stopped in here after grabbing some food in the West Loop. we were jonesin' for some classic cocktails and thought we'd try getting through some of the ones offered at Moneygun. the space was exactly what we were looking for -- dark, kinda grimy, kinda swanky, with a city underground feel. had an old favourite (Pimm's Cup), which was very nice and then the Vieux Carré, which was also quite tasty. the service (both the bouncer at the front and our waitress) was very nice. looking forward to coming back and trying more of the offerings.

I recently visited Moneygun, a speakeasy in Chicago, and I must say, the vibe was really cool. The intimate, small setting felt very trendy and added to the overall experience. The drinks were amazing, and while I didn't see any signature cocktails on the menu, they could make just about any classic cocktail you could think of.They offer light bites. We tried the wings and they were really good. However, I have to mention that the service wasn't so great. I was with a large group, which I understand can be stressful for servers, but it did impact our experience. Despite this, I would still recommend Moneygun, primarily for its cool vibe and great drinks.

Happy hour here was great with espresso martinis and a small side of waffle fries for $10! My best friend and I love the speakeasy vibes here and we were surprised that they dimmed the lights here at all times even during happy hour. We got seated right away and our server was able to quickly take our order, but the service started to slow down and we waited to get our check for a very long time. Super simple happy hour with enjoyable cocktails.

Super great vibe inside and very dark and moody. Tons of booths to cozy up in. Most importantly, great drinks! They seem to have a focus on classic cocktails (they have 30 of them you can get a punch card for), and the ones we got were definitely well made. I'm looking forward to coming back!

Moneygun has a great ambiance and music for an evening happy hour, girls night, or date night. Their happy hour is a great deal with $10 martinis and it comes with waffle fries. The outdoor section Sunnygun is also really nice for the summertime. Server was nice and the place is a decent size with booths for larger parties, or a nice little bar area on the other side.

This bar has three main areas. They have outside area. They have a smaller area where the music is a little less for groups that are wanting to engage in more of a conversation and vibes and then they have another section where the music is a little bit louder And still good vibes. The bartenders and servers are amazing. There is no cover to get in. They do have a small food menu to drink. Don't forget to ask the server for card so that you can go through the various drinks and get a punch on your card. They also have an email that you can sign up for discounts updates and specials. Drinks are $15 and pretty good size.

It was a cool chill spot. I really like the vibe and that they also have food here. What were we doing at this place, getting the out of towners a taste of malort. We got our shots and didn't get a chance to stay too long. Our waitress was super nice and in hindsight we should have just stayed and hung out here.
