I really enjoyed my first Cupcake Decorating Workshop by instructor Joy from MMC bakes at Chula Vista Brewery-Eastlake location. Event included 1 beer + cookie+ Joy's homemade trail mix. We learned how to make lines, dots, star shells, ruffles and different florals. I did pretty good for my first time. Follow MMC bakes page on Instagram for future events. I ordered 100 individually wrapped crinkle cookies from Joy for my son's baptism reception recently, and I must say- they were such a hit! They were both our party favors and part of the the table decor. The four flavors I got - buko pandan, red velvet, ube, and calamansi - were all so good. Ube was my favorite! Thank you, Joy!I found her through Yelp and submitted an inquiry through her website - the ordering and pick up process was so easy and she responds so promptly. She even worked with the design I wanted on the sticker for the favors (see photo). I moved to Eastlake 2 years ago and really wanted to support local and Filipino-owned. I am so glad I found Joy and will continue to order from her for my special occasion events!

I can't express enough how much I love MMC bakes' desserts! Not only is everything I've ever tried from her delicious, but they're also beautifully done. MMC bakes designed an entire dessert table for me for my baby shower complete with a marble cake with a fondant boho macrame design, assorted crinkle cookies, peach/mango/passion fruit cupcakes, and French macarons that literally melt in your mouth. I can't tell you enough how much my guest loved everything and asked for her info so they can use her for their own parties! Not to mention, MMC bakes was very easy to work with, timely, and professional. I told her my theme, gave her a color palette and she made everything come to life. Hands down, the easiest part of planning my baby shower! Highly recommend her if your looking for a quality, creative baker!

Joy did my daughter's 4th bday cake along with some Ube & Calamansi Crinkles. Our guests raved about this cake! We served the top part which is the neopolitan and they all had the same comment.."it tastes like ice cream" the buttercream is so smooth and everything just melts in your mouth! I saved the ube cake for my family and i hahah and i still stand by my words, JOY MAKE THE BEST UBE CAKE!!!!! Hands down!! It lasted til yesterday and the cake stayed moist and flavorfulI also had so many people react and ask about who made this cake bec they're amazed on how beautiful it is!!! My daughter had the biggest smile on her face when she saw her cake and Joy made that happen! I highly recommend!

I found her on IG. She is very sweet and you can tell she really cared about what she was doing because she would go out of her way to suggest things to make your cake extra special! She was always professional and responded in a timely manner. My family enjoyed my daughters BTS Butter themed cake and i will definitely go to her for future cakes!

I love MMC Bakes! I had a busy week and needed last minute teachers appreciation gift. MMC Bakes totally delivered The delicious crinkle cookies came in cute boxes with pretty bows. And every box came with a card for the teachers and labeled according to their flavors! The details were amazing and the prices are so reasonable. The teachers LOVED their gifts! I highly recommend her for any special occasions! And the owner, Joy, is such a joy. She's so sweet and friendly and accommodating. She also makes beautiful cakes and other goodies. She even hosts her own workshop now! 5 stars for sure!

Been ordering from Joy for years and she's never disappointed! We recently made a large order of crinkles with almost every flavor for a baby shower and the guests couldn't get enough! By the end we were left with no more, and our guests kept asking who we got them from!

My only regret in ordering crinkle cookies from MMC Bakes is not ordering more! They are delicious. I love her Pinoy Mix crinkle cookies and will definitely order again

As always, Joy exceeded our expectations in making the best cake all the time. The flavors of all 6 different layers are not overwhelming, and just enough flavor to distinguished what it is and as if we're eating the actual flavor and not a cake. She always makes every event of ours remarkable and happy tummy because of your mind blowing delicious cake.

I was so excited to contact MMC bakes when planning for my baby shower. I contacted the owner Joy, through MMC bakes website and she is really responsive, provided me so many options, and provided her opinion based on size of party and other desserts we were providing. We ended up with 100 ube individually wrapped crinkle cookies with custom sticker design as giveaways and as display at party and over 54 macaroons of the most popular flavors which were a hit! I love the flavor and presentation! Will definitely use MMC Bakes for future celebrations and parties. Thank you!!
