Probably the best pasta I've ever had is here. And no, I'm not exaggerating for the sake of this review. The most amazing texture of the pasta and the noodles, the most composed dishes, and with all the flavors that will make this meal a core memory. You honestly can't go wrong with of the pasta choices so just choose which ever ones tickles your fancy. Food: 10/10 Atmosphere: 9/10 Service: 9/10 Value: 9/10

This was my FAVE place during our visit to chicago! Started with the burrata, every component was so delicious and I loved how you made it into a little sandwich. I like my bites to have a little of everything! The gnochetti was amazing, tasted so fresh. The pappardelle was good too, more meaty and hearty but we definitely could've done without it to save some stomach space. The tiramisu was delicious as expected and I especially loved the crunchy pieces on the top. This was such a perfect meal and I want to go back to Chicago to watch here again!Service was impeccable and we sat out on the patio which was lovely. Definitely pricey but worth it in my opinion

I came here for lunch with a friend who highly recommended it and she was 100% right! The food is amazing. The restaurant is so so cute and the service is fantastic. I got the lamb ragu, which was soo good and not gamey. We also got the butterscotch pot dessert which was so very good.I am definitely coming here again and I highly recommend it!!

Had a very lovely lunch here with outstanding pasta, good service, and a well designed rustic feeling interior. Burrata e ham was delicious: the tigelle breads are soft and tasty and the rhubarb strawberry kiwi mostarda is delicious. Combine them all into a little sandwich and you got salty, creamy, sweet, and savory throughout. Delicious. Both our pastas were exquisite. The cacio whey pepe was so creamy and the noodles a perfect al dente. The gnocchetti con pesto was also fantastic. The pesto was flavorful and rich. I strongly recommend this place if you're looking for extremely good pasta. My main complaint is it is SUPER hard to get any sort of reservation for in advance. We came one Friday early when they opened and didn't have any issues getting in.

We made a reservation on Resy, and I highly recommend a reservation because the place was packed for dinner on a Tuesday afternoon. I ordered:-Half order of Burrata E Ham -Half order of Arancini-Gnochetti con Pesto-SundaeI love that you can do half orders of the two appetizers I mentioned! It came with 2 pieces instead of 4, which is perfect for a party of two. The burrata is extremely popular and it was so good ... sweet and salty. Highly recommend. The arancini was good, but I didn't think it was anything special. They also gave us some complimentary chilled tomato soup and soup shooters (I forget the name) since we were there celebrating our anniversary. It was excellent. The gnocchi pesto was also amazing, the pasta is light and unique. Flavor is good... highly recommend. I only thing I would skip is probably the sundae. It was ordinary and wasn't worth the price. I saw a couple people order the tiramisu though.

We were in town and this restaurant was recommended by two different friends, so we felt that we had to try it. It was difficult to get reservations so I put us on the notification list on Resy and some reservations opened up the day prior so I booked it for dinner. What a disappointment. I don't get the great reviews and recommendations for this place. It was quite busy and the restaurant itself is not very large. Our server was very nice. We complained that the menu was different than the one online as there was a particular dish we wanted to try that was not on the restaurant menu, and she said we weren't the first to complain about that and she had offered to update their website but the management said no. Anyway, we did enjoy the scallops and another pasta dish (with peas in it, but I don't know what it's called bc it's not on the online menu). But we also got a ravioli and tortelli that were not great. The desserts were highly disappointing. The forgotten cookie should be forgotten off the menu, and the lemon blueberry sundae really was not anything special.For a restaurant that is so highly recommended, the food should be more consistent and they need to update their menu online. We felt that we spent a lot and did not get our money's worth.

One of my few 5 star ratings. Five of us came here for lunch. Our reservation got us a table in front of the pasta TV. We got to watch them make the fresh pastas. It was amazing how thin they rolled out the pasta sheets. We were all in awe.The service was immediate, Johnny served us and was so attentive. explained everything. We shared everything so got to try so many options that just 2 of us would have had to give up some items. We ordered drinks and ordered the smoked fish and waffle fries. A huge portion size. Then go the Texas red fish la plancha. OMG it was fabulous. and a bit spicy but not overdone. The portion size was large enough for us to get a good taste. We then had the burrata that we saw on "Somebody Feed Phil". It was sooo good. We had the prosciutto butter. The burrata was so creamy. Normal portions was 4 they added a fifth so we could all have a tigelle. They were hot fresh out of the oven. Comes with the rhubarb jam. we all fawned over it.Then came the tortelle and the angiolotti. We watched them make it fresh. They were so good. Never had anything like it before. We asked for bread so we could sop up the sauces and clean all the platters. It came with a sweet butter. Dessert was a tiramisu. Such a huge order. We had two bottles of the Multipuciano.

Delicious. Simple mix of meats and cheese, but the quality was excellent and the biscuits were piping hot.HAND-CUT PAPPARDELLE tomato braised lamb sugo, marinated peppers,caprino capretto, calabrian oregano 29~4/5. Tasty fresh pasta cooked al dente with a savory mix of meat sauce.Service was excellent. Would definitely come back.

When a restaurant is fully booked on a Tuesday at 2 PM, you know it's something special. I recently took my sister there for her birthday, and we had an unforgettable dining experience.We ordered the Burrata E Ham (rosemary tigelle, prosciutto di San Daniele, mango pineapple fig mostarda, basil), Oma's Green Mountain Salad, and the Sweet Pea and Sausage Gramigna Pasta. The server was fantastic and even surprised us with a delicious confetti ice cream cake that was to die for. My personal favorites were the pasta and the ice cream cake, while my sister couldn't stop raving about the burrata.Monteverde is perfect for catching up with friends, celebrating special occasions, or enjoying a fun date night. This was my 6th or 7th visit, and each time, the experience has been nothing short of amazing!
