There really wasn't anything here I disliked. It was all really great food, with plenty of choices so you can't go wrong. I think my only negative on the food was how it was served. The burgers and fries all came in these paper wrappings, which made it a little bit harder to share. A minor negative, but especially when we're also eating picnic style I just didn't want to run the risk of something spilling all over.As far as service, it is counter service/ordering. They're pretty quick, but don't expect white glove service. The vibes match that as well - picnic tables and benches for seating. I liked that they had covered the seating so it wasn't impossibly cold, but I wish they had turned on the heaters when we went, it was chilly!

Updated! They worked out the kinks that had me give them a lower rating last time. Wells Roadside is fantastic! They have a casual and family-friendly atmosphere to go along with their wagyu burgers, fries, and desserts! The service is friendly and the food comes out quickly! Two months ago when I went you had to order everything at the window, desserts etc. When there is a long line that's pretty frustrating if you want to order dessert later. BUT NOW not only do they have QR codes to order from your table - they also have online ordering and take-out! Bravo!! It was nice to eat my dinner, again fantastic, and then order dessert without having to get back in line!!! Highly recommend WELLS Roadside, even in the winter, it's all enclosed!

I decided to try out Wells Roadside after seeing some social media buzz and brought my pup along seeing it was dog-friendly with an outdoor patio. First off, the location is pretty convenient with it being close to the highway. The parking lot is limited, but there is neighborhood parking, which I didn't have trouble with. For the food, it's relatively inexpensive. I liked the crisp bites on the fries and burger was pretty tasty. The pup enjoyed his treat as well. I was too full to try any drinks and dessert so that will be for another trip.Lastly the service was great. They were friendly and the food came out quick with barely a wait. Overall, it's a great casual spot to get food quick or catchup with a small group.

First time at Wells Roadside and I can't think of a burger that gives you better bang for your buck. I got the Double Oklahoma Smash (double smash patty, grilled onions, American cheese), Hand Cut Fries, and a Dr. Pepper. Everything was very good. I think I was the only person in the seating area without a milkshake, so guessing that's a winner too. Service was quick and friendly, parking is better than it looks from Highway 7, and everything was clean. I'll be back!

Burgers and fries? Twist my arm. Ok, I'm in.We got single and double smash burgers and a double with no cheese/bun, etc. for the kids. We got 2 orders of fries, too. One order probably would have been enough as the little sack of fries was deceiving as it does not look that big, but the fries are super thin, so they pack a ton of them into a small packageThe burgers were very good. Supposedly Wagyu, but didn't really taste like it. All good though, as the burgers were very tasty and not super greasy, which sometimes happens with Wagyu. The fries were nice and crispy/chewy and well salted. There is plenty of enclosed and heated outdoor seating for the colder temps, but I am sure this will be great when all the covers are peeled back for a nice summer evening meal.

First of all, I love the transformation compared to the last place that was here! They have a very cool and modern indoor dining area that has both fans and heaters, to accommodate all seasons. They also have some tables outside for the warmer months. I was pleasantly surprised that this is no longer a drive in like the last restaurant. When you get inside, you can order for either dine in or take out. The good: it is very kid and dog friendly, similar to the other restaurants owned by the same group. We also really liked the soft serve which can be served in a cup or no one and you can select a syrup flavor as well, if you want. Also, we all loved the French fries! We ordered 2 orders of fries for 4 people but we could barely get through 1 order, so the portions are generous. The not so good: as I mentioned, this place is very kid-friendly, when we were there each table has at least one kid. It would be nice if they had a kid's meal type offering which makes ordering easier. And finally, and this part makes me sad, the burgers and hot dogs were mediocre at best. I had the Oklahoma single - overall good textures but there was a very odd smell and flavor - not sure if there was too much pepper or some other seasoning but it wasn't good, I only ate about half of it. The burger was also a bit on the underdone side, which is unusual for a smash burger. Also, the hot dog was strange - the cut the sausage down the middle, which is fine but unexpected and the hot dog bun is covered in poppy seeds, which is not appetizing and unnecessary. Overall, we tried our best to power through the burgers and hot dogs just so we could get to the best part, the ice cream. We will probably be back for ice cream but that's about it.

Had to try out the new drive in spot by Craft & Crew. Overall delicious food, but a couple things that could improve. HOW TO GET THEREGoogle maps took us to an exit instead of the entrance, which was annoying. We turned our car around on the narrow residential street to go into the correct entrance and I submitted my suggestion for updating the entrance on google maps. When we parked, we weren't sure what the cone symbol meant in the spots, so we just parked in an open spot with the symbol. Still not sure if that's a cute symbol or if it means ice cream customers only. ORDERINGWaited in line at 5:30 pm on a Tuesday for 15-20 minutes, and it was difficult to see the menu. It would be great if the menu was posted in other places than TV screens just above the ordering spot. There's only one cashier and spot to order, so combined with the one menu it can take a while for customers to order. The service was very kind and obviously doing their best to get everyone through. I saw the cashier let the couple in front of us preorder their ice cream so they didn't have to come back and wait in line again for 20 min - that would be a great option to add if they can hack it. PRICEWe ordered a double Oklahoma Smash with pickle, single Wells smash LTOP, a side of fries, a side of fries with benefits, a fountain drink, and a regular shake. Without tip it came out to $40. A single burger is only $5.99, but to get extras like tomato, onion, pickle, it costs extra, along with fries not being included. I liked that they had mayo as a self serve spot in the back, and that there were dog bowls and water available for free. FOODThe food was great! We devoured it all pretty quickly. If you've been to Stanley's, The Block, or any other Craft & Crew spot, you know the quality of the food is 5/5. AMBIANCEThe amount of bugs around was a bummer. We were constantly swatting flies and wasps away, and that led us to leave sooner than we would've otherwise. It's an outdoor restaurant so you expect a bit of this anyway. A good amount of seating and fairly accessible for people in wheelchairs or walkers. Fun seating choices - you can choose between tables with chairs, high tops, or picnic tables. No photos because it was packed and didn't want to post people without their knowledge!!RECO?All in all, it was fun and I do reco it. Looking forward to seeing how they improve. Maybe try it for lunch or not during the dinner rush if you'd rather not wait in line!

We've passed the creation of Wells Roadside all summer, so when it finally opened, we were ready to go! Plenty of street parking. Limited space in the parking lot, but not much they can do about it. Hopefully the sidewalks stay clear over the winter for easy access. The food was very fast and affordable. We really enjoyed the French fries. I got the salad, which was delicious! I wish there was a vegetarian burger option that wasn't fake meat - perhaps there will be a black bean burger in Wells' future? My partner ordered the Oklahoma Smash and really enjoyed it!My highlight was the Cold Brew Float. I felt like it was a must get since it is unique. I was worried it wouldn't be too tasty, but once the ice cream melted a bit, it was delicious! We have plans to come back and try some of the alcoholic drinks and other ice cream treats in the future. We are particularly looking forward to the heated interior once it gets colder outside. We would recommend Wells for a quick, affordable meal!

We've seen this place all over social media because it's a new spot that opened up, so we decided to check it out. This building has a beautiful design, and the service was good. We visited on a Friday around one in the afternoon, and it was busy, but we were able to find a table. However, the food is just okay. We got the Oklahoma burger and the blackened salmon sandwich. You do have to order your fries and drink separately. They charge for refills on the soda, and there are two separate lines for the food and the drinks. The fries are just fries; and I'm not entirely sold on the fry sauce. The highlight of this visit was the Margarita. It was strong, had a bit of a spicy kick, and was a decent size. Additionally, this food is very inexpensive, but parking is limited. We did have to park on the street.
