Moe's

Love Moe's. We eat here every time we visit Mission Beach. It has a classic, classy vibe. I love the rich, savory, cheesy French Onion soup and the perfectly crusted melt-in-your-mouth Filet Mignon. YUM. Our group also tried the carrot cake and it was very tasty.

The drinks and service here was good. Also had some of my friends fries and they were crispy and delicious with a good amount of alcohol in the drinks.The bartender was friendly and fun. Great employee.

We selected Moe's for the "steak portion" of our anniversary trip celebration in San Diego. And I'm so glad we did! The staff and our server were so friendly and brought us a few gift drinks and desserts to help us celebrate the occasion. Great cocktails selection... had the Pisco Sour (super beautiful) and Campfire Dreams (smoke raising presentation).Salads were fantastic... had the iceberg wedge (classic and great Gorgonzola dressing) and watermelon and feta (crisp and summery).The steak was perfectly cooked and prepared... 5oz Japanese Wagyu (amazingly marbled and tender) and 10oz filet (perfect filet...as good as they come).We ended it with their New York cheesecake (which I'm super snobby about) and home run...it was Amazing! Perfect sweet/tang/texture combo. Ambiance was a great mix of old school steakhouse vibe and San Diego beachy laidback-ness. Highly recommend!Pro tip on the parking: a short walk to Santa Clara Point is free parking. Good for the digestion too.

moesone of my friends recommended this place, and I'm not sure why it took me so long to actually visit. about 1 mi from where I live, my boyfriend and I decided to finally check out most. we sat at the bar and ordered a few drinks and food. my go-to Moscow drink, is there passion for agave. highly recommend if you like fruity and Smokey tequila cocktail. my boyfriend and I have gone here numerous times since our first visit, and have loved every experience. we've tried a variety of their foods, from their lunch salad, to either crab cakes, to their calamari, to their chicken, to their pastas, to their amazing dessert wines and butter cake. we have had nothing short of an amazing experience, the service is so attentive, the bartenders are so knowledgeable and conversational. shout out to Robert, one of her favorite bartenders. The Ambiance from the outside is not telling at all what is inside the restaurant. from the outside looks like a total drive by place that you wouldn't even acknowledge. but this is truly a hidden gem, dark and chic, Speak Easy/ classic retro bar Vibe on the inside. I let my pictures speak for themselves. this place also has a great happy hour, which they call social hour, from 4-6p during the week.

Excellent service and ambiance. Very old school steakhouse. We had exceptional fillet it was one of the best I've ever had.

We visited Moe's 2x on my recent visit to San Diego. The first night we went and sit at the bar and had a couple of drinks. It was fun to watch the bartenders create their concoctions. A couple of nights later we went back and had dinner. We sat in a great corner booth and shared a large ribeye and baked potato. Once again, we had great cocktails and finished it all off with carrot cake. So nice to have a nice dinner choice in Mission Beach.

Food was great, but the serving is way toooo small for the price. I also came with my nieces and son and I felt as though they rushed us out as we didn't fit the vibe. The waiter wasn't friendly and never came back to the table, luckily there was someone else waiter who I had to bother for chili flakes.

We were searching for a local steakhouse to celebrate our 36th Wedding Anniversary at the last minute. Yelp to the rescue!!! And Moe's saves the day!!!The great Yelp reviews helped us to narrow down our restaurant selection and I appreciate them very much, especially the reviews where Moe's was the place to celebrate an intimate special occasion. We were greeted by a friendly and welcoming hostess that seated us immediately. Don't be alarmed if upon entering the establishment that don't see any tables, it is located just to the left of the bar, behind the bar!!!The decor is very cozy and comfortable, like a dining room in a sophisticated cruise ship cabin. The waitress ensured that our experience was special that night. Menu is a la carte and each item is amazing!!! Steaks cooked to perfection, juicy, tender and moist with the perfect balance of seasonings. French onion soup was delicious. Desserts decadent. Enough said!!! Just go!!!Parking can be a bear. There is a parking lot ($$$) pay by app, across the street. Our new favorite restaurant to recommend to our family and friends

This is a fun swanky spot for Mission Beach. As a local, it's nice to have good food near by and it's tasty. I personally enjoy the social hour :)

The food and atmosphere were great. We sat on the restaurant side but the bar side was hopping also. Drinks were great and the staff was exceptional. They had a prime rib special on Thursday. We will be back.
