Monster Burger

Headed South from the airport I decided to turn around and go back to Seattle. I was a bit hungry so I searched for the best burger place in the area and Monster Burger popped up with over 1,000 reviews! 3 miles wasn't that far, was it? I popped in to find a line of locals getting their lunch on. Huge Pictures all over the inside the restaurant showcase their foods with exception of a burger...hmmm. Line went quickly and I placed my order within a few minutes. Half of the menu is filled with various burger options ( ~20) and the other half is Asian cuisine (Japanese & Chinese). I came for the burger and fries this that is what I committed to...but Gyoza was on special so I'll take that too ;)Most people seem to get it to go but they had a few tables decorated with Tabasco and Chiluba so I decided to enjoy it here while watching the big screen tv airing the news. Here's my review of the food:We ordered the Double cheeseburger Meal w fries and a 10 pc Gyoza. We though both we're very good and agreed that we would come again if we ever were hungry and wanted Philz coffee.Good place to get Asian cuisine or a burger if you're in the Federal Way area.

A solid burger at a restaurant that offers a very odd mix.It is a combination burger joint and teriyaki. They offer full menus of both kinds of food. If you go to someplace named Monster Burger then you should at least try their Monster Burger. While it was good, it was fast from a Monster Burger. It wasn't bad, just not what I expected. The fries were good, crispy and well seasoned.

We stopped by this place on Memorial day after a trip to Enchanted Village. I was hesitant to try it because I thought they had too many types of food. The service was friendly. We ate there and to my surprise they brought the food out to us. We got the chicken and chips basket, chicken Teriyaki and mushroom Swiss burger plus an extra order of chicken Teriyaki for my husband at home. I was very surprised at the food quality. The fries were super crispy and perfectly cooked. The Teriyaki was tasty and the in-store serving had plenty of sauce. The burger was well put together and the mushrooms were very good, almost like they were sautéed. I took one star off for two reasons. It took a while to get our food. That could have been because we ordered such different things or because they were busy with take-out orders. Lots of places were closed due to the holiday. I could forgive that but when we got home and opened our to-go order we found it had NO SAUCE. The chicken was totally dry. It's just not Teriyaki without the sauce, so I had to take a star off. However, if I'm in town again and want something to please everyone I wouldn't hesitate to order in again.

Boy have I been sleeping on this place. By far one of the best burgers and fries I've ever had. I ordered the monster burger meal for takeout. Total came out to $16.50. The meal can feed two people so keep that in mind. The burger was excellent; meat was well done and charred, but it worked well with the moist ingredients inside the burger. All the veggies seemed fresh too! The fries were so perfect! Crispy on the outside, but with a nice potato inside. I'll be back for more burgers and fries in the future!

Perfect burger old school diner flavor. When you want something a little different but still the same great flavor, Monster Burger does not disappoint. The Monster burger is a must try. Something so simple as a burger but with a familiar taste of a diner.

Great food. Wife had the bacon burger with fries and I had the teriyaki chicken. Burger great, fries look double fried and are awesome, teriyaki was so good I almost licked the plate clean. So good infact we then got some to go for later tonight. Must go back soon.

Hubby works in the area and has heard good things aboutThis place. First. The burgers are $10. So be prepared to drop some coin. The burgers were actually really good. 8/10 and worth the price. The fries were soggy and droopy 3/10 won't order them again. The real reason for the 3/5 stars is that we had to wait 10 minutes for the gal to acknowledge us and take our order. Once our order was taken it was another 10 minutes to get our order. No problem there but not sure why we had to wait 10 minutes for her to finish up her game on her phone. The food was good. Maybe they had a bad day. We'll try again

A small hidden gem! We were passing by on our way back to Yakima and found this on Yelp to try. This certainly delivered in every way possible. Clean - CheckFast Service - CheckGreat Food - CheckAtmosphere - CheckWe had three burgers, pineapple teriyaki, and general tso's chicken. The food was fabulous and had great portions. Well done to the folks at Monster Burger.

They got some good juicy burgers and there fries are the best. There service is excellent and the staff are really friendly.

Had a monster burger and that burger was so good that I stopped being vegan. Also had some gyozas along with the burger and that was good too.
