Monica's Waterfront Bakery & Cafe

This was my FIRST VISIT . Ambience: quaint and very sweet . Very intimate! I walked in and was instantly greeted by a tall gent I ordered two bacon croissants, two mango pastries two croissants he added my name to the order Everything looked delicious in the storefront and my kids loved The special pastries! Everything seemed to be made perfectly. Only flaw : the green hair chick was rude . I just kindly walked in and politely waited to the side for my baked goods since who doesn't want to start off their morning perfect by supporting local businesses, and amazing ones at that!There was a gentleman beside me, who was seated and then got up I didn't know if he was waiting for his order .. The green hair chick put two boxes up in the counter and said "you , yeah you , * points at me * this Is yours" I wasn't on the phone , wasn't texting just was like wow .. worst chick to run in to . I'm like why put my name down if you're just going be unkind .. If I see that chick I'll just not go in ..

Pleasantly surprised they had lettuce wraps which is great for someone like me that can't eat the carbs. They are very busy during lunch service and a line was out the door . I think it is because there is only one person taking orders and they aren't the quickest. Our food arrived fairly quickly... but I was underwhelmed with the lettuce wrapped sandwich. Much smaller than I thought it would be. But it was good. My mom had the egg salad sandwich, and again, while good, the portion of egg salad on the bread seemed very small. The cookies looked delicious... and the bread is house made, so the smells were divine. Most ordered to go, but they do have a lot of seating both inside and outside which was nice for those that just wanted to stop and enjoy their meal.

What a great little spot! Friendly staff in a funky but clean old building. The sandwiches are "build your own" with just one type of bread, thankfully it was house made and delicious. I opted for a avocado sandwich with lettuce, tomato and herbed cream cheese. The portions were perfect, ingredients were fresh and it was ready in no time. I really enjoyed it!I also had an iced green tea, which was made on the spot. Yummy as well, but I can't give them bonus points for the paper straw. If anything, that would be the only negative....and I'd hardly count that against them. I noticed they also had dog cookies - which I will absolutely buy next time for my doggies! They were adorable. And the baked goods looked great. It was a little late in the day when I was there so they didn't have the biggest selection, but what was there looked great. This is a great find - I'll be back for sure!

The food here is so good. One day I was talking to my dad and he didn't know what a quiche was. I have no idea how that is possible but I told him it's like an egg pie and we jumped into the car and we went to have some quiche. He loved it. It's flaky and so so good. I always get Monica's when I'm in town.

Bought some cookies to go. Very mediocre.The service is friendly and there isn't much of an ambiance to describe.

Can't go wrong with Monica's. Love their filled chicken salad and variety of quiches. The cookies are just the best! You can preorder them so that you aren't disappointed when you arrive to find out that they are sold out!

Great quiche!Good burritos. Bakery products are good too...Really busy on the weekends (good sign!)

This place while small upon entering it's quaint and clean. There were signs for upstairs seating but we ordered to-go. Customer service was fantastic. Coffee and the quiche I ordered were delicious! I will definitely be back as I saw the large cookies; will be getting one next time when I try a sandwich.

Great food! Baked goods to go back for! Long time business in Silverdale. Good people!

My favorite thing on the menu is the Mexican mocha. I have never been disappointed and I often see the owner helping out and being a friendly face. I go almost everytime i pass by and they are open.
