I was visiting a friend in San Diego and I had seen someone post about this place on my IG feed. I'm a sucker for pink, especially a pink matcha so I knew I would have to check this place out. It is super duper cute and I can imagine their afternoon tea is really cute as well. I ended up ordering the pink "Miracle" matcha and I absolutely loved it. The rose petals and the little edible butterfly were super cute and the matcha was really good. You can get it iced or warm and with the milk of your liking. I'm a dairy queen I got cow milk. The croissant was flaky and nice. I also did have the cinnamon roll and it was also tasty. The pastries are good but I would say it's not something I would drive all the way to San Diego from OC for! I did enjoy it though. The servers were very kind. They seemed rather busy, as I think orchestrating the afternoon tea for them can be a lot! Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.

From the outside, this shop is super cute with its all-pink decor--definitely a unique spot in the downtown San Diego area, near Little Italy. The menu is versatile, featuring everything from coffees and hot chocolate to pastries. However, I found that the aesthetic appeal of the place outweighed the quality of the offerings. My sister discovered this place on Instagram, where they showcased their afternoon tea. The ordering process was okay, and it's clear that the place can get busy. Unfortunately, the quality of the drinks was just average. I tried the iced vanilla latte, and it was a solid 5 out of 10--neither the best nor the worst I've had. The long straws were a bit of a novelty and perhaps a bit impractical; I should have taken a photo of them. The pastries were fine but nothing special, and while they are served on cute plates if you dine in, the food quality was just average--similar to what you might find in a grocery store rather than from a fresh bakery. My sister's sandwich was quite overpriced, though it may just reflect the going rate. You can choose to sit downstairs or upstairs, and they'll find you when your order is ready, though the service was a bit slow. The upstairs area has a beautiful aesthetic, which is ideal for afternoon tea. Overall, while it's a cute spot with a fun vibe, I wouldn't return for the food or drinks. If you're not into the all-pink theme, you might want to pass. The lighting upstairs wasn't great for photos either. It's worth seeing for the decor, but I can't recommend the menu

Cutest little pink coffee shop! I got the pink matcha which was very refreshing on a hot day. Located so close to the harbor - a nice walk over! The barista was kind and helpful. Drinks are reasonably priced - and PINK! So cute. Loved the little butterfly in the drink. The straws were also heart-shaped! Highly recommend this shop for a pink drink experience. Bathrooms are clean as well!

WHAT A PICK-ME-UPPER(5 stars)Within a hour I can feel lifeless to full-of-life and then some. I spent an additional 4hrs coding and writing automation scripts (for fun, for my friend, for her job). Got to thank this "Miracle Potion" for that. - FOOD/DRINK: surprisingly yummy- PRICE: fair- SERVICE: excellent (pls tip them!)- AMBIANCE: very pink and feminine. So pink it can make someone puke. I love it! :: LOCATION ::Heart of downtown. There is always construction on the street close by so expect to find no parking - unless you come early AM. I drive by this place all the time and assumed this is just another social media worthy coffee shop. Oh it is but much more to offer! They have coffees, teas, pastries, Patisseries, Afternoon Tea service, and cute decor perfect for social media photo and video ops. Plus points, they have a dog water bowl set when they open and have a container of dog treats for dogs. :: ORDER ::COLD BREW ($6.00) - The cold brew was in a can. Poured into a plastic cup, added milk (optional), and vanilla (optional). I thought I was going to need extra sugar and half and half but it was the perfect sweet of not being overly sweet (or overly bitter) - nicely balanced. It was the perfect cold brew needed on a very warm and sunny morning. HIGHLY RECOMMEND RED BERRY MASCARPONE PATISSERIE ($12.50) - Gluten Free (GF) vanilla cake, raspberry, and mascarpone mouse. I love me some sweets. Although they do offer pastries, they do offer a few Patisseries. This was SO heavenly. It's constructed by 4 layers - top layer (red) has the raspberry flavor, not too sweet and a little note of tartiness but subtle, next layer (cream) was a creamy mascarpone, the next layer(light purple) wasraspberry mascarpone, and the bottom layer (creamy yellow) was a very thin layer of vanilla cake. It was like slicing into air and eating foam. Garnished with an average tasting rectangle shaped chocolate. So simple yet amazing. HIGHLY RECOMMENDThere is a fine difference (in my book) between pastries and patisseries and my preference would be patisseries. Yes, they technically mean the same thing if you are looking at the word's translation but patisserie has so much more soul to it... (if you know, you know). They are more beautiful and elegant looking pastries with a detailed construction of flavor profiles to make something look and taste amazing. The Patisseries here looked so familiar... as their vendor they use Figaro Dessert Cafe (or share the same vendor with Figaro) for their Patisseries.:: THE GEEK IN ME ::I don't consider myself a coffee (bean) connoisseur but my friends joke and consider me as one. Little history, in college I drank a lot of coffee, lattes, and cappuccinos (couple times a day) because l went to college in "coffee capital" (aka Seattle) and was always at various coffee shops. Also, one of my first jobs in college was stepping in as a barista. There I have reason to be a Geek. I love coffee shops that are roasters. And I love it more when coffee shops sell decaf beans that are SWP. And i love it even more when it's a good bean (in the way "I judge a bean"). Although I had a cold brew, it didn't really allow me to taste their beans to give a full in depth overview. I did ask questions... most of the time, most shops/people cannot answer because they have no clue what I'm talking about (I'm weird and nerdy like that!). I asked about bean strength (this could mean many things to people). I got "it's medium - not too strong" (I interpret that as medium roast). Do you have decaf and is it SWP? Nobody asks my kind of weird questions, if they are they are biting my style 100%!!!! I was told the beans come from Columbia(?) and defer to ask the owner - so this remains an open question for now. I wanted to look at the package but none were around. However, I saw posted roaster dates on the box! Plus points, they roast their own beans... don't matter where the beans come from if that be Columbia or Planet Mars. They roast locally! I'm having a difficult time sleeping (without any jitters all day). Awake and on here writing my biography + coffee for followers/friends/strangers/stalkers. That's one sign of good beans and will agree it is a medium roast. JABA APPROVED. Will be back soon ... just because this place is so damn cute.

Such a cute coffee shop I'm happy I finally got to try. The location is perfect and I found free parking right in front. I ordered some type of iced latte with oat milk and it was good! Friendly staff and beautiful aesthetic. Next time I'll try afternoon tea!

How freaking cute is this place?! We went here on a Saturday morning before exploring the city, and they helped us and made our drinks super quick. I got the Pink Miracle Matcha Tea Latte, and I thought it was really good! I will say that the matcha is a little bit muted, so if you're looking for a strong matcha flavor, this might not be it for you. The decor is all pink, and it's a super cute instagrammable place!

Thank you Maria for a wonderful experience! My friend & I came here on a weekday morning for Afternoon Tea. The cafe is so cute & pink. There is additional seating upstairs & Maria said they also do yoga there.Matcha: So good! Creamy & lightly sweet.Afternoon Tea: 3 tiers. Savory bites, scones, sweets, everything was tasty. You think you will not get full but surprisingly, you do!At the time that we went, we made a resy & I believe you still have to for Afternoon Tea so they can bake everything fresh.
