Went to Wildwood Sports Bar and Grill last night to watch some college football. They have plenty of TVs and are willing to accommodate if what you want isn't on. Shoutout to Mikayla who was an excellent server and attentive to our needs. The food was great and they have a good selection of beers on tap and other cocktails (I'd recommend a peach tea with a shot of Makers). We ordered the cheese curds which were great and 6 boneless wings. These pieces of chicken were quite large! And you can get 2 sauces. I went with the Cowboy which was buffalo and BBQ together and also the Cajun dry rub. I enjoyed them both. Finished the evening off with another drink and the brownie sundae. Thanks Wildwood!

We stopped in for an early supper on Monday. We found the place pretty quiet at that time, the main room spacious. Our server, Mary, was fantastic throughout our visit. My husband tried two different Octoberfest beers while I was happy to find local Loon Juice cider on the menu. We started off with the cheese curds appetizer. They were fantastic. You know the curds are fresh and done right when they squeak! My husband had the Tailgater hamburger, which is like a maxxed-out Juicy Lucy: the burger is stuffed with cheese, bacon, AND bratwurst. He loved it, and the garlic fries alongside were great, too. I decided to be brave and try one of the taco plates. I'm from California and just lived a long stint in Arizona, and I have not been... impressed with Minnesota takes on Mexican food. These shrimp tacos and their accompanying chips, though, restored my faith. They were packed with flavor and many different textures. It was messy, yes, but so very good. We left, full and happy. We'd definitely come here again.

We chose the Best Western for our one-nite visit to Rochester, partly because another Yelper mentioned the adjacent restaurant. I'm a fan of dining close to where we're sleeping. I'd say we chose wisely. It's a spacious and well appointed restaurant. I would prefer automatic doors but at least they're not heavy and the threshold is not very high so the access is okay. Our server, Mary was on the ball and very accommodating. She was tuned into my wife's vegan diet and even checked with the chef to ensure compliance. The meal was flawless. I took the chicken/ potato salad special. The potato salad was delicious. I also appreciated the accessible restroom. Mary was also knowledgeable about the area and talked about a nearby attraction we planned to visit the next day. Overall, this was a highlight of our little trip.

I was working nearby today, so I thought I'd check out Wildwood for lunch!I tried the duck poppers, which consists of duck breast & cream cheese, wrapped in bacon, & topped with a raspberry-chipotle sauce. They were delicious! The duck was tender & the bacon was crispy. The raspberry-chipotle was sweet, with a hint of chipotle. Near the restrooms, there is a mirror similar to those found at carnivals, which makes your body look funny. There were at least 20 beers on tap, along with a full service bar. There's a Bloody Mary bar on the weekends. Other things I noticed were a dart machine, Touch Tunes, a few games for the kids, and lots of televisions. There's also a breathalyzer machine on site. I noticed the ceiling fans have a lot of dust gathered on them. However, the rest of the restaurant was very clean. The restaurant has two locations, one in Rochester, and one in Byron. They also sell their sauces & seasoning rubs to the public!

Food - I tried the smash burger special. It was delicious, messy, and everything you would like about a bar burger. I would definitely order it again. The fries were a bit different cut of potato but were hit and tasty. Price on special was an excellent value. Service - Went on a Saturday while watching the 1st Viking Preseason game. Staff worked hard to find the game, they had lots of specials to try, and service at the bar was great. Ambiance - I am from outside Rochester and the location is attached to a hotel in the back so a bit hard to find as you won't see it if you park on the hotel side. The Bar was large, plenty of tables, TV's, and again there were many appealing options in both the menu and drink specials that made the Wildwood a winner for watching football on a Saturday. I had a good time and the Vikings won, so it was fun.

Arrived on a Monday night at a SPORTS BAR in Minnesota. A big NFC North football game ( Detroit Lions) is on ( Vikings record is 4-0; Lions 2-1). 10 TV screens have the Tennessee Titans/ Miami Dolphins game on (AFC). I asked to watch a game I assumed most Vikings fans would be interested in. After two requests , the bartender said he was busy and would put it on "when had time". 2 minutes later, he put the Lions game on 2 TV screens. The Titans/Dolphins game remained on 8 screens. I'm not sure if anyone has a clue in this place. Oh yea, the food was average at best, not bad, but no better than average There are better places within 1 mile of this place

Spent $50 on 3 appetizers that were worth about $10 max. Bacon wrapped duck was just disgusting. Boneless wings have a crumb-like breading that was not good. The quality of the chicken was good just not the weird breading. The pretzel bites came with a soupy cheese that was disappointing. Don't waste your money here.
