I reserved upper floor seats at the Uptown Theater in late October 2024 for a Saturday night show by the Drive by Truckers (performing their Southern Rock Opera tour). Overall, the sound quality was clear (but also super-loud). It was awesome having upper level reserved seats (a bit pricey at $85 each, but worth it to get an unobstructed view of the stage while seated). On the plus side, check-in with the Wallet app for your online ticket was easy. Also, the facilities were pretty clean. The only minus is they do not really serve food or snacks. The cocktail beverage seemed a bit overpriced ($15 + tax) for what you got. Would recommend getting dinner and drinks before you enter the Uptown Theater and just enjoy the show.

The Uptown theater was a such a cool smaller venue mixed into the uptown neighborhood of Minneapolis. We recently saw Dashboard Confessional & Boys Like Girls here and we were blown away with how close we were to the bands!! We did a meet & greet so we got early access and were able to get up against the rail in front of the stage. The bathrooms are upstairs in the balcony area along with another bar (pro tip: upstairs bar had little to no line). The drinks are the prices you'd expect from a concert venue. The sound quality was great and they even had free water! We were able to get free neighborhood parking and we had a great time! I would love to see another show here one day!

We went here Saturday night for the Sleeping with Sirens show and had a great time! We had to call in a question during the day and the staff on the phone was very friendly and helpful! The check in process was easy with very standard security, scanning, and line set up. We showed up slightly after concert start so there was no line. The staff inside was all friendly and the crowd was pretty well behaved for a rock show. They let people get a little wild which I think does a lot to keep the pop punk scene fun but the staff were quick to step in and catch crowd surfers. I didn't see anyone out of line or any fights so I assume the security was doing their job keeping everything peaceful. The lines for the bathroom were insane though, having only four stalls in the women's bathroom seemed nowhere close to enough for a concert venue with as large of a capacity as they have. The drink choices were nice with a standard bar set-up with several beer options. Their custom cocktails are a bit disappointing as they aren't very creative and are kind of overpriced for how low effort they are. In general, expect to pay at least $15+ for a cocktail after tip. The sound quality was good though throughout the show and the view of the stage was good from all the vantage points we tried. We will likely be back :)

Strange set up overall. Only venue of this size I know that you can't leave and come back. Lame. Also, Ticketmaster is the worst. Won't go back as long as Ticketmaster is mediator. Need to get on the First Ave/The Current AXS train. Much better and shows will be promoted better.
