The Ruben Sandwich is delicious and decadent enough to share.

Uncle Red's Reuben! My man had already picked up sandwich & I said "No, let me get a pic first" so it was put together when served! Hahaha

I could write a novel about Miss Lucille's, but plenty others have already done so. The food is very good here. Love the salads. Love the bowls. Relaxing environment and plenty of seating. It does tend to get very busy. However, it is a little pricey side. But not totally unreasonable for a once in a while, shopping experience.I highly recommend going for one of their sip and shop events. They serve wonderful cocktails that you can walk around with while shopping at the various boutiques. And invariably, I cannot leave Miss Lucille shops without at least one thing in my basket. this is one of those places that I like to go with my daughter-in-law for a fun lunch date and shopping. They also have good coffee and delicious sweet treats to indulge. Not to mention they have wonderful tea as well. I would definitely come here if you want something a little different and you don't mind that it is just a bit pricey. It's comfort food, dressed up a little with a side of fun antique and handicraft shopping.

Last Friday, I was scrolling on Yelp looking for a new place to try out. I saw a picture of Picky Eunice's Salad and it was ON! I really didn't look any further or study the menu because I knew what I wanted. So my husband drives us and we ride by this area all the time and never knew there's a few places hidden back there that I want to go back and try. But our GPS tells us to turn on Madison Street somewhere around Sonic. With all the drive throughs and businesses crammed there, we missed the little lane and had to drive out of one of those parking lots. But it would've been much easier to turn left at the light and it would've been the first left with arrows pointing to Miss Lucille's. We were hungry and didn't feel like shopping in the marketplace. But that huge warehouse looking building behind Sonic is the location. The parking lot is huge and there are several other businesses at that location as well. I forget the name of the restaurant/bar, but it's on the opposite side of that complex. I want to try their burger one day, but today it's all about Miss Lucille's. There was a line, but it didn't take long to wait to order. Plus, that gave us time to look over the menu. They had a special that day. It was Rachel's sandwich. It was like a Reuben, but made with turkey instead of corned beef. It was served w/chips and a pickle spear. We decided to get our food to go and wanted to split my salad and his sandwich special. I'm glad we did that. That sandwich was pretty big and tasty. My Picky Eunice's Salad was exactly what I thought it would be. Delicious. Just kinda small. I went outside where there's outdoor seating just to snap a couple of pics and send a couple of emails and when I came back inside, the cashier that took our order brought us our food. He was very friendly and efficient. So Miss Lucille's food is basically stuff like soup/salad/sandwiches. I left off a star because nothing really wowed me and my salad was small for it to be $11. But I'm not complaining.

We have eaten here just a couple times and while it is on the pricier side, the food is great! The nachos are always on point and the tomato basil soup and chicken salad sandwich this visit was perfect. The wait does take a bit longer than usual on the weekends, only because everyone wants to eat and shop. It was about $40 for the nachos, the soup and sandwich. Not bad for good food, but again, not the cheapest. The cafe itself has vast seating and a lot of family style tables. Even on a busy day you can still find a place to sit and enjoy the meal.

The food was super tasty and quite filling. I brought half of mine home. My daughter specifically loved the mango lemonade. There were so many cute little shops and I had no idea all this was back here. We will definitely be back to try the saddie Mae grilled cheese and tomato basil soup next time. This time we got a Cuban and a pizza boat and they did not disappoint. My daughter said this was her new favorite place :) place is very clean and the service was very courteous and efficient. Can't wait to go back :) and we both got super soft hoodies from one of the shops. The wax melt booth smells soooo good but I've gotta reach out to the booth owner to find out some ingredients before I go down that rabbit hole of goodies. The toasted marshmallow and the "butt naked" melts were my fave

We come here quite a bit, the food is great. It's a little tucked away so we honestly forget about it but the food is delicious! The hours are very short though so it's more of a late breakfast/lunch place.

I've eaten at Miss Lucille's twice with my sister and both times we ordered the Ruben Sandwich and a salad to split. The Ruben is delicious as I suspect their other sandwiches are as well. I will happily return for a sandwich here. Their customer service is lovely, and the patio outback is quite pleasant. This is why I give the 3 stars. However, I will never order a salad here again and wouldn't recommend anyone order one. I'd give them 0 stars for their salads. For $12+, all you get is a big plate of lettuce with a teaspoon (if that) of any toppings. We ordered the chopped salad today. Not a chopped salad. It was a plate of lettuce with (maybe) a teaspoon each of tomato, avocado, bacon and feta cheese. And the dressing that came with it was just sweet, purple goo. Awful, to say the least. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. There won't be a third with any salad at Miss Lucille's Cafe.

Kinda felt like I stepped back in time at this cute Antique shop that also has a little coffee shop in the corner and cafe. We got there when the cafe opened at 11am. Picked up a two sided paper lunch menu at the entrance. They had lots of sandwiches and salads on the menu. Being celiac I stuck to a strawberry salad no meat and salad dressing on the side. I also ordered the strawberry basil lemonade. Everything was really good and fresh. We sat outside on the patio. There was also lots of indoor seating. I'm giving this place 5 stars because it's so unique and felt kinda like being at Grandma's house. Wish I could have tried some of the yummy desserts but they weren't gluten free. Definitely will be back. Would recommend trying for something different and not a franchise.

*Okay, so my review is strictly for the coffee portion! I'm not sure if I'm even reviewing in the correct spot.I'm not a local, just house hunting in the area. The only way I actually knew there was coffee in here is because someone happened to tell me to check it out during my visit. I did not try any food, nor had the chance to check out the antiques.Anyway, I walked in and was greeted by the lady working. She was very pleasant and eaily struck up a conversation with me, complimented my wedding ring, and basically just made me feel like we were bffs-- so that was nice! I also work in coffee, so this chick was able to answer a couple questions I had. However, I do think the menu is slightly misleading. I purchased the snickerdoodle latte-- got it cold-- and there was no 'cinnamon infused milk,' nor did I recieve any 'house-made whipped cream.' So this drink appears way more boujee than 'hey, I've got whole milk with some cinnamon thrown in there and tell me if you want whip, otherwise you ain't getting shit!' Either way, I wasn't gonna waste a lid cause I hate when people ask me for whip after the fact. The latte itself was good. It definitely needed to be mixed more, as I got pockets of different flavors upon my first couple sips. The shots were fresh, which was nice, but also made my drink temperature warmer than I anticipated. Maybe a couple more ice cubes and a good stir would have helped. Either way, I sucked that stuff down cause it was way better than the cigarette flavored trash my hotel tried to pass as coffee. Once I move here, I drfinitely plan on coming back. I enjoy supporting locals vs chains like Starbucks... even if these people seem hipster af.
