Moes and Joe's Tavern

Overall this was a good food place. The cheese curds the wings were really good. I have mixed feelings in the environment. It is definitely a bar, so the bathroom are interesting to say the least. Some people would prefer the environment but if you are an uptight person then it's not for you.

Oof. Last night's Nachos w brisket was extremely spicy. Should come w a side of antacidLots of fatty pieces diced into the meal. Washed them. Dog was happy. That's why 2 stars. Pup was okMy guy is rocked.

It's a local dive bar. Went on a Thursday right before they started their trivia night. Gets loud and crowded. Good for groups. Food: nothing special. The Cuban sandwich, sweet potato tots and quesadillas were good. The brisket nachos not so much. They use these paper thin, cheap chips and the brisket was dry. It's also a spicy queso poured over it which should be noted on the menu but it's not. Drinks: we only tried the ciders and enjoyed themService: before trivia was cool. But getting closer to trivia it gets busy and everyone disappears. Understandable. Overall, it was ok. I'd stick to beers and apps if I ever went back. People kept coming to our table asking us if we were leaving and it became overwhelming.

Best Bar in the Area - Oh That Pabst Blue Ribbon on Tap!Not sure you can find a better bar than this anywhere. I have been many times in the past, but not for quite some time prior to a recent visit. I have always loved the place and am happy to report that it was better than ever! Food was great and so were the beers. Don't expect a fancy dinner menu or some specialty cocktail...just spot on service, fantastic bar type food and a nice selection of beer. They have added liquor drinks, but PBR is definitely the headliner at this age old establishment and I recommend sticking with the classic. It is sad that Horace is no longer around to serve the patrons as he did for 50+ years. I am confident, however, that he would be pleased with today's version of Moe's & Joe's. It really is one of the finest bars anywhere in my opinion. I hope you can visit when in the area and hope you agree. I also hope I can return very soon!Thanks

So if there were ever a dive bar, this would be it. Its dark and not upscale but if you are going for a beer and some bar food, this would be the place. I sat at the bar after parking on the street (got a good spot right in front of the door) and waited for the bartender to get to me. It took her a minute because she kept talking to other patrons, not like small talk, like full conversations. I was thinking "so you saw a new customer, and you are not going to break away to see if I want to order? That's not good customer service". Eventually she came over and I was able to place my order.The wings were decent (lemon pepper), the fries and the fried cheese was really good though. The wings were okay but I felt like some of them could have been cooked a little longer. Maybe it was an off day in the fryer so I won't pitch a fit about that because it can happen to anyone at any time. But the flavor was good and pretty well seasoned. The prices were really good so you will get some good bang for your buck if you go. If I was in the area I would probably stop by, but I may not go out of my way for it even though it wasn't terrible at all.

This isn't your typical bar, this is an institution.Reasonably priced food to affordable alcohol, to the friendliest staff around, Moes and joes does it all.

sadly, about 6 people walked up after me as I patiently waited at the bar, bartenders just ignored me. really? been coming here for 4 years. scan the bar, know the order relatively speaking, taking a pause coming here for about 6 months.

Best Dive Bar in Atlanta! Food is way better than you think and the Service carries this bar over the top. $14 Pabst pitchers and bathrooms that would give Freddy Kruger nightmares. Our party all had sanddwiches: Reuban, Fried Chicken and Pimento Club. All were excellent. Lots of good comfort food on the rest of the menu. The casual atmosphere makes this an easy crowd pleaser. They have a Pabst Claw Machine with prizes in the cans. There are many other upscale options on this block so if this dive bar doesn't catch your eye you have other options. Or this is a great after dinner spot for cheap drinks.

Ok yall..:I used to come 22 yrs ago as a regular... the sliders!!!! But hen I moved away and live minutes from ya and your service is so pretentious... you think this 44 yr old doesn't deserve service? I guess the girl asking for FREE lemons is importation 15 to have the male bartenders ack me because i wasn't a regular...... Took me asking 10 minutes to order food at the bar while every 5 dollar beer drinker got presided over my tab....gave me the wrong salad dressing and couldn't ask for tge correct one..... ill leave a good tip but please owners..... you built your buisness for different reasons then kids being rude to 23 yr old loyals who may not go out as much but when they do... chose you.... 3 minutes away and I won't be back and thats very appare why very disappointed

My friends and I came here on a Friday night - it was definitely crowded and we had a good time. More of a hang out in booth vibe rather than mingle with strangers. Drinks are cheap!!
