The food here is amazing. The flavor is spot on. This is a hidden gem in San Diego as I would say this is the best PHO restaurant in this town. We ordered the deluxe pho and it was so yummy that we finished everything. The meat fell off the rib and was very soft and flavorful. It was a hearty bowl of pho and I definitely recommend anyone to order it. The salted pepper wings is also a yummy appetizer, it's crunchy, crispy, not too salty which I like a lot. We took our parents (the real Vietnamese) here the next day and they confirmed that the food here is really good. The chef even came out and made my dad a special noodle veggie bowl catering to his specific dietary needs. Where else can you get this exceptional service? The restaurant is well-designed. The seatings are nice and comfortable. The ceiling is high and well-ventilated. I highly recommend this place. This would be my go-to place for pho and other dishes now. I recommend these dishes: deluxe pho, broken rice with beef/grilled pork, spring rolls, salted pepper wings, vermicelli bowl with grilled shrimps/grilled pork/beef, etc.

It's a great addition to the neighborhood. A huge plus is that they open earlier than most. It's a nice, roomy, and clean place. The table setup is perfect, and they have the best spoons.Good range on the menu. I ordered a regular Mom's pho special. Their regular is a little larger than most. Small herb plates with the perfect amount did miss jalapeños, though. The noodles were good. Broth's hair was disappointing at first, lacking flavor. It seemed to pick up more and become better as I ate it. I have never experienced that. Good portions were added, but they were a little overcooked. I love the thin scallions.

I'm sorry but being part of a Vietnamese family, having been to Saigon twice in the past 2 years...and eating lots of Vietnamese food in San Diego and Westminster...this place just doesn't cut it. We came here because a family member recommended the place...we should have known better. To begin with, the garlic noodles with bo luc lac had bean sprouts...it made the noodles soggy. Noodles didn't taste like garlic at all. Also, since when do noodles have bean sprouts? Also had the crunchy noodles with seafood (aka birds nest) and the noodles were rather hard than crunchy - the gravy was very watery and had no taste. Gravy is supposed to be thick, not watery. The seafood didn't taste fresh - it seemed like they used frozen seafood. They also ran out of drinking water? The prices are also too high, especially for the small portions. This was a miss. Service - slow when we came by. Unfortunately this is not a Vietnamese restaurant I would recommend.

A group of 6 of us went to Mom's Pho & Grill Vietnamese Restaurant on Tierrasanta Blvd by accident because a restaurant in the same plaza we wanted to try was closed today. The restaurant was nice and clean and it wasn't too busy when we got there. You can see in the video .I'm giving the restaurant a 3.5/5 stars not because the food was bad. I'm giving the restaurant that rating because the waitress never came back to refill our waters and never brought the ice coffee drinks and soda we ordered with our meals until the very end when we had finished eating. I ordered a can of diet Coke it shouldn't have been difficult to bring straight out of the fridge and just as we were getting ready to ask for our checks, she came out with our drinks. I rejected the soda, but my friends took the iced coffees. It would've been nice if the restaurant at least comped our drinks for making us wait but they didn't. I recommend restaurants to start serving pitchers of water for large groups if not going to take the time to refill their drinks.I paid $30 for meal A11: Salt & Pepper chicken wings and the P5: Pho soup with slice rare steak, fatty brisket, tendon, tripe. The food was 4/5 stars. There were no apologies for the delay with our drinks. I don't think I'll be returning to this restaurant anytime soon, but hope others will have a better experience than we did. Happy Yelping!

We come here frequently for pho and sandwiches. The staff is friendly, the service is fast and the food is a healthy comfort food. Our faves are the chicken or shrimp pho, the pork banh mi, and their crispy tofu.Get here early, it can fill up for dinner after 6.My only critique is that I'm not a big fan of their boba drinks. They are made from powders that taste a bit artificial for me. The tea is nice though.

My absolute favorite place to eat pho. Let's start with the friendliest and most attentive staff ever! My order is no. P4 regular with a side of meatballs. I've had egg rolls, spring rolls, s&p chicken wings, s&p shrimp, banh mi sando, basically the whole entire menu. The pho broth is just so divine and heavenly. The protein is delectable; everything about the pho is perfect for me. If I could write an ode to their pho I would, but I'm not a poet, just a foodie! All in all, this restaurant is a must-try!

This is one of those places that I almost don't want to write a review for because it's just too good but they deserve their flowers because their food is out of this world. It's tucked away in an unassuming plaza in the quaint Tierrasanta community. Mom's Pho is definitely a hidden gem waiting to be discovered by the instagram food influencers. The chef appeared in a renowned cooking show and decided to share his talent with San Diego. Their pho is reminiscent of food made by a relative and is one of my favorite things on their menu aside from their broken rice beef dish. The staff is kind and friendly, definitely a mom and pop kind of vibe. You have to check this place out yourself to really experience how much care and love they put into their food.

Finally had a chance to eat other items here, we called in an order to go. Five items, came out to $70 and only took 15 minutes for pickup.1. Grilled Pork Sandwich (5/5):Bread is light & crispy, good portions of ingredients. I think I prefer the BBQ Pork one though 2. S&P Chicken Wings (3/5):Seasoning was good, the chicken itself wasn't really juicy, but a little chewy. Exterior was somewhat crispy 3. Mom's Special Pho (4/5):The noodles were a good texture, the dressings were fresh, good variety and quality of meat4. Pork Egg Rolls (5/5)Flavor was good, super hot and crispy, came with a good amount of lettuce, mint, and vinaigrette 5. Broken Rice with Grilled Pork (4/5)Over easy egg, good portion of pork, side salad, broken rice

I was in town for a visit and was looking around for some Asian cuisine and found this spot next to the hotel and once we arrived to place the order for take out and the rep was extremely nice and informative about the selection we made. The vibe was also calm and welcoming.
