Von Hanson's Meats

Always friendly service, good selection, and really good meats across the board. We've never been disappointed by their frozen meals either - lasagna, potatoes, etc.

You know when you go to local breweries and you buy those tasty seasoned pretzels? Well, I was craving them one night and learned that they sell them at Von Hanson's so away I went.They sell those flavored snacks in a larger container for a lower price so I stocked up I can pack them along to my next brewery adventure. As it was my very first in a Von Hanson's I strolled around to see what else they had to offer. While I did not purchase anything else that day I did see multiple delicious looking items that I am pretty sure I will be back to try. Customer service was top notch and served with a sincere smile. While my pretzels and I did not require carry out service I did witness the another customer receiving assistance with their order to the car is please keep that in mind. Please check them out and grab a container (or two) of those seasoned pretzels!

Beautiful selection of fresh meats and frozen entrees. Service is fast and friendly, this spot is ideal for picking up specialties when entertaining. I was even able to pick up some bones for my four legged friend. And Mac and Cheese Brats...Need I say more?!

I would not recommend getting chicken here. They have great customer service, excellent hamburger buns, and my husband loves their meat sticks, but the chicken breasts tasted like rubber and had a very strange texture. Very disappointing paying $10 for 2 pieces of chicken from an actual butcher shop that had to be thrown away! Save your money and go to Cub for boneless skinless chicken breasts!

I'm late with my review but the day before Memorial Day I stopped in to pick up some usual barbecue meats, ground beef hot dogs and chicken.Super friendly service and great tasting food.What more can one ask?

Always an incredible selection! The customer service is absolutely phenomenal. I had multiple questions on how to prepare a few items and the gentleman behind the counter walked around front and had a sincere conversation on what he would do!

Let me start by saying VH is great. To other reviewers' comments, it has some different "takes" on a number of traditional products that make it well worth a visit. Examples are the buns, BBQ sauce--one of our favorites, pretzels, and meats.I know another reviewer had a concern about the chicken, which we buy regularly and love. They are large pieces and I believe slightly undercooking the chicken was the cause of the rubbery texture this reviewer experienced. Because VH chicken breasts are larger pieces than most found at most markets, they require longer cook times to reach the necessary internal temperature. I've been grilling a long time and it just happened to me the other day when one of four chicken breasts was larger and it was inadvertently undercooked enough to have a rubbery texture. Just a thought, but I'd hate for people to avoid VH chicken.

We really like the products at Von Hanson, however, today we were very unhappy with the Chanhassen location in that none of the staff wore face masks. Being in the vulnerable age group we felt very uncomfortable being in that shop, and will not shop there until they start caring for the health of their customers

If you want OK meats and shitty service be sure to stop on in. This location has some of the worst service. Their employees are rude, dismissive and get flustered when customers, you guessed it, ask for things to purchase.
