Truffle Hill Chocolates

What happened? The new store in Excelsior is a HUGE letdown. Loved the location in Tonka Bay. The fun, quaint atmosphere and charm is gone. This store needs some help. The chocolates were great but the fun is gone. I suggest better lighting in the chocolate case, get rid of the cheap plastic trays...and why the PEZ dispensers and popcorn and Easter grass. Not good. Tables and chairs would be nice. The others stores in Excelsior have the feel of the former Truffle Hill, why doesn't Truffle Hill?

This is such a great hidden gem! I saw there's not a lot of Yelp activity, but this place is doing just fine without 100s of reviews! They have all of your chocolate needs, from truffles, to giant blocks of chocolate shaped like trains, instruments, holiday themes, and more! The prices are very reasonable and any chocolate you pick out is A+ quality! My favorite is the salted caramel truffles, I can't get enough! I love going here for small gifts for friends and family or just to pick up a treat for myself. I'll be coming back soon!!

My mom was looking for some dark chocolate marshmallow bunnies so I called Truffle Hill. Although I live downtown and walk by their downtown location all the time, I was put in touch with their other location since they don't have a phone yet at the downtown location. I spoke with someone who said they're making some dark chocolate marshmallow bunnies and would make sure the downtown location has them available. When we went back to the doentown location they actually had some put aside for me! So that was very sweet and kind. Their chocolates are DELECTABLE. I highly recommend Truffle Hill.

I came in again recently and was not greeted even though I said hello, I bought a $27.00 1 pound box without a hint of thankfulness for my purchase and the door did not hit me in the rear as I left, future business lost.

Exceptional chocolates, exceptional service, the finest of everything right in our backyard! I've ordered for over 7 years and my clients anxiously await their Truffle Hill Chocolate gifts!

Such a monumental drop off can't be the original owners. Having first orders special chocolates for my wedding 25 years ago and annually since truffles for my extended family I can say as long time customer it's no longer unique or special. Literally giving you a plastic divided box is straight out of Whitman Samples play book. Oh and hey don't mix a Carmel with your 9 count box of chocolates those are separate. In the good old days you were able to buy a pound /half whatever of chocolates nope now it's a plastic tray count. The selection is reduced but thankfully they added forever shelf life cotton candy and Necco's...use to really like this place but 0 thought was given to carrying over any atmosphere or creating a new one. Oh well it was good while it lasted.

Truffle Hill is truly amazing! They helped make a wonderful moment for us even more special A fantastic custom box of chocolates that said "You're going to be a daddy" We have always loved their chocolates so it was great that we got to enjoy it during such an exciting time.

We were very disappointed by the service. Buying chocolate should be a pleasant experience. We will never go back.

With large portions of 101 closed I have been taking some new roads and stumbled across Truffle Hill. I am probably one of the only people that is actually glad 101 closed and I found some new places like Truffle Hill. Some of the best chocolates I have ever had anywhere. Great selection to chose from.
