Title: Disappointing DeclineReturned to Soul of India after 3-4 years with high hopes, but sadly, the quality has dropped. The food was either bland or overly salty, lacking flavor, almost like frozen meals. The chicken dishes were dry and hard to swallow. This used to be one of the best Indian spots. Now, just 3 out of 5 stars.

I don't leave reviews often, but this was a truly bad dining experience. I eat Indian food a good amount, so I am quite familiar with it and know what good Indian food is. And this is not that. First off, the dishes are made with frozen vegetables. We ordered a 15$ vegetable dish which was a variety of pre frozen carrots, green beans, cauliflower, and peas. When I asked the server if they were fresh, he said yes, and denied they were ever frozen. I know they were frozen because I can easily tell the difference. (Soft, waterlogged vegetables with uniform carrot cuts, etc.). But instead of acknowledging that I was gas lit to believe they were indeed fresh. We ordered an aloo gobi that was basically a curry dish with potato in it (not what aloo gobi is). Also it had the frozen cauliflower. All their potato dishes had soft, mushy, bad tasting potato in it. Including the filling of the dosa and samosa. And they served our rice dish cold.Overall I would stay far away from this place

Great food! Good ambiance! The mango yogurt is to die for. Simply an amazing place. Will go back if ever in the area again.

This was my first time trying out this establishment and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The decor was average indian restaurant decor. Our waiter Narindra, was super friendly from the get-go and he didn't take long for us to order and bring us our food. We had ordered the following dishes: Tandoori roti, cheese Naan, ginger chicken, and paneer Tikka masala. I asked for my entrees to be medium spice and they were perfectly medium for my taste.The ginger chicken would have to be my favorite from everything that I had ordered. I think it would go best with an entree that has a sauce like we had ordered in my picture. This is because it is more of a dry dish but not dry like popcorn chicken or something. Overall, I would rate this whole experience a 5/5 and I would definitely return.

Hard place to review. They have a large take out clientele and over half were from the Indian subcontinent. Normally a good sign. I had the chicken vindaloo which is a tomato base curry very hot and served with potatoes. Well it had all the ingredients but was quite mild. Did they make it mild for the non-Indian clients? The garlic naan delicious and the rice your standard basmati rice.

We were going back to our home in NJ from Maine and passing through Marlborough, it was dinner time and we were craving Indian food after 5 days of having other cuisines. googled and found this - just 10 min detourit's huge, but at first glance looked empty... not sure what their arrangements are... though we got the table but waited for a period for 'acknowledge we were there-- server to come-- place the order -- food on the table - it was too much (50 minutes) and finishing the food - 5 minutes :D. we asked the server -hey can we have another naan - and he honestly replied- 'sir it will take 8-10 minutes - and we ditched the idea... only 2 servers were handling 8-10 tables.anyway We orderedGoat fry Biryani - good tasteNatukodi Curry - goodMirchi nation SPL Ginger chicken - go for it. something unique that you don't get in other Indian restaurants, just a suggestion - make the layer crispy - it was all soggy when it reached our tableThe food (4/5) was really good except for service (1.5/5), pls work on it. Also, The prices on their menu are incorrect (on the website).

We enjoyed our time here albeit with some communication issues during the ordering process. My favorites were the samosas, garlic naan, and veggie korma. Some of the other items seemed a little bit more salty than they should be like the butter chicken and the saag and lamb. But it was still a good time together.

Awesome place to try out pretty authentic Indian cuisine. Fairly priced and great customer service. Covers a lot of South Indian specialty items and regular North Indian delicacies. They have two halls and so there is unlikely shortage of space. The ambience is casual and can become loud with happy customers. Recommended and my Goto place for small office parties too.

I was starving man after helping out in yard. Mom and Dad pushed me . We stopped by mirchi nation and ordered veg and non veg thaali . The veg one was a little boring. The non veg one was fine . Ambience is just fine but service was good nice friendly people .

No frills. Good Indian/Pakistani food. Great for take out. Pricing was reasonable too.
