Von Hansons - Champlin

I was very disappointed today. My wife and I have been going to Von Hanson's for many years. My wife bought 4 of the stuffed pork chops. We have had them several time and they have been great. The ones we had today were not. the stuffing was so salty it was not edible. My wife called the store and the employee she talked to said he had a new person make the stuffing and we should just put some cream of mushroom soup on it to cover the salt. I would have expected them to tell us to bring back the ones we froze and they would replace them. He just said put cream of mushroom soup on it. Their food is not cheap, but it was always good before. The customer service today was terrible. Will not be going back there again.

The Best local spot to get all of your deli meats in the area, owner is very friendly and makes me feel like im back in the italian deli's in queens NY

I grew up on red meat and never really knew how to shop at a real "Butcher shop". Since moving to Champlin fours years ago and trying this store for the first time, I have never bought meat elsewhere. The best steaks, burgers, brats, awesome chicken, and even goodies for the puppy! The guys are great fun and always appreciate the business. Until next weekend my friends!

We are Aldi's shoppers but have been let down by their meat multiple times. So we've stopped buying meat at Aldi and have started buying all our meat at Von Hanson's and that's the trick to save money on groceries and get excellent meat.They are super kind and easy to work with. The quality of their meat is excellent. We buy all our deli meat here and the quality of Boar's Head is excellent...I want to eat sandwiches at home now. Their chicken breast is also excellent. Plus, they have lots of stuff that is difficult to find elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and give them a try.

Super friendly staff, great meat cuts, and good prices. We come here often to buy steaks for our family celebrations, Fay trimmings for our own elk burgers, and for seasoning. Von Hansen's Champlin is one of the best butcher shops out there. Keep up the good work!

Went to Von Hansons in the Champlin Anoka Area. It was Sunday and the first real day of spring. I was craving a Porterhouse for grilling all day long. They were open until 6 PM, and we went there at 5 PM. There were no Porterhouse steaks left, and the butcher said he really didn't feel like cutting us a few fresh steaks because he just cleaned the saw. He offered us a few bucks off on the two remaining New York strips that were less than 3/4" thick and did not look very good. The prices at Von Hansons were no bargain, and for that level of service, why would I go there again? What I learned is that for the service, quality, and Price, what does Von Hansons offer that I can't get at Coborns, Cub, or one of the others? The answer is NOTHING. Very disappointed in the $ 30 I just spent at Von Hansons for low quality meat and something I really didn't want. How about cleaning your meat saw after you close?
