Modoo Teriyaki

The hype is real here! Like the feeling when you get your first apartment and can now say, "#$#% them dishes" and eat cookies in the bed. The Food: The good here is always top notch and if you're from the Seattle area we know our Teriyaki. The portion sizes here always HUGE and you can make any entree spicy for .50 more (totally worth it, take a pill). I usually get the amazing spicy chicken, but this time I ordered the spicy teriyaki beef and it was just as good. The beef was cooked very nicely and the portion size was about double what you would get at a normal teriyaki restaurant. I definitely plan on going back and trying more of their menu. PROS: -Food -Portion size -Speedy service -Prices CONS:-Seating area -No Curry Katsu

Great service and amazing food!! I am usually not the hugest fan of Teriaki but my roommate offered to pay so I figured why not. I was so glad I tried it cause hot damn it was good! No weird chewy meat pieces and the sauce they use is magnificent! TONS of food for a great price. The only thing I have to say is I am bummed they aren't open on Sundays when I was having a mad craving for it yesterday.

Updating review: Well .... Staying off the carbs so I wanted JUST mixed veggies - no rice. They charged me the $11.25 PLUS ANOTHER $4.50 for stir fry veggies which was ONLY 2 1/2 cups of cabbage and ONE broccoli floret ????? If your going to order just off the menu with no changes - good place -- but making changes $$$$ -- they charge you for every little thing. Not happy about the EXTRA CHARGES, just because I don't want the carbs in my order.

Quick service and delicious food. I have been several times now and each time I leave feeling satisfied. Love that this is in my neighborhood.

Once again want to be able to give a half star. I would like to give 3 1/2 for this teriyaki place but can't give 4. Met a friend here for lunch about a week ago. We both ordered the same thing the #16 chicken teriyaki & gyoza combo. Was disappointed they didn't have lunch specials at lower prices. And had I realized the size of the order my friend and I could have split it. She wisely ordered hers with teriyaki sauce on the side. Mine was drowned in the sauce. The meat itself was good. All white meat. The salad also received a generous helping of dressing. The gyoza were my favorite part of the meal. We dined in and it got quite smoky from the kitchen. Luckily the lady working the counter opened the door to air it out. Unfortunately she shut it too soon and it got smoky again shortly. I think they need a better ventilation system in their kitchen.

I've eaten here only 3 times and all three times I have been satisfied with my choice. Spicy chicken is spicy and saucy. The chicken Yakisoba is nicely done, noodles are cooked and seasoned perfect. Each meal provided a large amount of food for the price. The side salad is your typical salad with the white dressing.

Lady very considerate, polite, fast service, food taste good, decent size portions and price is fair. The lady was very helpful and thoughtful. I will come back again.

We've been coming here for years now and the food has stayed relatively consistent. Our go to is the spicy chicken, it has just the right amount of spice for us. Their salad dressing is so good! Recently, we ordered and the rice was a bit on the stale side but still pretty good. Normally it has a much fluffier consistency. The lady at the front is always so nice, we love coming in. We have only eaten there once or twice, it's small, there's a couple of tables available. But mostly we stop by to bring home. Portions are always big enough that we have leftovers for the next day.

BEST PLACE EVER!!!!This place is amazing, great taste and the people are so super sweet! They always make sure that you have everything you need and they double check your order!! This is the place to go to for teriyaki!! I will not go anywhere else!

The BEST Fried Rice (w/ combo) I have ever had hands down!! Food is Always freshly made and the portions are well worth the price.. Definitely puts me in a food-coma every time LoL!! And customer service is great- for one person the cashier Lady who is always working does a great job of handling all Walk-in customers (including those who dine-in) + all Pickup customers. She handles the pressure with ease. Great hospitality!! The restaurant is pretty small but I always dine-in when I go after work. Most customers order To-Go. Overall I definitely highly recommend.
