were just meh. I got all three types of sauces and all three were on point. I want to return and try the grilled meatloaf!

This place was all around, okay? There wasn't anything special about it. We were the first customers, we think. The service was sup-bar. I've had so much better, but I've had far worse. The place has a dive bar mixed with a sports bar vibe to it, with hockey memorabilia all around. The food was okay. A little dry, but still eatable. All in all, I think I'd return one more time just to give it a second chance. But if it's the same as this last time, I probably wouldn't go again.

I like this place. Great for PNW bbq. If I'm craving bbq this is always one of my favs especially since it is so hard to find good bbq in the PNW. The staff is professional, food arrives timely, and the meat tastes great! Price is ok. The last time I went I spent ~$40 for an adult and two kids. Definitely plan to visit again. Recommend trying out if you are in the area. It will not disappoint. 5.

I go on Moonshine binges to a wonderful wild feast and then I go cold turkey. Too much goodness.I have never had anything but an exceptional meal, the service is fast as it can be, given that it's usually a little bit short staffed. The food has generous portions and it tastes great - if you're undecided ask the server to tell you if the briskets on point that night.I think the cornbread is great, I'm shocked at the quality of meat, I love the jalapeño and cheddar sausages and oh my goodness I can put away some ribs. I never have enough room but I always order the bread pudding to go.Oh the bartender has a generous pour and the whiskey samples are divine. There's always one newbie in the restaurant that's whining about the service but the other 98 people are happy. If you want five star dining then I think you should go to a place that doesn't have paper towels on the table. It's a friendly neighborhood barbecue joint and I like it very much.
