Delicious no nonsense bagel and coffee. Service is quick and efficient. Order at the counter and they'll call your name. Grab some to go items from the cooler for later.The only downside is the parking lot is small, but there's street parking available.

Mitchell's is always phenomenal. That's really all I have to say. Appropriately priced, delicious, and quick service. What more could you ask for. Plenty of inside space to sit down and enjoy (to me) a top 3 sandwich in Nashville. 10/10, no notes! Go see for yourself and enjoy. You won't regret it!

Good food and turkey Avocado BLT was mouthwatering and perfect after our hike around Shelby! Not too crowded except weekends and lunchtime has a line. Go earlier than lunch around noon and later after 1pm. No line! Servers were friendly and helpful. Fresh made soup daily and reasonably priced. They have tasty beer on tap and wished I had ordered one.

I found this place because I was looking for a good Reuben. Then I saw that they had an award winning sandwich called the "Asian Flank Steak" so I had to try it. It did not disappoint. The hoagie was freshly baked and the steak was cooked perfectly and it had plenty of melted cheese. The staff were friendly and my sammich was ready in about 10 minutes. It was about noon on a Saturday and it was pretty busy. By the time we were leaving the line was out the door. The kitchen was slamming some food out without a doubt. It's a clean and casual deli. They do have some outdoor seating but it isn't air conditioned. Finding a place to park was a little bit of a challenge but I found a spot in a corner lot that was overflow parking for the restaurant. Most of the sandwiches are $10 to 12$. They did have 2 soups of the day and a fix yourself salad bar. I think that they rotate on the soups. Good fresh food. I will be going back soon to get my Reuben.

My favorite sandwich shop in Nashville. Love the vibes. Everyone is always really nice and friendly. My go to sandwich is the BBQ Brisket & I add giardiniera. It is a 10/10. Add a bag of chips & a glass bottle beverage from their fridge & it's the perfect lunch. Tons of sitting indoors plus a bench or two outside. There's overflow parking nearby because the parking lot is usually packed.

We ate at Mitchell's Delicatessen because we had seen it on Tennessee Crossroads. We had been wanting to try other sandwiches besides hot chicken and this was near where we were staying in Nashville. They had a simple menu consisting mostly of sandwiches and they also had a $11.99 a pound salad bar inside. They place was clean and nice but we chose to eat outside since it was a nice sunny day. We enjoyed our sandwiches and would recommend this place if you our in the mood for sandwiches.

Mitchell's has quickly become our go-to lunch spot - and everything we've tried so far from their expansive menu has been incredibly tasty!I highly recommend ordering ahead online if possible ... especially on the weekend. If you do brave the dine-in line on a Saturday or a Sunday, be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes ... and you may have to quickly stake your claim on a table after ordering. The interior of the restaurant is casual and comforting, with almost a "local diner" feel to it. The outdoor patio is spacious and covered!Of the several sammies I've sampled, the Pastrami and Swiss is my favorite. I also quite liked their Turkey Brie, which is a unique take on the classic. We have yet to try any of their breakfast options ... but that's only because I always seem to be in more of a "lunch mood" when I'm ordering. I'm sure that will change one of these days.
