If you want small town, hole-in-the-wall bar with amazing food, this is your place. They have amazing burgers, pizza and a Friday fish fry. All their soups are made in house and the potato salad is house made weekly (It's amazing). The service can be slow at times but keep in mind that during the week the bartender is also the cook. The owner is an amazing person and the locals are good people!! If you're in the area stop in and give it a try.

Forget the dipshits with the same last initial who wrote 1-star reviews. Not sure what they were on but they really missed the mark.So, what's up with the Wagon Wheel? It's a small-town local place. If that's a problem, head to the nearest McDonalds instead. This is a place that's largely unchanged over the last couple of decades and that suits most people just fine. This is a place for the locals - I get the sense you're welcome even if you're not a local but please don't make an ass of yourself and ruin it for others who stumble upon this place.To say that Brill, WI is off the beaten path is an understatement. One doesn't accidentally find themselves in Brill. Likewise, Brill isn't on the way to anywhere - it's just a small town in the middle of farm fields. Nothing more, nothing less.Worth mentioning - Friday is (by a long shot) the busiest day of the week for them. It's northern WI and fish fry is king in these parts on Friday nights. The fish fry at Wagon Wheel is among the best in this part of the state. They don't advertise so this place is pretty purely a word-of-mouth find.Breading on the cod is beautifully golden brown and the fish is nicely flaky and light. Broiled is served with drawn butter and almost as good as the fried. Their shrimp in the combo is also really good. For non-fish eaters, you'll be hard-pressed to find a better patty melt within an hour's drive. It's really good! Curds are tasty as well and the beer is always cold.My advice to the dipshits - try acting a little differently and small-town America may be a little more accepting. Slow down and enjoy the experience. It's worth it to take a breath and just enjoy some of the simple things in life.No dessert options but who cares! Went to Pit Stop afterwards and had a great ice cream cone. Recommend the same unless they add dessert options in the future.

This is the worst fish fry I've had in my life.The batter was terrible and greasy...extra pieces of fish $1.75 each....WTF.The fries were greasy and soggy....gross.The roll was the only good part of the dinner. It was very good.

We came here Friday night for the fish fry. It was very busy and it took a while to get our food but we didn't mind. We got drinks first at the bar. The fish is really good fried, baked or half of each. It's a fun place and the bill for 4 of us was only $45. Now that's a deal!

Very friendly service. Friendly local folks who just love to visit. Whether your local or just passing through. Bartenders are fun & down to earth. You always get plenty of food & the food is amazing.

The owner is the hardest working most responsible mother, grandmother and business owner. Almost always available on site. Very fair and there is reasonable pricing on all products . We really recommend the Friday night fish fry - it's been going on for years. Any food that comes out of the deep fryer at this place is absolutely delicious that's one thing they've mastered for sure ! Recommend the Wagon Wheel located in Brill / Oak Grove Township to all your friends and family. (We make the trip from birchwood often)

Friday Fish was great. Just like my parents restaurant fish fry. Service was great too.

Only 1 employee working on a Sunday night? Took an hour to get food as the only people not just drinking.

Nothing fancy, but a great Friday Fish Fry!! And fabulous Brandy Old Fashions....SWEET!!!

Very much a hole in the wall bar, but if that doesn't phase you, the food will be your reward. The fish fry is really tasty and the pizza is one of the better ones in the area.
