Mokis Hawaiian Grill

Wonderful decor, friendly service, and great food. So glad I found out about this place. I'm from Waimanalo originally, and love going anywhere I can feel like I'm home. I also love that they serve on plates when you dine in. They have a nice menu with all the important things, no major fluff. Prices are great for what you get! Each plate in the pics are less than $20. Actually each was only $16.95 and that was a lot of food. The katsu was crunchy and that sauce was bangin. The loco moco was straight forward. Egg was cooked a little too long but it ate well none the less. Mac salad had ono flavor. I will be back to try the poke and manapua when I can.

Tried this place for the first time. The mac salad was delicious and I enjoyed the rice! It took about 30 minutes for my party's food to come out, but we were super patient. Would recommend if you're in the mood for great Hawaiian food!

This place is always consistent, clean, and the service is great! I love the macaroni salad, and the flavor of the chicken! The Katsu chicken is also really good! Don't forget dessert and get the Dole whip ice cream! Did I mention they have slow roasted pig for your next catering event? Give them a shot!

Food was pretty good but way to expensive. For 2 one meat entrees and 2 small drinks it was $45. Windows and door in the restaurant where duty with finger prints and whatnots. On all the tables there were a lot of condiments. One of the condiments was a chipotle mayonnaise that said on the bottle to refrigerate after opening. I was afraid it would make me sick. All of the tables had one. Service was ok. Will I go back? Maybe just for the dole whip....delicious

First off I just moved here two years ago. Local boy from Hawaii for 50 years. I found this place close to my son's school and thought I give it a try. The owner Moki needs to go back home and get his taste buds back. First the music you play is not Hawaiian. It's Polynesian like what they play at the Polynesian Cultural center on the north shore. Second your spicy ahi poki is mayonnaise on cubed ahi tuna and has no taste, does not taste like back home. What is the spicy taste? It's so haole style. Second your garlic chicken is not authentic, it tastes like orange chicken from Costco. Third your Kalbi ribs was ok but too small of a portion for what you charged. I paid $51 for two plates and a poki bowl. Brah you need to take it easy on your prices. If the quality of the food tasted like the real deal then ok. Sorry brah no can give you one good rating. Try again. Also your Mac salad had no taste and under cooked. Again Mac salad needs to be way better. Go back home and try come back again.

Been coming here for years. Really good food but lately food quality has been hit or miss and prices are really high. Seems like owners don't put much attention into the restaurant like they used to. Still come here every once and a while. Just hope the downhill trend doesn't continue.

So I came to this restaurant for the first time and it was very expensive. The portions were small and I ordered a root beer float that I never got the girl kept passing by me. I'm working on your root beer float by the time my meal was done. She brings me ice cream with very little root beer in the root beer machine was down. I asked for my money back she said no, but they gave us free, pineapple ice cream but whatever I mean, it was just terrible service over price under portioned and the girls working there. We're not very bright. They did not have it together. I will never go back there again. Nobody cares however it is what it is.

Place was straight gas I would give it 10 stars! Food is so delicious, feels like you're at a family bbq, super hot and super fresh. Food was out before I could get a seat. Team is super friendly! So glad I had found you guys on TikTok. Definitely will be spreading the word! Great job guys cheeeehooooooo

Highly recommend the Ono Hawaiian down the street from this place. Just had a Katsu Chicken and Teriyaki plate from this place and both lacked any flavor. On top of that portion size was not worth the 19 dollar price tag. For chicken and white rice? You can get actual authentic hawaiian food ON the islands for less than that. Also, dont know a hawaiian that eats that little food. Won't be back. Rename this place to Haole's Hawaiian Food.
