Mission Cantina

Sooo yummy & decently priced!! Mission is one of my favorite spots in North Admiral for a quick casual dinner. We've been many times, but this time I ordered the Al Pastor Tacos which were amazing, and my boyfriend got the Chicken Fajitas. I've also heard their Cali-style Burritos are incredible but I haven't tried them yet. They don't give you chips and salsa, you have to order them... but their margaritas are all really good! I got the Strawberry Margarita and loved it.

I haven't been back here in many years, and it was nice to discover that the food still tastes as great as it did before. Service was really slow, at one point we needed to get our drinks from the bar and it took quite long to get someone to run our payment. Be warned: The bacon-wrapped jalapeño poppers are hotter than most other places around town. The filling seemed chunky and upon closer inspection, it was full of seeds. Tastes great but make sure you have lots of water or ask for additional crema so you can taste your entree.

I just reviewed Mission Cantina last week, but felt I needed to again, as we had the perfect experience last night...again. The food was great as usual, my wife had the veggie burrito, and I had the carnitas torta. I had never had one before, and it was phenomenal. Flavorful and so tender.Our server Celia M. was one of the best. She knew her Mescal's, as it was 1/2 price Mescal night, and she pointed us to two to sample. So good. Her knowledge of the menu, and her genuinely sincere attitude should also be commended.And of course the Queso Fundido and Refried Bean Dip were excellent appetizers. They just have great food.

An amazing collection of some really rare tequila and mezcal! Love that they are a scratch kitchen and everything is made fresh. Coming from So. Cal I love that they have a giant California burrito!

Walked in with a large group on a Friday night. The place was busy, but they still managed to find us a table. The mission burrito was huge! Highly recommend it for anyone with an appetite. Service was very friendly, and the Pacifico I had was really refreshing.

Group of 8. Suppose to seat yourself, but go some assistance since nothing appeared open for that many.Sat, and waited a bit, and ordered a couple of drinks(appears no refills on diet coke and lemonade). Order chips and salsa, and queso dip with chips. Also, no refill on chips even though didn't finish the quest and wanted more chips, so told to order another order of chips.Oddly enough, 2 groups that came to sit close after we were seated had already had their meals and almost finished by the time we finally to oder our main meals.The food was pretty good, maybe a little spicier than anticipated. I had to make sure my daughter checked here food, due to her having nut allergies, since I noticed the rice had pepitas on it.It's been a few years since I've been here, but not sure if I'll come back.

Phenomenal experience with great food and a vast tequila menu. If you haven't been you need to go!

This is a great spot for a fun dinner out in West Seattle. Make sure to take advantage of their wide selection of tequila. Really good tres leches.

We went back excited that the Mission has re-opened under the mantra of "keep the mission, mission." The staff was excellent, management was great and the ownership team were there looking for feedback on opening week.Backstory time, we have been going to the mission for the last decade probably twice a month before they closed. My favorite meal was the california burrito alitas style, although I've had just about everything on their menu. Tonight we ordered standard fare to see how things are starting out.Back to present. The bartender was superb! Starting off with a smile and friendly banter. He had just started and was enjoying the challenge. We had great margaritas and ordered food. Upon delivery of food is when the night started to sour. I usually order the aforementioned burrito. Unfortunately, this time it was not up to the same standard that I've had many times under the old Mission.I signaled the new GM who came right over and was very open to feedback. After mentioning my burrito was not what I expected, he asked for details and was understanding of my concerns. He then proceded to comp that portion of our meal. The computers were not cooperating and he called the owner over to rectify our ticket. We had to wait for a bit while that happened, and were rewarded with superb customer service. Being opening week, our patience was high and we were polite while they worked out kinks in their system. While this process was happening the owner introduced himself and clearly explained the situation. Everything was eventually rectified and we left with a great impression of what the new Mission could be!TL:DR Overall, this was a positive experience and we will be back! The staff was excellent as always. New management was superb and successfully managed customer issues. The food was good, just not up the previous Mission standards. We will visit again and are certain they will get it right. I give this place a high recommendation for West Seattle, similar to the old Mission.

Order was wrong, service was ok. Not ready for prime time. Hopefully will get better soon or business will suffer.
