I'm in a food coma right now. I'm surprised the table didn't collapse from the amount of food we ordered. We all shared the Army stew, kalbi Jjim, veggie pancakes. Ttobboki w/ ramen and cheese, and tofu bibimbap, and soft tofu soup. Can't forget the banchan. Everything was great. The kalbi jjim was everyone's favorite. We have leftovers for tomorrow's lunch. We went during lunch time. Seating was open around 11:30am. We left around 1pm and there was a long wait at the door. Go early if you want seating. We'll be back for the kalbi jjim!

Had Soft Tofu Soup with Pork! Everything was delicious and tasted fresh! We also had the katsu and short ribs, which were both delicious! The wait is pretty long during the weekends, so prepare to wait a while or come visit early!

It gets crazy busy here at dinner so prepare for a minimum 1 hour wait. The hotpot entrees are massive, one order is easily enough for 4 people. Be warned, if the menu indicates spicy, it is spicy! They come out boiling hot perfect.Banchan ~ fresh and good enough selection. Service was attentive and quick on the refills. Standard Korean beer & Makgeolli ~ pricey but a must with Korean food. No need to wear your Sunday best if you come peak dining ~ your clothes & breath will come out smelling like gochujang ;)

Stopped by in Lynnwood to check out Modoo. It has a bit of an upscale ambiance and is a bit pricey, but has pretty good food! There are not a ton of vegetarian options. I really liked the vegetable pancake appetizer, and the bibimbap was great as well. For meat eaters, they have plenty of combos and a diverse variety of options to try. They also provide lots of banchan to go with your meal.

Modoo Restaurant is a gem for authentic Korean cuisine, offering a menu that brings you closer to Korean culture and foods. I always see a long line every time I pass by and knew I had to try. The savory flavors of their dishes, especially the seafood pancake, are a delight to the palate, and the friendly service adds to the positive dining experience. Despite the busy atmosphere and occasional wait times the food is delicious and comes in huge portions. Modoo is a top choice for anyone craving genuine Korean food!

I LOVE THIS PLACE. If I could give it more stars I would! One of my favorite Korean restaurants, and I make the drive up from Seattle for this place. Army hotpot is my comfort meal and you really can't go wrong. The portion sizes are huge - great place for a small group to share family style. I can't wait to try other items on the menu - such delicious food here.

First time here and the galbi jjim was fantastic! Would def recommend! Sauce was sweet and a little spicy and beef was tender, falling right off the bone! The yukaejang was okay, good solid soup but not wow. We came on Saturday a few min. before 4 pm and there was already a line but got seated immediately. At around 4:30 pm the restaurant was already packed.

Extremely impressed with the quality of dishes, the serving size, and the prices. They do not take reservations, and we were frustrated that when we arrived at 5:55 PM they told us we would have a 30 minute wait for a group of four people on a Friday night, but it was literally 55 minutes before we were seated. We ordered the jjusami (webfoot octopus, pork belly, and veggies), LA kalbi (short ribs and onions), the vegetable & seafood pancake, and three drinks. At the end of our meal, we asked them to make us cheesy fried rice with the leftover sauce from the jjusami. After tip, we the four of us paid $42 per person. The ambiance is a casual & family style restaurant - no tablecloths, paper napkins, and most guests are wearing jeans. The biggest drawback here is the long wait times. Service was reasonable, not impressive, but not a disappointment - service was faster than at most Seattle area restaurants, but we did find ourselves, waiting to order more food and get the check at the end. I would recommend drive to Lynnwood and deal with the wait times - the Korean food was delicious and the prices were more than fair for the portion size.

What we ordered: Jjusami + Cheese Fried Rice, Modoo Bossam, & Kalbi-tang. There are so many delicious shareable dishes! My friend recommended we get the Jjusami which was stir fried octopus, pork belly, and vegetables in this slightly spicy but sweet sauce. We also added on the cheese fried rice for the end! The Modoo Bossam is boiled pork belly which was so tender. You have to make a little wrap for yourself with all the ingredients they provide, it's a party in your mouth. The soup was a nice palette cleanser in between everything we were eating. There was a wait, but the place was spacious. Surprisingly not bad of a wait on Friday evening the day we went, it wasn't long until we were sat down.
