Miyako's Teriyaki & Wok

Chicken Teriyaki w/ Rice has always been consistently good here. Expect nice a portion of teriyaki with two nice portions of rice and a side salad. The staff is quick with the order, friendly and the place is clean.

Absolutely wonderful cheerful order taker. The food was excellent. It was nice and hot nicely presented and the temper. It was so good. It's the best tempura I have ever had. It's the best and friendly service I've ever had. They also have free tea and miso soup while you're waiting. I highly recommend this place and so does my husband. It's been a while since we've been there due to the Covid and everything but boy or boy were we happy. Go, and you will be happy to!

I'm disappointed to be writing this review. We used to love Miyakos but recently something has changed. The sauce is bitter, and the chicken is burnt which left it inedible...even for my husband who eats anything. We sadly won't be returning.

It's good teriyaki for sure but nothing special. One of the pros is that you can now buy an entire bottle of Teriyaki Sauce for under $8 so you can sauce it up whenever. However It's not an actual bottle so much as it is a ketchup or mustard squeeze bottle with the cap off. They don't include the top and use a piece of tape over the top instead, which I'm not fond of. The service is good and they're pretty quick about having your order done within 15-20mins. For us it can be a quick walk there and back. We've never actually eaten inside so I can't tell you much other than it's dimly lit but not dark with the typical flair of a family run Chinese restaurant. Overall it's convenient, fast, and pretty good.

I was feeling really lazy to drive to my usual teriyaki spot 10 minutes away and this one is half the distance. I always see tons of people going in and out so decided to give it a try. The good: the staff are super friendly and the portions are generous! I was able to make two meals out of the chicken teriyaki I ordered and both times I was left feeling stuffed. The not as good: I personally found the spicy chicken teriyaki to be way too garlicky. I'm a big fan of garlic but the amount in my dish took away from the spicy and sweet flavours I'm used to in teriyaki. I also didn't find the pieces of chicken to be seared as much as I'm used to as they were quite chewy. Maybe it was an off night and perhaps I'd be tempted to try again in the future as I see lots of other folks rave about this place, but with my usual spot being only 5 minutes farther I'm not convinced I will.

DONT THINK. JUST EAT THERE ALREADY! Super calming energy, with the music and all the plants!!! The SWEETEST lady works there which just made everything better. The food was DELICIOUS, but we're from Seattle, so it's not very close to us or else we'd only come here cuz it's just that good! They also serve complimentary soup! Highly recommend the Orange chicken, or Katsu, but the teriyaki and egg rolls were great too!

This place was amazing!! I was driving through town when I saw Miyako's and it caught my attention. The lady at the front was so kind and attentive, and I loved all of the plants in the store! They had some lunch specials, where I ordered the teriyaki and orange chicken for only $13. They even had complimentary miso soup! Would definitely recommend eating here and will be back next time I'm in the area!!

Always delicious. The yakisoba and chicken teriyaki are excellent. Always friendly service and fast service for take-out.
