Mo Better Chicken

Food tasted old and wasn't fresh. The ladies serving the food weren't wearing gloves and got mad when said something.

I came in one day a few weeks back during my lunch break. It wasn't busy and the staff was really nice. I had the 3 piece chicken meal with mac and cheese and lima beans. Everything was great! That chicken was fresh and hot. Mac and cheese definitely tasted homemade! I asked for cornbread and got a roll. But no big deal. I'll definitely be back.

This food was G double O D .....GOOD! Seasoned to perfection! Stopped by a couple times and this spot was not opened, maybe it was a Monday or something but went in this past Tuesday and was in for a surprised. I got a baked chicken plate with cabbage and mashed potatoes and gravy.... everything was good! The chicken was so flavorful? My goodness! Fresh rolls..... I can't wait to get back over there. The restaurant was clean on the inside mainly because you can't dine in yet. The service was great, the cashier should have had on gloves, but she did wash her hands .... she took them off and never put them back on ( do better ) but other than that, I have no complaints. We will be back soon.

I wish I could say the service was good like previous reviews however that was not my experience. I was rushed through my order in drivethru with no help for my first time but no one was in line when I got there. The young lady struggled to find what I was reading off the menu board on their pos system. I ordered the chicken tenders and fish (whiting) combo with black eyed peas and mac+cheese. I choose a roll over cornbread and added a side of potato salad. It all came to $19 with a drink. Everything was good the black eyed peas tasted a little weird and was hard. The potato salad had chunks of pickles which was new to me. Honestly probably would not return because it was like I was bothering the cashier.

January 2021SOUL FOOD !!!My mom and I stopped by here on the first Sunday Of 2021, we were pleasantly surprised by the taste of this food. It is authentic soul food that you only can get in the South.There is no indoor seating available. It's take out only at this point.My mother got the meat loaf with collar greens and black eye peas ($9.50). I ordered the oxtail dinner with cabbage and sweet yams($20). Both meals came with a drink and complementary cornbread. My mom absolutely raved about her dinner, my oxtails were a different flavour than I've ever had before but definitely delicious and generous with the serving. They were on a bed of rice as well.Service:5/5Prices:4/5Ambiance:3/5Value:5/5Bottom line: For really delicious and authentic cafeteria style Sunday dinner, make sure that you come by this restaurant. They deserve your patronage.

Food be on point. But I have found a hair in my wife's fries. I've notice no one is wearing hair nets or beard nets. Please tell them that it is a health hazard to chewing on someone's hair.

Service can be a little slow and not always the most welcoming, but the food is really good. They are pretty consistent also. I've tried nearly everything on the menu without disappointment.

Baked chicken was dry and the potatoes were instant mashed potatoes. They were so lazy they did not add butter, salt, or anything to the potatoes to the instant potatoes. Disappointed with the food the baked chicken was flavored well and black eye peas were okay.

I'm definitely done supporting this place the line server always seems annoyed! Why be in the front dealing with customers with an attitude like we're not the ones paying for it! I literally drove 52mins from Buford Ga to deal with crappy customer service never again! This is the third time and that's totally my fault! The food is good but not that good!! And from the reviews it's an on going thing! Which is sad especially if it's Blk owned and family run they'll chose to keep them knowing they wouldn't dare act this way if it wasn't a family Business!

The Employees have horrible attitudes. They are rude and they have sweat dripping from their face on the food. The resturant is nasty. And one of their workers coughed over the food! Don't patronize. I will never step foot in that establishment again in my life.
