Chicken egg fu young and ma po tofu are superlative. Sauces on both dishes are loaded with extra ingredients. No wonder there was a steady stream of to go customers. Next visit we will try chow fun and lo mein. If they are as good I'll move this place to the top of the Asian food list.

Battered chicken is delicious (sweet and sour & sesame), i recommend the chicken dishes. Beef fried rice was okay, the beef was gummy colored light gray. Their specialty fried rice was something i wish we never got, it was white rice with snap peas and 6 shrimps. Cream cheese wonton was good.

A family favorite! I've never been here when there haven't been people lined up for carry out, so you know the food's good. I'll admit, I've ordered the exact same meal since I was a small child: sesame chicken and egg drop soup. The egg drop soup isn't the most flavorful (although it's high on my list of comfort foods, likely for nostalgia's sake) but the sesame chicken!! It's truly a feast for the senses: crunchy, sweet, spicy if you want it to be, with the most incredible glaze. The past few times I've been, the restaurant's been short staffed, so it's a good thing the food comes out fast! The seating area's small with the same decor and Chinese zodiac menus they've had for as long as I can remember. That may not impress some people, but I don't think any of that matters compared to the fond memories my family's made at Yang's. We're all proud to be loyal customers.

I was leaning towards 3 stars, but thought about their service and had to bump it up a notch. Yang's is a Woodbury staple. It's been around forever and has consistently been good. If you're craving Chinese food, and a step up from Panda Express, Yang's is the place to go! My go-to here is the sesame chicken. Typical breaded and fried chicken pieces but it is delicious! This time around, we ordered the cream cheese wontons, definitely will pass on those next time. Their service is great. Our server was so observant and filled our drinks quickly without us needing to even ask. She was attentive the whole time we were there. Their decor needs to be updated but that detail is minor!

Woodbury remains a dead spot for Chinese food in my opinion. Based on the reviews and the fact they have been around for so long I had hopes it would at least be a 3 star experience I could make work for those nights I'm just craving Chinese takeout close by. Sadly it was not. I dined in on a Friday night with a handful of other folks scattered about the tables. I ordered the combination fried rice and the beef chow fun. I was really impressed when I saw the food as it had the look of quality Chinese food. Unfortunately that was where it ended. After a couple of bites of the fried rice I realized it lacked any real flavor and was mushy. I should have known from how mushy the side of white rice was. See uncle Rogers TikTok for the right way to make fried rice... "if it's soggy you #%*# up!"The beef chow fun had great texture and plenty of beef but had no flavor and I had to douse it with soy sauce and chili oil to make it palatable. The hunt continues for even mediocre Chinese in the new digs...

When going for Chinese food, it's all about the food. Ordered take out with chicken chow mein, sweet and sour pork, fried rice and egg foo young. Everything came looking like it was scooped out of gelatinous tubs! The chicken chow mein was more like a celery stew with very little boiled chicken sprinkled on top. It was gross, and the plastic bag of crispy chow mein that you're supposed to sprinkle on it was flavorless. Everything else was the similarly poor. I was very disappointed. a waste of my hard earned money!

I wasn't thrilled with my most recent experience! I called in an order, asked for Shrimp Lo Mein and Pork fried rice. He didn't ask what size I wanted. I just assumed they would give me a single order. Nope! I got THE most expensive one. When I picked it up, it was $34. When I got home, I realized the sizes were a pint and quart, and he somehow assumed I wanted $15 worth of fried rice. So learn from my experience! Specify your size or they're going to give you the most expensive one. Orrrrrrr...Yangs could just ask you to specify what size you want, and quit making assumptions.

Had a bad experience a couple years ago dining in, but this place has come back to life again, to the point I'm eating here for sure twice a month!!Best two things in my opinion are Kong pow chicken, and sesame chicken . Don't recommend getting the egg rolls or cream cheese wontons because they're not good, but if you stick with sesame chicken and Kong Pow chicken, they're probably the best in the Twin Cities once again!! Both of those dishes are five out of five. Don't like that it's yet another Chinese restaurant that charges you for a credit card which seems to be a new standard at Chinese restaurants for some reason?? even though they're agreeing to the terms of the credit card machine and not supposed to charge extra. The charge is supposed to be on the business not the customer.
