The ambiance is as fun and welcoming as a party in your mouth, but with way fewer candles.Today, we indulged in their strawberry danishes and crème brûlée danish, paired perfectly with a caramel latte that was basically a warm hug in a cup. I did not eat here because ONE piece of cake cost $11.50!!!Thats ridiculous! Sorry And the cakes didn't even look like they were worth that price

Love this place! Saw how cute the patio was walking by for Lemon Festival. My friend and I couldn't find any lemon pie and looked up one in the area and I was surprised to see it was the place I was drawn too though didn't see the name. So happy I got to experience this place! Savory Danish meals I've not seen before ... lemon creamy. Fun & Flavorful!! Enjoy!!

My first review in 2024 & as a first time Black Badge Elite Yelper & honored to make it for Mmm Cakes. Hands down my favorite Cafe in San Diego! Not only is their theme the Golden Girls which is cool but their food, drinks & customer service are all awesome. Love the vibe from all the workers especially the owner. Love that he's out helping the staff & checking on the customers with a beautiful attitude. Let me start with the deserts, amazing & fresh, we had the Cinnabons, that Orange Glaze flavor was orgasmic, really it was I think I blushed when I bit into it. Best Hot Chocolate I've ever had true story, their coffee if it's hot, cold or in a expresso it's all the same, very flavorful & good. And their cakes, well, their Mmm DELICIOUS! They have some of the best cakes you'll ever taste.So come for breakfast, lunch or dinner & have some mimosas (do it with the Mango Pineapple) anytime of the day it will hit the spot no matter what you eat with it. They have a fan & loyal customer in me, can't wait to come back & try more items especially the Duck plate it looks delicious & I got to try that Hummingbird cake everyone is raving about . We came here for brunch with friends. It's a small shop but with classic vibes. We enjoyed our food and mimosas. The owner was very nice and he's the Christmas cookie champion! He also made an amazing yoda cake for my friend's son's first birthday. I can't wait to visit again and try more dishes.

Such a cute place!!! I love the decoration they have it's so Instagram worthy! Service is a 10/10! The girls were so nice and attentive! The cakes and pastries are delicious! Just a little pricey for me! I got 3 pastries and 2 slices of cake, all of them amazing!!! I am definitely coming back and maybe even ordering a birthday cake! They have a lot of street parking

Very friendly service. 2nd time I came here. Tried hummingbird cake during Taste of Third event. It was ok. A lot of people love it. Peach Lemonade was too sweet for my liking. Decor is cute and I like that they have a patio. It was busy both times I went which means it's a popular spot.

Jose was great and is a very talented baker.Ordered a cheesecake from here and it was amazing.
