Truly enjoyed. Experimented several unique options. Sushi option is special and allows you to try multiple options without committing to a full roll. Shrimp, tuna and unagi were great. Then we tried their Abac ado roll and a protein roll w cucumber - all very tasty and fresh.The setting is very nice. Minimal yet modern.Service was amazing. We were greeted, seated and asked multiple times. Very accommodating!

Visited 6/15/2024. Salmon Oshi was a favorite. My son demanded a 2nd order of it at the end of the meal. Amberjack Truffles were fine, but would not order again. Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice also good, but very similar to what we have had elsewhere and would not order again. The Moment Roll was good but would not order again. Same goes for Bluefin Tuna Uyu Wasabi.We basically just ordered was the server recommended. Next time will do Salmon Oshi, Tobiko Sizzler, and then individual pieces of sushi. The pieces of sushi I saw looked great. And the Tobiko Sizzler is highly recommended by friends.

I absolutely love sushi it's one of my favorite foods in the world so I'm high maintenance when it comes to where I eat it haha. I have adored sushi moment from the first time I came here 2 years ago. The owner Wook and his wife Wendy are the sweetest humans ever and always remember us when we come. Their entire staff are just as friendly and service is extremely efficient they make every single customer feel like VIP here (Dawn one of the waitresses is so sweet) The ambiance is great for a date, girls night, leave the kids at home parents night out, small groups of 4-5. It's so tastefully decorated with hues of neutrals, stone, light wood and a touch of peach. Super clean restaurant and good quality food with the FRESHEST quality of fish. They even have outdoor seating if you want to bring your fur baby. I said it once and I'll say it again this place deserves a Michelin star.

My husband and I had a date night here for my first omakese. The preset menu is $150 pp. there is so many dishes offered and they are all so delicious and unique. My absolute favorite was the uni toro caviar hand roll. The live amaebi melted in your mouth and was a show to say the least. The experience will amaze you! We got a bottle of saké from japan and it was so smooth. Chef wook was a delight as well. Whether you dine inside or in the bubble tents outside the ambiance will be immaculate.

Overall, a very solid spot. I personally prefer Harmony, but I digress. My favorite item was the jalapeño yellowtail. It melted in your mouth and had great flavor. The crispy tuna rice was also quite tasty. Honestly, everything we ordered was good, down to the glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Service was good. My water glass remained full throughout the evening and I was provided a hook to hold my purse on the edge of the table. It's quite modern, yet simple inside and has an adorable patio.

Had a cozy dinner night at moment sushi and it was a pleasant experience from beginning to end. As a first timer, they explained the menu as well as instructions on how to slide the plastic covering off the handrolls. Off the menu you will find appetizers, handrolls, nigiri, sushi rolls, noodle entrees, and rice entrees. Also there are lunch sets as well as omakase offerings! There was no description of the menu items, making the decision to order a bit challenging.To share, we got their Salmon Oshi that comes on sushi rice topped with torched salmon and presented with a dramatic smoke show. It had a seared flavor from the torch and was worth ordering especially to share. I went for my choice of handrolls ($35) and chose:- salmon with fresh cream- hamachi with jalapeno- scallop with mentaiko mayo- albacore with mango ceviche- spicy halibutI liked my choices and love that this is an option besides the chef choice. My favorites are the scallop and albacore mango ceviche! Do eat as soon as you pull off the wrapper as the seaweed becomes soft making the roll tough to eat and quite messy. I thought the energy and vibes during dinner were very intimate and I love the look of the restaurant itself.

This is genuinely my favorite restaurant in San Diego. The quality of the sushi is consistently outstanding. I've come here about once a week on average for a year, and I've never experienced an off day.The lunchtime sushi set is by far the best deal. I also highly recommend the salmon oshi appetizer and if you have money to splurge, the wagyu sushi and the toro sushi. The black sesame ice cream is awesome and not too sweet.The owner/manager Uook however IS the sweetest- incredibly friendly and welcoming, and his staff is always lovely. Special thanks to Dawn and Mee for being so kind and attentive. Couldn't recommend this place more; I'll be giving them my business for as long as it makes sense.

This restaurant has the best hand rolls I've had in San Diego. All simple but unique hand rolls. The service was great, very attentive and quick with the service. The place felt very high end for it being in the biotech area. The scallop hand roll was the best, sweet and plump scallops with mayo. Highly suggest trying this place if you're a sushi lover.

Can't believe I did not know about this place until now. The food is very tasty and the service was brilliant. The uni special roll is a must. The layers are better than any restaurants I had in NYC.
