Modern Grind

Stopped here today for the very first time. First of all, amazing customer service! It's hard to find friendly employees these days! The employee had a smile and great people skills! Iced beverage was delicious! You could taste the quality of the coffee and perfectly made. If you are looking for a quick treat, I HIGHLY recommend.

This is such a cute stop. Small coffee drive through location. I prefer toHit small coffee shops instead of large chains... they were super friendly staff and the coffee is delicious ! I will 10/10 be back again! Glad I came!

I visit this area from time to time and was looking for a local coffee shop and i'm so happy I found this place. It's located across from the Walmart and i totally missed it because it's such a small establishment, so keep your eyes peeled. I tried the vanilla latte one day but on the 2nd day I tried the caramel macchiato that was absolutely delicious. I got my mom a cappuccino with half and half, extra hot and she said it was the best. I tasted it and it was very delicious. My friend ordered a hazelnut granita but it was too sweet for my taste. Overall, this place is a must TRY. I know I will definitely be back the next time i'm in the area.

The coffee here is flavorful. I always have to stop by when I'm in Avondale to get their iced vanilla latte. You can taste the difference in their coffee compared to other places. The employees are always in good spirit and this place beats any coffee spot in the area .

I go out of my way to come here because it's local. I prefer to support local instead of the big chains. I've been here a few times and the service is always good. The ladies inside are always nice and helpful when you ask questions. They give a chocolate covered coffee bean with every order. It's a nice little treat.

Decided to come try this cute little coffee shop because of the amazing reviews and wanted to support a small business! I liked this place a lot, it's mainly just a drive through although there is a little patio area. There were a good amount of customers which is always a good sign. The customer service here is really great, the barista who took my order was super friendly and so was the one who handed me my drink at the window. I ordered a 16oz cold brew with cream and toffee syrup, it was good but a tiny bit watery. I didn't get much of the coffee flavor or strength I usually expect from a cold brew, but I would come back and try something else!

Drove past this spot and figured "oh look a cute size coffee shop, let's go support it!" Pulled them up on yelp to check in and seen that you're able to redeem a 20% off with check in so we ordered the 24oz caramel twist. We got to the drive thru window and my hubby told the girl working front that we checked in on yelp and if we can apply the 20% off they are offering. The girl didn't look to sure so she asked a manger (I think he was), gave him my phone and he said that they are not "partnered up with yelp" but he will honor it this time ..... OK? I appreciated the honor on the discount, I was just confused as to why have a discount coupon on yelp then that's all? To add some razzie dazzie to our first time experience, they got our coffee order wrong ....... it was disgusting too, 2/5

Great latte! Picked up 2 lattes here. Smooth flavor and a full cup. Will come back when on the west side.

Stopped by on our way out of town just before closing on a Sunday evening. Service was top notch. Ask for a recommendation of something decaffeinated and she recommended one of their teas. I told her to surprise me with a flavor because they all sounded good. She made me a Blackberry Açaí with pomegranate because it was her favorite. It's is now my favorite. Sorry it's 3 1/2 hours from home.

Shaken espressos are my weakness and Modern Grind has the best of them! Staff is so nice, coffee is delicious and I would come here over Dutch or Starbucks ANY DAY. I'm lucky to be close by but it's so good that it's definitely worth a drive. Thank you Modern Grind for making my morning coffee runs so much better!
