Can't get enough of this placeMy sis and I went for Ann Kim's New Year's Eve dinner and it was delicious! 7 courses of off menu Korean food. So good and really fun to try different stuff from her. The courses were really well timed, the ambiance as usual was great. Fun service, we got to speak with Ann and some of the chefs too. Made for a nice chill evening with great food.Somehow I also managed to snag the last parking spot in the lot which was a huge bonus! We've been to a few of her pre set dinner events and they're always delicious !

I have heard about this spot for months from my team members and finally made reservations a month in advance. We were seated in the restaurant and I immediately loved the vibe. It is very unassuming from the outside.we ordered some drinks and apps. We stared off with the three different radish kimchi which were surprisingly good! I even liked the one made out of beets and I don't like beets!I also really liked the chili glazed prawns and the LA Kalbi. Those are fabulous! We also tried the cauliflower and the chewy rice cakes and cheese.Next followed the Pizza's! Hands down my favorite was the pickled pie and the my sharoni! Lots of others loved the Korean BBQ and the La Parisienne but I'll let you judge which one is better! After we ordered a bunch of deserts to share. I really liked the presentation of the milk and cookies but enjoyed the ice cream trio.had a great time here and the food is great too!

Young Joni has been a stable for me since I moved to the Twin Cities. The Korean BBQ pizza is that bish and I recommend it to everyone. Unfortunately for me, I gave up beef, so I had to try other options this time. The Parisienne was delicious and the breakfast pizza wasn't bad as well. Love the ambiance and there's a little parking lot on the side of the building or ample street parking if the lot is full.

I came here with some friends for dinner and had the best time! The low lighting atmosphere creates an upscale yet comfortable vibe. All of the staff were helpful and efficient. We did not have a reservation but we only had to wait about 20 minutes for a table, so we really appreciated that! Our group shared the chicken wings, sweet potatoes, tavern pizza, and short rib pizza. We couldn't leave without dessert, so we ordered ice cream and carrot cake. Young Joni has been around for a long time; it's obvious they know what they're doing and they do it well!

I was down the street with a friend for dinner and remembered Young Joni having a speakeasy bar in the back. We walked down the alley passed the red light and there's a door. Same color as the building. Open that and you'll enter a waiting room that's separated by a glass wall showing their liquor storage. Once someone comes out to greet you, check your ID, they'll open the door to another room. The green furniture and wooden walls gave me a nostalgic feeling of someone's grandma house when I was little. We were given a deck of baseball cards, which was their cocktail menu. They also have a full bar if nothing on the menu suits your taste. My friend and I both ordered zero proof cocktail. They were pretty tasty. Would definitely have to come back another time again.

I'm not sure how but this place truly gets better and better! We walked into the back bar at the perfect time when two seats opened on a Friday night. Definitely get a reservation here for an intimate and warm environment. Pizza was super quick and the drinks are baseball card themed! If you're a tequila lover definitely try the Second Base, it's a sweet sipper but I think one of my favorite drinks in the cities. The pickle pizza is unique and fun!

Last night had a little date night at young Joni, we sat at the bar and had really good service. I had the pickle pizza with potato chips on top and I added the fennel sausage. It was to die for. I also had their mezcal drink that was perfectly fruity and sweet. We also had the Korean bbq pizza that I highly recommend

I think this place was over hyped for me. The fact that I could never get a reservation and people raved about it made my expectations go through the roof...which may be why my experience was disappointing. When we arrived, we were happy to find a feee parking lot! Walking inside, the ambiance was really nice!! For appetizers - we Tried the califlower and kimchi. We didn't see our server for a long time after we placed our app order. Someone dropped off our kimchi but no cauliflower. When our server finally came, I asked about the cauliflower and she said abruptly (Rudely) replied 'I put the order in!' She could have said 'it will be here in just a minute' or 'let me check on that' but she must have been having a bad day!We Didn't like the kimchi. Ive ordered kimchi at another restaurant and loved it so I was excited to sample three different types, but didn't like any of them. Our Cauliflower was really good. Kind of a small portion for the price IMO. I wish our server would have recommended stirring it up before we ate it because the first bites were bland but then we discovered a sauce at the bottom of the bowl that was delicious. I ordered the Korean BBQ pizza and it was pretty good. They offer Such interesting pizza choices! Wish I could have ordered by the slice to try a bunch of them! My husband had the wings and thought they were great. We shared the ice cream with olive oil/sea salt. I'd probably ask for a little less salt next time but the olive oil/ice cream was strangely delicious! It was our anniversary but they don't do anything special for that. We purchased a ticket for the Picture machine but it was broken so we didn't get a pic and didn't get our money back either.I would recommend this place to someone who loves interesting pizza flavors and a nice ambiance.

I came here with a friend on a Sunday right when they opened. I was able to park right in the front of the restaurant with free street parking. There was also a parking lot adjacent to the restaurant. I had tried to make a reservation prior to arriving but there were none available. Since we didn't have a reservation we were offered to sit either at the bar or at a community table. We chose to sit at the bar. The bartender was friendly and helpful. We ordered the Grilled Chicken Wings and the La Parisienne pizza. Both were just okay to me. For my drink I ordered the Julep. It was nice and refreshing. The restaurant had a nice aesthetic

Honestly one of the best restaurants in the twin cities easily!! The food was amazing and the service. It's definitely worth the price. Along with the music and how dim the inside of the restaurant has the perfect ambiance!
