The cashier has zero ability to do maths. I asked for 5 donuts and asked for 2 boxes that can each fit 3 donuts each.Cashier told me I'l be charged extra for the box (since I'm not ordering 6 but only 5), but in fact improperly charged me for 6 donuts.A box costs $1, not $3. You should have charged me $25.49 (5 donuts + 2 medium boxes), not $27.49 (6 donuts + 2 medium boxes).I went back to complain and she couldn't understand her mistake; she insisted that she charged correctly for 5 donuts with 2 boxes. Without apologizing, she said I could take a free donut if I wanted.A lady told me to stop arguing because I was holding up the line. She told me to "pick my battles." Lmao. Lady. would you be so indifferent if it were your own money? Zero stars for you.I nonetheless felt like I couldn't hold up the line any longer, so I took the extra donut and left.I was swindled from the shop out of pure stupidity. You should not have offered a free donut, assuming I was just a crazy customer. I don't want 6 donuts. I don'r want diabetes. That's why I ordered 5.The proper way to resolve this would be to acknowledge your mistake, and offer a refund for the extra $ you charged me. An extra sugary snack is not a proper way to address overcharging. And I even paid gratuity. Stupidity pays off sometimes, I guess.

Wanted something sweet after our dinner at Din Tai Fung, so we walked over here. I got one mochi donut, the Raspberry Funnel Cake, which I've had before and really like. I like the texture of the donuts and that they're not too sweet. My bf got the Thai Tea. I was really tempted to get a drink, but was too full. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

I was pleasantly surprised by the mochi donuts here. They don't look too flavorful because the base dough is always the same, but each one we had tasted significantly different. The Vietnamese coffee had a strong coffee flavor and the creaminess reminiscent of condensed milk, the berry cheesecake had a delightfully smooth and tart cream cheese frosting with a berry glaze, and the marshmallow interestingly was the least sweet but had a nice toasted marshmallow flavor at the end of each bite. The texture of the donuts was consistently nice, chewy with a lightly crisp exterior and not greasy. Super fast service and self-order or pickup available. The Korean cheesy dogs looked good too but didn't try today :) lots of folks were getting their cute "canned" drinks!

I stopped by the ever evolving University Village post holiday rush in search of Mochinut, located in the former Menchie's site (1/3/24).It is still in soft opening mode through tomorrow. The friendly counter person told me of the upcoming grand opening specials starting on Fri 1/5/24 through Sun 1/7/24 (see attached photos). I stopped in right at the 11am opening and had a chance to glance around while in line. Bright interior, two focal walls, overhead menu, and of course, mochi doughnut display and the pastry case. Literally, the retail shop and now my car has such a tantalizing fresh scent!I ordered one of each/half a dozen for $19 and a Tiger Sugar Fresh Milk with Boba for $6.50, before tax & tip.I've never had Dochi, but tried Mochinut (w/Happy Lemon in Edmonds) and Milkvue (by the Space Needle). Always a nice chew and spectrum of Asian inspired flavors. A nice treat to celebrate the start of winter quarter at nearby University of Washington - Seattle campus!A terrific addition to the retail, cafe, restaurant collection at Seattle's University Village.

I live mochinut donuts, they're super chewy and come with a lot of fun flavors. I personally don't prefer the ones that are frosted but I could eat a lot of the simpler flavors/plain. The wait can be a bit long if the area is busy so be prepared to wait, especially if you got food or drink. Moderate amount of seating as well. The prices are a bit high for my preference but that comes with the u village premium.

I visited on a Friday night and it was busy with lines out the door periodically. The store is small and seating is limited, so you might have to stand awkwardly inside or eat outside if you don't have a table/seat. It took 10-15 minutes for our food to come and it was toasted/burnt. Visually, the corn dogs don't look appealing at all since it's so dark. I didn't mind the burnt taste much, but my friend disliked it and needed to wash out the burnt taste with candy after. They limit sauce to 1 per corn dog, which was surprising since other places let you self serve the sauces and there are more options to dip with.

Love my donuts to be more fluffy and light so the fact that these are quite dense and chewy didn't sit right with me. Although they are mochi donuts and that's how they are supposed to be. I liked the ube coconut and churro caramel the best out of the ones that were available. It was a nice dessert to share with someone after a dinner but not sure if I would go here to satisfy a donut craving.

Light and crispy fried corn dogs with stringy and melty mozzarella! Just as good as Chung Chun in international district.

Never tried Mochinut's bubble tea before, but I am definitely now a fan! I always strayed away from Mochinut because I never liked their donuts in comparison to another's but now I have a reason to visit them more often. My friends and I decided to stop in after dinner for our own dessert. One of our friends had already tried this place before and has said her go to order that never misses is Tiger Sugar Fresh Milk w/ Boba. Our other friend decided to give it a try and loved hoe sugary it was. I decided to try the Ube Fresh Milk w/ Boba and it definitely on point with the flavor and boba as well. Not sticky and just the right texture. Once i ordered, took about 5 minutes to get my drink. Line was pretty long (a bit out the door at around 5 pm).Overall, I will definitely come back again for their bubble tea.

The store itself is pretty small with very minimal seating. The line was pretty long when we went on a Friday night.I got one donut flavor. The sesame ball donut was very yummy. I enjoyed it.The corn dog on the other hand was not a good experience. It was SO BURNT. This was an incredibly disappointing experience since we were excited to get it. It is also pretty weird that they only let you pick one sauce. Most other places will let you get multiple different sauces.
